To me it went downhill the moment it started taking itself too seriously. The freelancer plot should have been a background for the comedy, not the main event. It's not even that it stopped being funny to me, there was barely any comedy as it went on. Sad as I consider the first few seasons some of the best comedic content the internet has ever produced, vidya or otherwise.

They're probably not going to get together. Unless HW drastically changed her mind or something. The episode will probably be about exploring the dynamics of their relationship, and then using that as a way of examining Finn's character, like Varmints did for PB. HW could probably help Finn get over his current sadness, given she deals with it herself.

Do you guys think we'll get more on Jake's alien daddy? Or was that whole thing resolved in Abstract? I could see it going either way at this point.

It'll make money because audiences will reason it appeals to their tastes of texting culture and/or it's just a kids movie that doesn't need to be held to any standard. And if this is you, kill yourself. You're gumming up the theaters with junk that could be used to tell real stories with real creativity and not just be a shameless marketing plug.
