Heathcliff has a salmon latte.
but why
>>93956972
Heh. You can always count on Heathcliff to buck the trends.
What a fucking asshole.
It can be anything, so long as it's /co/ related. I'll start.
Steven Universe
Pros:
>Light hearted
>Interested aesthetics
>The music
>Some of the character interactions are pretty funny
>The overarching story is intriguing enough to keep me watching
>Yellow Diamond makes a pretty imposing antagonistic force
>Deals with some pretty heavy character development via real world universal issues (i.e. depression, lose of a loved one, etc)
Cons:
>Uninspired art style
>Plot points frequently get dropped for bullshit filler (ala Adventure Time)
>Focuses far too much on being "diverse"
>Toxic as shit fanbase
>The main character is a useless Mary Sue
>Rose Quartz is a plot device rather than a character
>useless
>mary sue
how can you be this retarded
>>93956891
>>Uninspired art style
I like it alot
>>Plot points frequently get dropped for bullshit filler (ala Adventure Time)

>>Focuses far too much on being "diverse"

>>Toxic as shit fanbase

>>The main character is a useless Mary Sue
He crys like all the time
>>Rose Quartz is a plot device rather than a character

>I like it alot
Explain why.
The date is July 16th, 1945, and on a lonely plain near Alamogordo, New Mexico, a blinding light marks the start of the Atomic Age.
Unbeknownst to the observers, however, more than an atomic explosion has occurred. A chain reaction has been set off, as more than just radiation spreads outward from the blast.
Scientists theorized that the testing of an atomic weapon could set the very sky ablaze, yet took the risk anyway as pioneers. Had they known what was to come, they might have left Pandora's Box unopened. It was on that sunny day in July that the Atomic Age began, and it is in that age which we currently live.
For many years afterward the world proceeded unchanged. Following successful tests, the newfound power was used many times. It ended the war with Imperial Japan. It gave rise to national superpowers, as nuclear proliferation drove the march of progress. While in the very genes of babes born after that fateful day at Alamogordo, nature's newest surprise percolated. Yet even then, those first born were no different from their fellow man, save for minor things.
No, it was the generation that saw Chernobyl that everything changed, as the tree of life of our planet finally bore its hellish fruit in a violent spasm, and the Children of the Atom were forever transformed.
The release of a fresh source of raw power into the skies brought about changes in the adolescents growing up so changed. Strange powers, and even stranger appearances began to pop up, coinciding with puberty. And so it was that the world became a lot stranger.
I'm sorry /co/, I felt like rambling to work out a superhero setting. tl;dr is "atomic tests at alamogordo set off a chain reaction, children two generations later start being born with super powers.". So first the US sees a huge spike, then Japan and so on following the timeline of nuclear tests. And that's as far as I've gotten. I'm also drunk. Please help.

Flag on the moon.
How did it get there?
>>93956856
It's okay, anon.
keep going, this could be rather amusing,
>>93956883
The same as our Earth's history, via the space race. Nothing significantly changes until after Chernobyl.
>>93956892
I'm getting a headache and I need to pee, keep asking questions that I can think about.
Reading this for the first time. Without spoiling, what am I in for?
Oops, forgot to take the trip off.

Is that the volume before Miller was actually writing it? Because it doesn't really get worth reading until Miller actually becomes the writer. He had just been a penciler before that for a few issues. They aren't bad though, just not great like his classic run was.
Kino. If you're familiar with Miller's later works, mainly his stylistic sensibilities, you'd see them developing here. The book is to Miller what Miracleman is to Moore.
He is a Beautiful Cinnamon Roll Too Good For This World, Too Pure
So the other thread is filled with bitching but otherwise-
The new season is supposed to be character based and shit since they're tired of politics in general.
In any case-
Who's your favorite character and why is it Butters?
He's objectively the most amusing characters and his Professor Chaos persona is amazing, I can't wait to see what happens in Fractured But Whole.
The only thing I really feel about south park right now is still being pissed about the game getting pushed back to fucking october. But at least the new seasons's less than a month away.
>The new season is supposed to be character based and shit
If only.
>>93956416
I also can't wait for more butters
goddamn this comic is good
>>93956216
>the creator made two whole comics of what happens next to the goat guy
>posted once and never brought it up again
>>93956216
post the you can`t make me have fun panel, please
>>93956377
This is the superior ship.
Bunny can suck Cartters smegma covrerd dick.
When did you realize this was underrated?
i always thought it was a fun show that started the mainstream adult comedy cartoon.
>>93955286
I agree, but I mean the movie specifically. The show balanced surrealism and slice of life style story telling nearly perfectly, far beyond most other shows that attempted the same thing. It can be absurd and intensely relatable at the same time
desu I think the show went down hill after season 2.
Give me all of your "Do Not Want" images. Please.
Anyone remembers Cowboys of Moo Mesa?
>>93955032
It was ok
>>93955032
The video game was nice, but I liked Sunset Riders to begin with.
>>93955032
I don't actually.
TMNT but with cowboy cows I assume?
Anyone have the picture of Dean holding a coffee mug with his face holding a coffee mug with his face?
Why hasn't there been an episode that starts with Homer smacking Lisa across the face?
Why hasn't there been an episode where they finally tell use what Homer's character arc is?
Just a reminder that all stories, written after the original writers left, are just shitty fan-fiction.
>>93954703
>Implying there aren't good fan fictions
>Implying there aren't fan fictions better than the sequel series
>Implying there aren't fanfictions better than the original series
>>93954703
Just a reminder that all stories, including fan fiction and sequels, are just that; stories, and the originals aren't inherently better.
>>93954879
Fucking this.
Why is pic related actually funny? It's pretty basic, but even today 20 something years later the humor still tickles. Or am I a retard
>>93954542
Sorry, anon. You're a retard.
This show was never funny.
>>93954542
Becuse it was clever. Humor doesnt need to be complex, disgusting or insightful, which I think Hollywood has completely dropped. everyone has become jaded as fuck. Also the political jokes in retrospect are interesting with jokes about Bill Clinton and late 90s issues.
I guess we're both retards anon
