Ok, so this show has had
>vehicles that turn into robots
>beasts that have turned into robots
>vehicles hat have turned into beasts
So when are we gonna get beasts that turn into beasts? It's obviously the next step
>it's a "I don't even care anymore let's just make shit up and draw connections between episodes of a cartoon built around randomness and nonsense" episode
>>94015117
>iron into gold, fire into air
>fire into air

And all of it underwater, no less.
Who are some villains from other mediums that would be much better as cape villains?
Pic related would be the GOAT Batman villain

>>94014956
Isn't it pretty much every Batman villains nowadays?
>speculation on The Dark Knight Rises back when it was only known as Batman 3 and nobody knew who the villains would be
>"the main villain should be the Riddler and he should be like Jigsaw from Saw"
>>94014956
it would be an even edgier riddle.
>Telltale's the Wolf Among Us Season 2 confirmed
My husbando is returning!
Is there a Discord server for this board? If so can someone give me an invite.
Hi, /co/.
Some context: A friend and I are working on a Comic (I'm the writer, he's the Artist) and we plan to apply to hiveworks in fall this year (they have switched to year long submissions recently).
However, there are many unanswered questions about how Hiveworks operate. Please note that there is barely any Information about this, whether the hiveworks Homepage or anywhere else - and those you can find are ambigous or questionable. We hope, that some people on this board (maybe even former applicants) can shine some light on these issues:
1. Editorial practices: Does hiveworks provide Feedback for their artists? Do they demand alterations and / or make commisions like most print Publishers do?
2. Payment: How does hiveworks compensate their artists? Ad-Revenue, fixed salary, per-page payments? Again, no Information on this anywhere. Recently we've even heard that, in fact, the artists have to pay for hiveworks' services.
3. Copyright: Does the Copyright stay with the creators, get signed over or is there an in-between solution? Again, very conflicting info on this.
4. General trivia, experiences and opinions.
Thanks in advance!
From the hiveworks Homepage:

Pretty much all the other infromation is on the specifics of how the Submission should look.
Issues 1. and 2. aren't mentioned whatsoever and 3. only in relation to the Submission, not the release itself.

I work with them and I'm not even the only person on the board who does/has.
1. They really don't seem to bother me or my team with editorial demands. Apparently they have with others. But they seem fairly hands-off with us. I honestly cannot remember the last suggestion they've made
2. We get a monthly stipend. Others get per page rates, or salaries, or ad revenue. It seems to differ from comic to comic.
3. We own everything except the exclusive global rights to distribute it as an online comic. But everything from IP to global printing in any language that isn't English is ours and ours alone.
4. I don't think people even realize we're on Hiveworks. We've been gaining traction, but my penciller/inker's other online comic is much more well-known.
I like things though. Keeps the comic running, not a lot of interference and I've only met good people since joining. I don't really know about whatever negative stuff is happening anywhere. I don't really talk with anyone about it. But it probably exists. I don't really talk to others about the great stuff either. The whole thing is a much more individualized experience than many would have you believe.
Anyway, good luck, anon!
Let's talk about Watchmen. What made it so good?
>>94014726
The fact that who is in the right is vague and the reader basically decides who is in the right based on their own beliefs.
tragedy
>>94014726
It was character driven with multi dimensional characters.
Despite the fact that he hates modern day capeshit, Moore knows about tropes of the genre to actually deconstruct them. He knows about the genre more than most modern day cape writers. It's also evident through his Supreme.
Fuck summer, but Katie can stay.
>>94014936
You don't like Summer?
>>94014936
>Fuck summer
Coach Z, how come you don't dance no more?
Why couldn't this be part of the MCU? Hell, it would've been cool to get a few anthology series set between films for various characters.
You are taking the MCU more seriously than Disney is
>>94014546
Because that would restrict the possibilities of the real MCU
>Hey guys, i have an idea for Guardians 4, we'll bring in Annihilus and...
>Sorry Gunn, he's already part of the universe, he was in that game-y thingie
In general you can't let things branch too much as you'll risk losing focus and quality control.
Plus it's fucking Telltale
>>94017286
This. There used to be MCU tie-in comics, and then those started fucking with the continuity too much, so they got canned.
lol
what was teh point of this?

>Best boy is going to become Captain America, pick up Mjolnir, and kill Thanos
>>94014150
I would love it if when they fight Thanos, someone cracks open's Thanos' skull so a bit of brain is showing, and Thanos is still smashing away, and he picks up a hero and says something intimidating, and they just punch into the hole in his head, yank out some brain, and bam, dead Thanos.
>interesting premise
>interesting characters
>great art

What other webcomics with great potential have just stopped like this?
Prague Race. I mean, I can't really complain when webcomics die because some random person was putting the weight of a whole team on their shoulders AND releasing that stuff for free, but it sucks. I get why people just up and stop one day but it sucks.
>What other webcomics with great potential have just stopped like this?
His porn comic Love Gun.

I thought Prague Race was still updating?
