I don't normally into Webcomics but this magical girl one is pretty cool, and it's just come back from hiatus. There's only two chapters so far but it's starting chapter 3, if you wanna read it start from the link above because the page on the website ruins a few twists.

So yeah, anyone else reading this?

I am, I suppose. Though since it's still a bit new compared to other webcomics I read I haven't gotten into it yet.

It could change though. I've got some hopes, especially after it threw a curveball like killing off three characters. I didn't think it would go that route.
>>
Just read what's up so far, and it looks pretty interesting. I'm a sucker for magical girl shit in general, whatever it's the usual Pretty Cure or stuff like Madoka, so I'm definitely going to check back for the next update.

Yeah, and it looks like pink is out of action too so blue's going to have to make a new team or something.

OK everyone agrees that Batman has no problem with beating people up, even crippling them. So why doesn't he hamstring the Joker? Why not bust his spine so he can no longer walk? Why not do that to every villain he comes across so he never has to deal with them again? Sure there are ways to get your ability to walk back, but every villain and thug? I doubt they will be able to do it.

So what's the deal /co/? Was this ever explained or is this one of those things writers don/t want to do because they will lose money?

The Joker has a healing factor now.

Also, comics. They'll find ways to heal from life-crippling injuries. See: Barbara Gordon.

If you didn't know, which is rather probable, Goodreads just released their Best Books of 2015 winners, based on user voting. This ought to be interesting subject to talk about, as Goodreads is pretty good indicator to what genuine casuals think of comics, rather than the usual hardcore Big Two supporters and, well, /co/. So let's see what the top20 looks like, shall we?

>1. Saga volume 4 by Brian K. Vaughan - 18,578 votes
>2. Nimona by Noelle Stevenson - 17,471 votes
>3. Attack on Titan, Vol. 15 by Hajime Isayama - 13,751 votes
>4. Ms. Marvel, Vol. 2: Generation Why by G. Willow Wilson - 12,029 votes
>5. Thor, Vol. 1: The Goddess of Thunder by Jason Aaron - 10,046 votes
>6. Lumberjanes, Vol. 1: Beware the Kitten Holy by Noelle Stevenson - 8,529 votes
>7. Sunstone Vol.1 by Stjepan Šejić - 7,898 votes
>8. Step Aside, Pops: A Hark! a Vagrant Collection by Kate Beaton - 7,453 votes
>9. The Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage: The (Mostly) True Story of the First Computer by Sydney Padua - 6,050 votes
>10. Hawkeye, Vol. 4: Rio Bravo by Matt Fraction - 4,555 votes
>11. Rat Queens, Vol. 2: The Far Reaching Tentacles of N'rygoth by Kurtis J. Wiebe - 2,383 votes
>12. Sex Criminals, Vol. 2: Two Worlds, One Cop by Matt Fraction - 2,356 votes
>13. The Sandman: Overture by Neil Gaiman - 2,001 votes
>14. Username: Evie by Joe Sugg - 1,980 votes
>15. The Wicked + The Divine, Vol. 2: Fandemonium by Kieron Gillen - 1,939 votes
>16. Soppy: A Love Story by Philippa Rice - 1,833 votes
>17. The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Vol. 1: Squirrel Power by Ryan North - 1,537 votes
>18. Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson1,238 votes
>19. March: Book Two by John Robert Lewis - 1,229 votes
>20. The Sculptor by Scott McCloud - 1,001 votes

For those who like data, a total of 124,471 votes was cast. The top20 consists of the books that survived the initial nomination process, so this is only a popularity contest for the remaining twenty nominees. It's still a decent list to see what people have read and what they like.

IMO, the list is very good confirmation of the current trend with comics: social media darlings, specifically ones promoted on specific comic platforms dominate the list, graphic novels like March and the Sculptor for example were often heralded at places like Panels.net and its immediate affliates. There's also several old favorites still appearing on this year's list: Sex Criminals, Rat Queens, Ms. Marvel, Saga and Attack on Titan all did quite well again this year, Ms. Marvel in particular rose considerably in the ranks from 2014 when it didn't make it to the top10. Also worth noting that Saga only got slightly more votes than last year, going from 17,964 votes to 18,578, and in 2014 it was placed 2nd, after Leaves on the Wind, a Serenity mini series which got nearly 22k in votes.

So, thoughts? Egregious absences in the form of certain books not making the top list? Rage that Squirrel Girl did so well? Surprise that /co/s favorite BDSM smut made it to the top ten? General indifference?

Evening /co/

So I had just watched the Planet Hulk movie and absolutely loved it. I'm pretty unaware of what animated films Marvel has released, if they are out there and any where near as good as Planet Hulk I'd really like to find them.

I've seen almost all of the animated movies DC has out, and I love them. The only few that I didn't really get that into were Superman vs. The elite, Son of Batman 2: Owls everywhere (or whatever it's called) and Superman+Batman: Apokolypse. They all had their moments but just weren't very good all around.

I guess what I'm asking is if you guys could recommend any animated films by Marvel. Do they have as many as DC? and are there any you think I would enjoy as much as Planet Hulk or the DC films?

Thank you in advance
