That's the point. The entire movie deals with Superman, but from the points of view of everyone else in the DCU. I think it's a great way of incorporating Batman into the mix while still keeping Superman as a main character: Have Superman as the plot focus, but Batman as the lens through which we see him.

I know people complain about others saying not muh Superman but I believe between MoS and Injustice being as popular as it was and the Arkham games also being shown to be very entertaining games that DC and Snyder by extension are going to ride that gravy train to treat Superman's character as a beating mule to coast on.

Still not apologising because that's just what the trailer fed me. There were so many people who went up in arms about how Superman wasn't "that bad" or "evil' in Man of Steel and now this trailer comes out and everyone is singing praises of how of course they went this route, where else could they go after Man of Steel? Which is annoying because people would also say how inspirational and virtuous Superman was meant to be perceived in his "début" film. Sure it probably aren't the same people but Occam's Razor says otherwise.

When will DC learn that what works for Batman will not work for Superman

Batman in this seems to be very much the same as the DKR Bats, only somewhat younger, the difference is that Superman is the one that is mistrusted by the public, so Batman is sent to fight him (likely coerced by Luthor to fight him, which will lead to them teaming up to fight him.)
