Was there a comfier web-series than Edd-Era Eddsworld?
Was Eddsworld ever really that popular? I was always under the impression that it was just kind of a thing, but never had any major fans.
It's just a shame that it's in Tomska's hands now either way, the fatass twat.
>>77432840
It was a thing, yes.
>>77432840
Looks like it had a rather dedicated following of a good few hundred thousand, most episodes have 1M+ views.
There's also all the butthurt that happened when the red hoody guy left. I imagine it must have had some popularity for people to care about something like that.
Haven't read comics in forever want to jump back in starting with secret wars. Can anyone suggest to me comics to read and ones to avoid? Maybe point me in the direction of a pastebin or website with this type of info? All the ones I found suck.
>>77432250
More like No Muties, Forget The X-Men Ever Existed Marvel
Fucking Disney
>the ones to avoid
The Marvel Ones
>>77432264
Mutants are the laziest idea any ever came up with. Just think of a power. How'd they get that power? Fuck it, they were born with it.
Only one week away.
Is there any hype?
Eh.
Eh. The comic itself was kinda underwhelming. Casting seems good, though
I want to be hype for new MCU, but it's hard to get over the fact that it stars the most punchable face in existence.
It's up
>>77432016
does she go all the way?
>>77432034I haven't seen it yet
>>77432016Shadbase version when?
With my recent binge watching of Flarrow I got to thinking.
A lot of superheroes have evil counterparts, the dark version of themselves:
(General Zod, Zoom, Sinestro, Venom, Winter Soldier, Red Hulk)
Let's have some appreciation for evil hero expies.
Come to think of it, does Batman have an evil counterpart?
Pic related was the only thing I could think of.
>>77431904
Obligatory Zoom image
>>77431922
Killer Moth has occasionally been an evil Batman.
What were /co/'s thoughts on Fanboys?
Died a death over the last couple of years with like 4 updates every 9 months, but lasted quite a while from the looks of it, about 7ish years.
WHY DID YOU TAKE MY BLOOD
HAHAHAHAHA
I liked it plenty
Esecially the facial expressions
For a good while it was great.
Name me one comic book author that even comes close to writing anything half as good as this guys work and I'll be happy til I've finished reading their complete works.
>>77431803
Hey Alan, we all know your mad that Grant Morrison has one uped one too many times
Its time to let go
>>77431856
Morrison, I don't know WHY you constantly come to /co/ to try and pretend you are Moore's competitor. Your work isn't even better than the average shitty comic writer's.
>>77431803
Jack Kirby, both an amazing artist and writer, his pre capes stuff is facinating, and his marvel and dc stuff is legendary to the point it is some of the most important lore of both companies
“Legends of Today” — (8:00-9:01:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

So, what E-2 Wells just made, it's obviously the Speed Formula right?
>>77431780
>So, what E-2 Wells just made, it's obviously the Speed Formula right?
It would kinda suck if the Speed Formula was a serum and not a mathematical formula used as a mantra to tap into the Speed Force
Don't do it Barry, roids are bad.
>>77431780
>asks Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) to test it out
At least Jay will be able to go fast again
Adult comic's too full with
"Futa" and porn
Let's have a good old "cheesecake" thread, and general lewd and sexy comic related things
>Not gonna lie, it should be selling better. This book has the first 200 comics and it is pretty huge. It is a good book. Full of good comics. You want to support good, sex-positive comics, don’t you? Then please buy a copy, or let your friends know about this webcomic!
So /co, surely you'll all want to support sex-positive comics and buy this book, "You Suck", from Josh Lesnick! Everyone here loved Girly after all, there's no way he's gotten worse at making comics, right?
>>77431270
No, fuck him, hope he starves
Okay, OP I'm going to type this post up to be as unwitty and unmean as possible. I just want to state facts.
You should stop making threads about people you don't like. There's a few reasons. The first being that it sets a bad precedent. Another is that it gives the person you want to see less of, more attention. And that's an entirely backwards approach. Can you imagine how much better you'll like the webcomic medium if threads like these were not about slamming some guy for the umpteenth time, but instead about boosting some underdog barely anyone has heard of?
Awhile ago, before Para-Ten got domain squatted by some keysmith(???????) I got a few people into Para-Ten. And I felt good about myself. No, the threads didn't last as long as some sensationalist nonsense might, but I felt like I spread goodness.
Wouldn't you like to try that out? Because I already know where this road leads. It's actually pretty terrible. We're living in that world right now.
>>77431270
>sex-positive comics
Is that like HIV positive comics?
WHEN I LOOK AT YOU! I SEE THE STORY IN YOUR EYES!
>>77431166
How many art shifts does this show have now?
Why is Cyborg the only one on the team with good taste
>>77431166
It blew my mind that this wasn't a real song.
I'm kinda new to the whole capeshit thing. I like Daredevil, he seems cool. What's /co/'s opinion on him?
>>77431036
He's my favorite comic book character. Most consistently well written outside of Constintine.
>>77431036
There are very few characters with as many consistently great runs as him. Read Miller's run and Bendis' if you haven't already, but you really can't go wrong with any of his post-Miller runs.
Silver Age Daredevil is pretty hammy and might as well be a different character though.
>>77431070
>Silver Age Daredevil is pretty hammy and might as well be a different character though.
You can apply this to every superhero comic character who had an incarnation in the silver age.
On that I'd like to note that you can see a clear cut change from when the silver age ends and the Bronze Age begins when reading DD in truth.
The moment Ben Urich confronts DD in the hospital about his secret identity. The issue before that was DD fighting the Hulk, and after the Ben Urich issue the tone of the book changes radically, as those were some of Franks first issues writing the book. (He was already penciling them).
The baby continues
>>77430798
Well, he's 60% right.
Holly seemed pretty mad at endtown as a whole when she left.although he tried to rescue her he didn't actually do it well, how hard would it have been to get the dittos, which are proven to be OP, to mount a rescue? Hindsight, eh Wally?
>>77430831
yea but considering who was backing Jack Rabbit's little plot, using dittos might not have been wholly effective against the true OP shit of Endtown
>>77430798
>Don't want to bring up the baby.
>Make a craddle for her to sleep in.
Which is the best Superman origin story? I'm thinking of either getting Morrison's first volume of Action Comics, Man Of Steel or Birthright. Just read ASS so I'm wanting more symbolic inspirational stuff like that.
Superman Birthright. End thread/
>>77430761
>Which is the best Superman origin story?
The one you personally enjoyed the most.
Now fuck off and go learn to have an opinion, dipshit.
>>77430791
I've not a limitless amount of money or time.
>Updates should be coming back around January
Do webcomic authors have the worst work ethic?
something something muffet
>>77430699
She's one person trying to fulfill all her kickstarter requests, I'm not even sure if AD is her full time job.
If you have to point fingers give a nice big middle one to the author of VG cats who literally takes so long his jokes lose their relevance upon release. Scott being busy designing overpriced t-shirts does not come before the main work.
>>77430765
>I'm not even sure if AD is her full time job.
Pretty sure it is, but now she just goes to cons instead updating comic.
