Thoughts on a series that had nothing to do with the movie?
>>77949451
as a fun action cartoon, it was pretty great. Basically if you took out the primary goofenders (the broomheaded chick with the extra chromosome and the chameleon guy trying very hard to be the genie but failing to be anything but irritating) it would be perfect. Just that right amount of 'this kicks enough ass that we don't care if the premise seems silly on its own'
i also seem to remember an episode where mullet-michelangelo and brad garrett duck were having a chat about how one cartoon dog can be anthropomorphic and another a regular dog, and concluded that it was no stranger than themselves resembling the ducks on earth but being closer in most ways to humans. Except the way they said it was retarded. But whatever, they shot glowing pucks at bad guys. They had awesome armor and machines and shit. it was a good time.
>>77949451It had Tim Curry, Tony Jay, Clancy Brown, and Frank Welker as primary villains. 10/10
>>77950582
yeah that always hit me too. as a kid i was like "oh man it's that one badguy that's always the bad guy.. oh dude there's the other. oh shit there's that OTHER one. jesus it's all of them"
Lex Motherfucking Luthor one of the greatest capeshit villains of all time is now a gay meme joke.
Bravo DC.
Everything will become a gay meme joke anon. Even you.
>>77949132
/co/, one of the greatest boards, is now a place for shitposting about live-action movies and tv shows.
Bravo mods.
>>77949132
That's always been the Joker. Lex has been mediocre in all of his live-action appearances.
What does /co/ think of Grant Morrison's bat epic as a whole?
From Son of the Batman to Batman Inc.
Should I read it?
>>77948492
>What does /co/ think of Grant Morrison's bat epic as a whole?
There's more than one person on /co/, some like it, some don't, same as everything else.
>Should I read it?
If you want to read it, go for it. If you don't, then don't. Can't you make your own decisions?
>>77948634
terrible post.
/co/ for discussion you dummy.
Anon if you accept that at one point Batman was having crazy Sci-Fi adventures and want to experience some of them, then go right ahead. But if you just like your batman super serious and Frank Millery than you probably won't like it.
Does a time traveling spy organization running Batman sound interesting to you? If so read it, if not, oh well I'll just have to enjoy it for the both of us.
So in the episode "jack the monks and the ancient master's son" Jack goes back to save the two monks instead of entering the time portal.
But if he went back in time and beat Aku, wouldn't that change the future so that the monks were never in danger anyway?
Someone please rationalize this, because it pissed me off and made no sense.
>>77947829
everyone makes bad decisions
>>77947985
So the explanation is he just fucked up? And even if the monks did die, how many millions would Jack have saved by using the portal?
>>77948035
again everyone makes a bad decision sometimes is really just it
He wouldnt allow the monks to die but didn't think about the long term
he made a quick decision and failed at it
Would /co/ watch a movie about Britain's greatest hero?
Who has movie rights? I only watch quality movies from Marvel.
>>77947774
>quality movies from Marvel.
>quality movies
>from Marvel
I can't physically throw up in my mouth
>>77947774
You don't watch much movies then.
Why do absurd subplots like the sugar pile in Lisa's Rival still amuse while equally-absurd shows like Family Guy are so unfunny?
Is it just nostalgia?
Probably execution. I love absurd subplots in American dad
>>77947687
No it's just because autists hate family guy and whorship simpsons...
> Autistst watching the frank grimes episode of the simspons: Ha ha ha this is so dark but funny blablabla talent and creativity blablabla plot blablabla obviously a good show because most people think that
> Autists watching regular FG episode where a gag is trash ON FUCKING PURPOSE: THIS IS AWFUL ! THIS SHOW ITS THE WORST THING EVER !! everyones hate that so i hate that too ! blablabla characters are dicks blablabla no shipping and serious romance for writing my gay fanfics blablabla is bad because its offensive
Execution. The sugar pile has magnificent bits like the Adam West beekeeper and Homer's "city fathers" speech.
Literally perfect.
literally repost.

>this post will get 200+ replies again by the end of the day
Anthony Russo revealed more about Spider-Man's role in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR at the Comic-Con Experience 2015 in Brazil.
>Spider-Man appears halfway through and is the movie's comic relief for the Registration-sided heroes, alongside Ant-Man for the Registration opposers.
>Spider-Man was always included in the script, and when the deal with Sony Pictures appeared to fall through, they were ordered to craft a new script axing him from the narrative, but things worked out in the end.
Also, never-before-seen footage is gonna air. Expect bootlegs or at least a description.
>>77946774
>never-before-seen footage is gonna air
wat?
>>77946865
They're gonna show new content either today or tomorrow at their panel.
Probably nothing groundbreaking, but new content nevertheless.
>never before seen footage of an unreleased movie
Um...
Or /coc/ thread if that's what you look for in the catalog.

Last weekend's thread:
https://desustorage.org/co/thread/77771340/
Last weekend's thread we talked about:
-What kind of jobs The Collective would do
-Talk about Duet and other alien stuff
-The /aco/lyte Wizard was included among The /Co/smic Ones to replace a more parody centric member
-More of that Erin story
-The Moribund Marquess and The Devout Symphony seem to have caught on to fill the two remaining demon king positions
-Continued progress on the Lovely Ladybug Summer Special
-Flying Brick and Mean Teens (Shade, Melting Point, others) saw some revival of interest, as well as Stretcherous getting mixed up with them
-Chatter about /co/ntainment's G-Squad
-More story ideas about JD/Wells/Theta (their story still needs a name since Trinity isn't cutting it)
The /aco/ counterpart thread >>>/aco/224672
Was thinking on how the Longorias used the same ability differently. Blackstrap uses her for size changing akin to say Ms. Marvel while Stretcherous is more elastic like Elonagted Man or Helen Parr. Thats how i see it anyways.
>>77946746
You talked about a lot of stuff, but how much did you actually DO?
These threads have been just running in place for years.
Does /co/ like Archer?
yes, but like Venture brothers and Doctor McNinja we don't talk about it often
Archer became a parody of itself faster than any show I've seen
>that episode where anon isn't sure if /co/ likes Arthur
But how is setting up a fight between superheroes (that I'm assuming he's got like a fanduel running or something and plans to make bank regardless of outcome) going to play into a real estate scheme?
>>77946312
>heroes fight
>1/3 of the city is levelled
>LAND
Compare that office with the lobby of the LexCorp building and just TRY and tell me that Lex's manic enthusiasm from the trailer isn't just a facade for the public
>>77946312
Is he really going for another real estate scheme?
"Serious and gritty" and "fun and lighthearted" superhero movies coexisted in the early 2000's, how come it seems impossible now?
>Marvel releasing fun and lighthearted movies
>DC is doing serious and gritty
I'm not seeing the problem here.
GRIT IS THE FUTURE, KEVIN, NOT FUN
FUN NO LONGER MATTERS
>>77946165
But BvS seems over-the-top and CW feels down-to-Earth.
>Disney buys DC
>opportunity to make movies where the universes are mixed
What would you like to see? Green Lantern helping out on Asgard? Batman teaming up with Captain America? Superman trying to defeat Dr. Doom?
Just give me a Pixar Billy Batson movie
>>77946103
>Superman trying to defeat Dr. Doom?
>Superman
>trying
Go to corner and think about your actions.
>>77946103
None of this I fucking hate the thought of DC and Marvel combining. Keep the Marvel shit out of my DeCent stuff.
OK folks, guy who made the translation for Spirou le Journal d'un Ingenu (and others Asterix, Sonic, Lucky Luke, Bluesberry, etc. dump), I'm finishing my translation right now for DELIRIUS, by Philippe Druillet.
BUT it need some english proofreading, because there is still probably a LOT of gramatical errors, engrish, bad translation, etc.
So I need your help, here we go. Any suggestions and notes are welcome.
It was a real bitch to translate.
What went wrong?
>>77945668
Season 1 is Romantic Comedy shit
Season 2 is Literally Forgetable
Season 4 Got a Shit Villain
Only season 3 was good, but the Villain is defeated too fast.
>>77945923
and even then, season 3 by itself wasn't that good. It was just better than the rest of the seasons which wasn't a tall order to begin with.
It was all telling with no showing.
