but ultimately, nothing was her fault, because she was a victim of the patriarchy. Her father and husband are the ones to blame for all of Bojack's problems.

She probably still would have been unhappy if she married who her father wanted her to, but maybe Bojack would have been less screwed up.

I'm guessing that last part of his humanity that he was still clinging on for awhile was the basic need for love and affection even if it meant cheating on your wife for someone more younger and hotter

Just by doing that this season ended up being one of my favorites. It would have sucked if Bojack ended up going even lower than before.

He's taking some accountability. He's still making making mistakes, but like with the situation with getting the milk, he elected to tell Hollyhock exactly where he was going and was able to comfort her. I think he's finally realizing that change isn't instantaneous and that he can't expect perfection overnight.

I think he'll still have slip ups, but I don't think his mistakes will be a massive as the earlier seasons because he's learning to be more honest with other's and himself.
