I like to compare Home to Trolls.
Both had noted singers in their voice cast but Home just used a bunch of their songs as background music as a matter of fact while Trolls was actually about singing.

Dreamworks is a music licensing company, so it makes sense. They have the capabilities to do their own music (prince of egypt, Htyd) but they go for the easier, time saving, profitable approach to music.

Didn't Oliver and Roy's earlier appearances with the Seven Soldiers get retconned pretty earlier? Later issues of the series had a villain named Spider as a member who was basically Green Arrow but he pretended to be good. And he was yellow instead of green

The main ones with 9/10/11/12 are all right. They can occasionally be great like with Weeping Angels of Mons, and they're definitely better than the IDW run, but not much beyond that. That one miniseries with 4 and Sarah was kind of cool. The one with 3 and Salamander was okay, but disappointing for what's meant to be Cornell's swan song to the franchise. Speaking of, Four Doctors was fucking disappointing and the other event comic with the Cybermen was even worse. As for the one with the Ghost, I read one issue, and it seemed mediocre.

Both of the shows he made got ruined by the networks.
