Let's have another Fireball thread.
Maybe we can discuss the
You know this is just going to be another pic dump, Right?
isn't this a Japanese animation
that airs on Japanese TV
I believe there's a board for that
>WALL-E and Fireball take place in the same universe
It's like digimon.
The mods think it's /co/ for some reason
>no series 3
>no Fireball HD remake
>no rerelease of the DVDs or toys
>no subbed series on Disney channel
I hope you've got a spare hundred bucks or so lying around
I demand more Fireball
should we make a petition?
I think it's clear by now that everyone involved hates money and nice things
Actually if the robots are to be believed (and with their loose grasp of, well, everything, they probably aren't) the series takes place on Uranus
>The war referenced at the end of the first season was the nuclear holocaust that made the earth unfit for life, and left WALL-E with a mountain of trash to clean up but no humans to serve.
>yfw when Drossel meets EVE and calls her
>The war referenced at the end of the first season
Is mentioned a lot more than once because it's a war between Humanity and the robots which has been ongoing since before the events of Charming, pegging it at over 144 years long
But don't they both take place during diffrent centuries or something?
Actually, scrap that figure. Gedächtnis has been with the family about 2800 years and mentions that Lord Windstille wanted to find a peaceful resolution to the war
So the War has been going almost 3000 years at minimum
Figma or chogokin
/toy/ and /m/ had a baby that lives on /co/ despite being /a/
Which is better /co/?
Hips or ass?
why would the're be war? Skynet?
>humans return to earth at the end of WALL-E
>recolonize earth, all is well
>skip a few milennia, nuklear war humans doing the same mistakes as they did before they first left earth
>Robots are tired of humans shit
I like the way you think
It's never made clear. At some point in time, the robots took over a significant portion of the world, with humans driven to "the desert". It seems to be set up like the Mega-Cities in Judge Dredd: robot cities surrounded by inhospitable (to robots) wastelands.
Along the way, the robots seem to have forgotten how they came to power and why humanity fights them. They also came up with some bizarre prophecy about the emergence of a non-hostile, friendly type of human they called "Charming Mankind", which, of course, turns out to be bullshit.
At the end of Fireball, the humans finally win
what is the technological age humans are in in fireball anyways? They have rockets, right? that doesn't sound very advanced for 3 milennia of technological progress, maybe they were set back to the stone age when the robots took over, the robots didn't see them as a threat and they rebuilt their technology in the desert without being noticed?
Outside a few lines, humans aren't given much attention so it's all guesswork
They live outside the city in a desert and have technology advanced enough to not only fight the robots but eventually win. The military ability of the robots is never brought up so it's hard to compare but, since it took 144+ years to invade and capture Tempest Tower, I would guess they're less advanced than the robots and winning through sheer perseverance and numbers.
SO essentially motherfuckers like this were the ones who made it through tempest tower?
That seems to be the gist of it, yes
I see now ive made a grave mistake in just ordering one
You have no idea
The last video game character you played as has to infiltrate Tempest Tower. How fucked are they?
I'll have to wait till next week to correct it but it shall be done
What is the benefit of giving a robot ridiculous hips?
Was this made in France or something?
Because why not?
It's called Uranos' Kingdom's Tempest Domain for a reason.
Drossel, seen here wearing Fighting Unit Belinda, is a master of the ancient martial art known as Karate
Any similarity to Capoeira is strictly coincidental
>Heavily-augmented, complete with arm blades
>Depending on augment configuration, he is:
>Potentially capable of hacking any computers/robots/misc. machines encountered and bending them to his will
>Potentially capable of both bombarding robots with EMP weapons and being completely immune to the effects
>Potentially in possession of shitloads of various armaments and the augs/skills to use them effectively
>Potentially a stealth master, complete with sound-suppression and cloaking augs
>Potentially hyper-agile, to the point of jumping extremely high and running at higher speeds than most humans, and even surviving falls via augs that would kill other humans
>Potentially super-strong and capable of throwing vending machines like softballs
>Potentially armored to a degree where it'd take a hell of a lot to kill him
>Potentially in possession of all abilities/augs/equipment listed above, thereby making him OP as fuck
I'm pretty sure the inhabitants of Tempest Tower would be the fucked ones, not Jensen. Then again, being as augmented as he is, they might take a liking to him instead of attacking on sight.
It's "as the factory built her" with robots
Her model design pre-dates levitation.
I cant accept something like her not being divine
Well they certainly believe they're on God's level
Fireball Charming, subbed
I just watched some episodes
+ those hips
+ the lore? At least Gedächtnis seems to imply some interesting background stuff now and then
- this is a black hole of comedy, not even a snicker. But hey, japanese humour.
>Beim Zweifel am Lebenssinn Treibstoff überprüfen!
>"By doubt of meaning of life check fuel!"
I need to know why a Japanese production has so much German in it
And why some of it is gibberish like the "heater battery" in Drossel's full name
Which is better, original or charming?
>Robots can't have sex
But anything is possible for Drossel.
Pic related. It's been a lot longer than that.
Of Uranus's largest moons, two -- Ariel and Miranda -- are named after characters in The Tempest. Ariel in particular is a sky spirit, which would follow the flight-themed names of the other characters: drossel = thrush, flügel = wings, windstille = windless.
So yeah. Fireball probably takes place on Uranus's fourth largest moon, Ariel.
>Fireball Drossel has regular feet and, for the most part, walks slowly
>Fireball Gedächtnis has long pointed legs and, when he moves, is quick and fluid
>Charming Drossel has long pointed legs and is exceptionally agile
>Charming Gedächtnis has more sensible feet and is slow and plodding
It means something but what
That robots generally have an easier time moving quickly and balancing well in an artificial environment on tiny points rather than on feet?
Humans and other organic lifeforms naturally have imperfect balance, while also being built to traverse extremely-uneven and unstable natural terrain. Having flat-ish feet and articulated toes is exceptionally-good when walking and running on ground that's soft, unstable, and uneven. These feet also give us more surface area to balance our weight on, which makes not falling over notably-easier.
Robots, on the other hand, can have perfect balance from a mix of gyroscopic technology and computer compensation, while also tending to traverse flat, stable and artificial terrain. Extremely precise and low-surface-area points in place of feet are good for flat artificial terrain, since they're able to balance on much smaller points of contact and don't have air drag, which facilitates faster and more agile leg movement.
Just like plodding human feet aren't exactly super-fast or perfectly-stable on flat surfaces where they can't grip anything, pointed robo-legs would be complete and utter shit on mud, sand and other unstable terrain, since they'd just sink in and get stuck if it's deep enough.
>Drossel tries astrology and confuses Gedächtnis' eye for a celestial body, calling it an ill omen
>in the last episode, when things have all gone to shit, there's a giant red planet in the sky
>Episode where they discovered Charming is really Warning.
>City seems to be burning.
Check the torrent sites.
I'll tell if the threads still up in the morning.
So what are the sources for these figure pictures?
i need them for reasons
I don't think this one got finished
It's probably for the best
Jebediah Kerman flys a rocked into the Tempest Tower at 95000 m/s
>The Boss from Saints Row 4
Fuck, do they all turn into robots or side with the humans? Does Drossel become a Saint?
Either way I love it.
I don't know about two but I found it with the power of Google Image Search and five minutes of my time
If I was a talented Drawfag, I would do a piece depicting different /co/ related robots in a social setting. In the corner would be Nox trying to wheedle time travel info out of a Terminator.
Nox isn't a robot, silly
Also we have this
Recolouring an already existing image would be easiest
Something like this
it's because japanese like how german sounds. It's funny that german steals a lot of english words like "pullover" or "cool" (there are many more but it's real fucking late here)
and then weeaboos incorporate japanese into english
>big blue eyes
what? those were taken off when her mask was removed, so i expected something like cameras to be there, or some light source because she can turn her eyes on and off to simulate blinking.
She has a real issue with slang
>please stop sending letters instead of using email you're getting robots blown up
