Which King series would you wish to be made into a short animated series the most? I think the Tommyknockers or The Talisman are my picks.
First one I ever read probably.

Eyes of the Dragon

Since they fucked up the movie so bad, I'd like to see [as] or HBO make a show out of this.
Is this series this good, or this was just lolsowacky exaggeration?
>>95202504
Yes it's the best but you're best off watching the show yourself instead of suffering the terrible memes and opinions yet to arrive in your thread
>>95202504
It was just a meme created to piss off R&M fans, but it's bad
Sealab and Frisky Dingo are better shows, but it's good
Did this movie ruin the DC cinematic universe?
>>95202489
By being too good? Yes.
By being grounded and realistic? Yes
>>95202531
I'm not saying the movie is bad, I'm asking if others think it may have set the wrong tone for the movie universe as a whole.
>>95202632
I don't think so. The DC cinematic universe lacks a Kevin Feige. That is, an executive producer that is a large fan of the original comics to rope the entire series in line and make sure it stays true to it's source material.
One of the reasons the MCU excels so much is that aside from the occasional mix up here and there (infinity gauntlet in Odin's treasury for instance), the MCU is relatively plothole-free.
Another example would be the need to just not be ashamed of making fans dreams come true. Although Age of Ultron was pretty mediocre, every nerd still fangasmed over the Hulkbuster fight, simply because it's not something you would think any executive would ever think about putting in the movie in their wildest dreams. Same goes for Bane breaking the Bat in Dark Knight Rises.
Simply put, the DC cinematic universe just cranks out movies without any real focus on what is appropriate. Not even most fans know or give a shit about Steppenwolf, yet they are putting him front and center as the villain for their Justice League movie instead of someone like Brainiac, Vandal Savage, or even saving Doomsday for the film instead of jobbing him out for the last 8 minutes of BvS.
BvS had a ton of potential to be good, but it concerned itself more with being a prequel to Justice League than it did with being it's own film and having it's own story. It's one of the contributing factors why Wonder Woman did succeed in theatres. It was just more enjoyable to watch as a stand alone film (even though Wonder Woman still had a small shout-out to the connected universe, it didn't center itself around it)
So I took a break from reading comics for almost a year, just work and spent more time on vidya as a hobby. But I've started to get back into it and, holy shit... I mean its sad and all... but goddamn I'm so glad I'll never be subjected to his shitty art again.
But still, the meme is amazing... So in honor of his death, how bout a Frank thread?

Is there any cartoon show with NEVER DIE FANDOM like this one?
I mean, geez, it's remarkable.
>>95202157
Invader Zim
Quite ironic for a fandom that kills people.
>>95202157
Just saw butch two weeks ago
He seemed like a cool guy and said he wanted to bring the show back. He also said he liked the authority comic which surprised me
Did this show break the 4th wall TOO often?

Did it?

It was always funny so it never bothered me

Why are the hyper moves on this game so shit? There are one or two cool but the rest are incredibly soulless and the atrocious voice acting ruins them even more if that's even possible.
Also why does it sound like they replaced all the Marvel characters awesome music for generic MCU rip off songs?
>>95200968
because fuck Ike
>>95200968
Marvel is shit and Capcom is shit.
Therefore MvCI is shit.
It's almost like this game was rushed out within a year cause Ike the Pearl Man Perlmutter is cheap.
Marvel has changed a lot in 11 years...
>>95200965
Not really, we still have way too many pointlessly repeated panels
>>95200984
It's not about the art.
damn this is terrible.
I really like to never be able to talk about anything but obscure connoisseurs crap because of butthurt arrogant virgins christcuck taking a cartoon too seriously. Between you and sjw it's like choosing between aids and cholera.
I discovered this show last week, never talked about it or tried to watch it because of you damn assholes spitting on everything popular like goddamn turbo retard contrarian. Then when I asked about it I was welcomed with a tornado of insanity, and Reddit related bants, a place I never visit.
Turn out it's great.
Fuck you 4chins. I'll never take advices from you again.
Teenager.

>taking advice from people on 4chan
you were already too far gone when you decided other people's opinions were going to dictate yours as well
so either kill yourself or learn to try things out (as you did) before judging them

aku vs the irken

Why
>>95200563
Why not?
>>95200489
>Aku is the remnant of an indestructible eldritch force from the dawn of time.
>Irkens are morons and are hopelessly dependent on their technology.
Gee, I wonder
I just watched this movie, seems kinda overrated. I'm mean it's great for a DC movie but the new spiderman was much better. Don't know why it's so hyped up. Action was so bland. Best part were the wonder woman waifu parts
you said it yourself DC set the bar so low all they had to do was pull an average marvel 6/10 that plus good marketing made it a hit
I genuinely enjoyed it for the character of Diana, the character of Steve, and their interactions. The final fight is kind of a big dumb special effects mess, but I really liked seeing Diana interact with man's world, seeing Steve always try to do the right thing, and seeing their chemistry together.
It's far and away the best DCEU movie, and I feel like it's a pretty good version of the "Wonder Woman comes to man's world for the first time" story.
I'm so bored of it being treated like it's the best movie ever created.
Judy Hopps thread?
>>95094851
As long as bondage Nick is along for the ride...sure
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doU4eblI9o4
>>95094851
so what are her hobbies or interest outside of police work. What do you we know about Judy besides she likes Gazelle and started a race war?
Could they have worked as their own full-fledged series like Pinky and the Brain did?
The episode where Slappy got checked into a mental-hospital and Skippy is taken by CPS was supposed to be the pilot for one.
>>95200155
It was not supposed to be a pilot. Stop spreading that unless you have got a source from the staff.
>>95200155
i'd have eaten it up
>>95200155
They should critic films like MT3K
what are some good series for someone trying to get into lobo or deathstroke?
they seem cool but I'm not sure if what series does them justice
The current Deathstroke run is great.
Can't help you with Lobo though.
>>95199394
Lobofag here.
Lobos first rune is probably the best comic ever made.
After that: Lobos back
Then the First ongoing of Lobo of 1993.
Fragtastic Voyage is fun to read and the art is cool.
Extra: Lobo/mask. Thats a total massacre.
>>95199394
For Lobo, you can start with The Last Czarnian by Keith Giffen, Alan Grant and Simon Bisley. Then Lobo's Back, by the same team. And then you can move to his ongoing by Grant and rotating artists. All his specials and one-shots can be read whenever. The rule of thumb is that if it's written by Giffen or Grant, it's probably awesome.
