What's the worst "good" cartoon you ever seen in your life?
Your favorite cartoon.
Transformers Prime.
Do you mean worst as in something that's considered good by a lot of people but you personally consider bad?
Do Arnold fans seriously think Nick will do anything related to the series again? It's been dead for over 10 years and the main demographic probably has never seen an episode. We'll never get The Patakis, the second movie, or a novelization.
We are living in the age of Nostalgia OP. I have been hearing about a Might Morphing Power Rangers movie, who knows what will be up to be rebooted, continued, made into a movie or just ruined out right.

>It's been dead for over 10 years
Jeez, What series have been dead for a decade and return to cartoon network. OH RIGHT! Thunder cats
Or maybe avatar... If you talk about nick.
>>64600058
Maybe, as >>64601360 said companies are marketing nostalgia up the ass, however I highly doubt that if it did come back it would be able to survive with the same premise and tone.
What kids want now is Regular Show, Adventure Time, Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners, etc. They want shows with lots of strange words, random humor, stupid catchphrases they can repeat at school, and annoyingly quirky characters. Hey Arnold is a show about a kid growing up in the Bronx(or where ever the show is supposed to take place) and the strange situations he gets in. It wouldn't last today, it is too slow and a little too subtle and serious for most kids, nothing fast-paced happens and the humor is pretty subdued.
If anything it would stay around if it turned into Shipping: The Cartoon(but we have enough of those as it is), and it would also probably end up being 3D. Honestly it wouldn't really be worth it.
Am I the only one who got super choked up when hearing the news that Robin Williams died? I can't think of another kid-friendly actor/comedian, at least of his caliber, who was in so many great kid-friendly movies when I was growing up in the 90s.
>Jumanji
>Mrs. Doubtfire
>Flubber
>Hook
>Alladdin
>...
These were all literally my favorite movies as a kid, and Robin Williams was a big reason for this.
IT'S FLUBBER!
Alladin was alright but jumanji, hook and flubber were shit
>>64581160
>jumanji, hook and flubber were shit
No they weren't.
At the very least they were great movies for kids.
What do you think about Duckman?
What the hell are you starring at?
He seemed pretty cool in Guardians of the Galaxy.
i think i just jerked to it as a kid before my cable box could pick up the porn channels

Anyone worried?
>>64593533
It has already more than doubled its production budget. Why would anyone be worried about anything?

Advertising. Remember Amazing 2?
>>64593667
Unless the advertising was over 150 million. It's made that back too.
Is it just me or has Family Guy been getting better at short brick jokes since switching to HD?
Note how I say short brick jokes and not five minute long music videos or elongated gore sequences.
Family Guy is probably the only cartoon in history where the newer episodes are funnier and more entertaining than the old episodes. I hate old re-runs from like seasons 1-6. Maybe because Ive seen them too much.
They've gotten somewhat less repulsive.
Needs more Meg.
NO WAY THAT'S THE SHRIMP
Toy Story 2 ended on a perfect note with Woody accepting his mortality and resolving to enjoy his time left with Andy as best as he can. The movie had already established their stance on mortality and toys having their owners grow up is supposed to symbolism death. What did Toy Story 3 add to this? So the toys get the easy way out and get adopted by a new owner. Doesn't resolve anything, they will just have to go through the process all over again. All Toy Story 3 was to show the process of things happening, which is really unnecessary if it adds nothing to the story and to the themes.
Seriously, what was with Jessie's line, "It's like Emily all over again"? The point of her character arc in TS2 was learning to accept love again, knowing the pain it would bring. All this thrown out the window with that one stupid line. That was the moment when I realized the writers had no clear idea on what they were doing, going for a bit of cheap drama at the expense of character development from the previous iterations.
lmao who cares about themes you fucking nerd
>>64602595
It was a complete unnecessary movie. Just marketing. Note that only the "main crew", the one that went to rescue Woody, remained. Also, asshole Woody, who gave a speech to Lotzo, not ending with something like: That child loves you so much that their parents should buy another Lotzo to trick her, she didn't replaced you, but, "she only left you behind!" Plus Boo Peep gone and being just a line in the movie.
I completely get your point.

>started watching this show for the pink-haired waifu material
>keep watching it because it'sc-cute
You ruined me, /co/.
>>64596978
It really is cute. I get kind of bored with the dwarves most of the time, but they can be fun. I started off not liking Queen Delightful and dammit she is cute, but stupid. Mostly watch it for the Glooms though
I like it too. I have a soft spot for cartoons that make me feel like a kid again and this show has a Disney Afternoon feel to it
I wonder why there wasn't an episode this past Monday. Or was there, and I missed it?
