For the records Dr Manhattan is overrated and The Silver Surfer is more powerful than him.

They both have bullshit baby magic powers. But the genie is actual magic whereas dr jewyork is supposedly grounded in science.

It's very much a mixed bag. The first two seasons were solid, but season 3 was all over the place in terms of quality, with April being the worst part about this season. Season 4 is looking to continue that trend, but Casey Jones is just godawful this time around. Just the human characters in general are overall worse than the mutants.

More control given to writers and artists and less to editors
Complete obliteration of continuity
A writer/artist combo gets to write and illustrate their story from start to finish, but never being longer than one full calendar year
All crossover/teamup books occupy a separate reality from the solo books
Prequels and sequels to completed books are heavily discouraged
