The humour is hit and miss

Other than that, they reuse too much animation and the voice acting is pretty mediocre. The humor is hit and miss, entirely subjective.

I'm a Spider-Man fag. As long as he's on the big screen, I'm entertained. That being said, this WAS the lesser series.

I like parts of it. I liked Gwen and Peter together. I liked how Spider-Man moved in the fight scenes. I hated the Lizard's design and his nonexistent motivations.

It's a bulging cheek since she has a hunk of doughnut in it. You can see it more clearly in the third panel.

He just tried to pull it off with shading in the second panel and wasn't up to it artistically.

I agree; this is rather crass to just have Amber visibly spit up her donut, especially for the otherwise subdued Willis. The normal gag is to choke up and your cheeks bulge and also you turn green, but no actual blob of doughnut.

And yes, it's "doughnut", not "donut".

Anyways, I just wonder why Willis is shifting the story to this for some reason. It's been four years (to the reader) since we saw Amber's mom and Joe's dad interact, pornographic pinup notwithstanding. It would be like if you had a cartoon with a love interest you bring up in the first episode, then forget about completely until the season finale of the third season of the series.

But I'm gonna side with >>94087795 that this is meant to remind readers that Amber's mom and Joe's dad banged as a means of segueing into the next Slipshine comic. Speaking of which, have we ever heard anything about that next release?
