Why hasn't there existed anyone yet who could create power armor on the level of Tony Stark yet?
Is TS really the best power armor designer that could possibly exist?
Doom's armor is superior. Also the way Tony designs his armors doesn't really have to take all the horrible shit from 40k into account.
I suppose Doom doesn't exist in your universe?
>>78098552
>>78098547
Doom's armor has always been considered inferior considering it doesn't even require TS to defeat, it only requires the F4
Imagine a world where the X-men movies were actually based off the comics.
Yeah. That would be pretty boring, huh.
>>78098401
Why is Alex Ross so shit?
>>78098416
Yeah, Claremont's 18 year run showed that no one really liked X-men.
ITT: Characters you would kill the worst way possible
>AHAHHA LOOK GUYS I MADE THAT THREAD AGAIN ;) AREN'T I SO ANNOYING? HEHEHE
>>78098304
Thanks for the attention. I will be sure to post again.

You would not survive the attempt.
There's way too many ostriches.
Why are there so many ostriches?
The brochure said there would only be a few ostriches.
This is a terrible vacation.

>DKIII #1 beat the likes of Secret Wars, Star Wars, and X-Men while it is the only DC entry in the top 10 comics
>Sandman Overture Deluxe Edition, also the only DC entry in the top 10 GNs and TPs, topped that list
>but Marvel wins again in market shares
>and Image underperforms in collected edition sales
Jesus Christ.
>EXM beats ANAD Avengers
Even if its just by one spot, lol suck it.
>>78097950
There's honestly nothing surprising here.
>Marvel will never stop whoring out events and relaunches
They even inflated all the #1 prices and nobody batted an eye, how transparently must they rape retailer wallets before enough is enough?
Doesn't seem to be one in the catalog so here we go.
I said in the previous thread I wouldn't post any more photos but it's 3am and I can't sleep, so i did some rearranging.

how are those walking dead books? are they easy to read? been thinking into getting into it, though the size of the book seemed quite too big,
also, is jojo any good?
>>78097954
They are alright. I've learnt that they are the best way to read Kirkman given how long his series go for with no end in sight. They are as easy to read as any other omnibus/compendium/whatever. Just heavy if held for long periods of time.
Jojo's quality comes down to personal taste. I think they are great but not everyone is a fan of posing, onomatopoeia and music inspired names.
>>78097908
>Those Judge Dredd spines
I'm not even a fan of that series and it's triggering me.
I've read all of the ANAD Marvel (turns out I like to suffers). This is the only correct rating of the books.

>Mutantkind is an endangered species once more. But what better way to ensure your people see the future…than to skip ahead right to it? As the mutant race’s last hope is jettisoned into the time stream, the Extraordinary X-Men make a startling discovery: the fate of their kind is about to fall into the hands of one of their most formidable adversaries — the immortal APOCALYPSE. Now, the X-Men race into a perilous future, desperate to reclaim what was taken from them…and completely unaware of the horrors that await them.

This show. Holy shit.
Clay is the biggest victim of the series.
>>78097885
Well, im not so sure. Clay is a huge asshole, but at the same time the writing really shows you how broken he is, the result of his upbringing and honestly most of his bad choices. His insecurities are really what destroy him. Some of the shit he does though is completely unforgivable.
>>78097963
All of them are broken people.

http://www.avclub.com/article/our-favorite-ongoing-and-serial-comics-2015-229119
So, the A.V. Club put up a list of their favorite ongoing and serial comics yesterday. Curious what y'all think of it. (It's alphabetical, not ranked, fwiw)
I clearly fucked up bad not getting that Frontier issue. Omega Men!
Solid list, no real complaints about the stuff on it. I'd add Vision and Paper Girls but I can accept the excuse of not enough issues
>Fresh Romance
>Kate Leth's travesty
>Squirrel Girl
Are you fucking kidding me? Those are comics of the year? Not, oh I don't know, certain Green Lantern tie-in to Darkseid War?

discussing comicbook movies 4 years before release
>Disney Interactive and Marvel Entertainment today announced that a new turn-based team role-playing game Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2, the 3D visually-enhanced mobile sequel to the smash hit social game Marvel: Avengers Alliance, will be launching soon in limited beta testing in select countries. In Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2, players will assemble a team of Marvel Super Heroes to battle Ultron, Baron Strucker, and more.
>Since its launch over three years ago, the original Marvel: Avengers Alliance has become the most successful Disney-published social game with nearly 70 million players and over 100 Super Heroes and Super Villains for players to collect and nearly 1600 different combat situations to battle through, including PVP Tournaments and Incursions.
>In this original storyline for Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2, pieces of the planet are disappearing, with entire cities vanishing without a trace. It is a mystery with a single clue: all of the disappearances are at previous sites of Incursions. Villains are taking advantage of the chaos, as well as the massive deposits of Iso-8 left behind by each disappearance. Each player must level up heroes, customize each hero with special abilities and assemble the ultimate team to take into battle.
>Players who pre-register at https://www.MarvelAvengersAlliance2.com prior to launch will be awarded a redemption code for an exclusive Power Cell, which provides the player one of the following randomly selected Guardians of the Galaxy heroes for use in the game: Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Drax, or Groot. The code will be delivered to each player after the game launches and will be usable in-game after the game’s world-wide release. Complete promotion details, terms and conditions are posted at https://www.MarvelAvengersAlliance2.com.

>>78097171
>implying that's not Oblivion
>implying any X or FF characters are going to be in the game
>Assemble a team with the Avengers, Daredevil, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, and other Super Heroes
This is what they want us to believe Marvel is now.
So she's supposed to be a completely unlikable cunt, right? I'm not actually supposed to feel sorry for her?
>>78097105
What's the point of this thread exactly?
Correct.
>>78097126
Celebrated autism.
what do you think of when you think of comics at their absolute pinnacle, when you think of comics which truly make the most out of the medium?
I dunno man. Lots of stuff. Here's a bit from Joseph Lambert's I Will Bite You that I think is really cool
Kevin Huizenga does some really neat stuff
There's so many different ways to look out how you "make the most out of comics".
Not necessarily related to the medium as the previous two examples were, but industry and distribution, some comics have been brilliant at utilizing long term, decades long serialization. Incidences small or large can end up having such a powerful impact over a long time.
Such as Judge Dredd (pic related), or Hellboy (fucking Gruagach).
Though maybe those instances are MEDIUM related and not just distribution related as comics allow for singular creators/creative teams over long periods of time, whereas having the exact same writers, directors, cinematographers, composers, cast and crew making serialized stories over DECADES is so unlikely. Soap operas, or ling running scifi like Doctor Who may have the length, but certainly not the authorial coherence
