Math is hard.
>erase all characters and continuity in shared universe
>replace them with other people
>wonder why people don't like them
Nobody actually likes New 52. It was a disaster from the start, and has done more to kill DC than Marvel ever could.
>"B...but they didn't erase the old books!"
No, but they erased those characters. I knew a lot of people whose favorite character was Wally West. He's gone now. Martian Manhunter is completely unrecognizable.
There will be no more stories in the future with the characters people like. Instead we get stories that might as well be from a completely different comic book company.
So please, explain to me why DC thought New 52 was a good idea?

It's a reboot you fucking idiot, it was suppose t Be like this, also, MM ongoing is better than half the shit he was back in the old universe

This reminds me, apparently people where mad like hell at COIE tho
Verdicts on ANAD Marvel?
Too early to assess the numbers but a lot of smaller books are doing quite well (Spider-Gwen, Ms Marvel and Silk)
Whor and Bendis-Ironman are selling well enough that there will not be a change any time soon
Starlord, Angela, Black Knight and Nova will be cancelled in 12
Xbooks doing worse than ever
Inhumans have multiple terrible books for some reason
>Xbooks doing worse than ever
they may not be selling big numbers, but they're still outselling Inhumans despite how much pushing the latter has gotten
>>78922520
>they may not be selling big numbers
Fewer books than usual
Lower numbers
It's sad
> but they're still outselling Inhumans despite how much pushing the latter has gotten
No one at any point bought into the Inhumans push, it was all to transparent

Fuck off shill no one cares. This is now a DC thread.
What's your favorite DCYou ongoing?
This comes out tomorrow, how is this shit going to end?
We know Black Panther and Namor get btfo

Namorfags will commit suicide the moment they read the issue
Say something good about Marvel in its current state
Eh... Black Knight got his book?
Vision is good.
I got nothing else.

>Tieri
Hardly a good thing.
>January saw the release of the best-selling comic book in nearly 20 years in the Direct Market, Marvel's Star Wars #1. British sales and reorders took the comic's sales over a million copies. February saw another Loot Crate variant boosting the sales of a single issue by several hundred thousand copies, giving IDW its first chart-topper in Orphan Black #1, boosted again by Loot Crate's orders. March saw Marvel's Princess Leia #1 leading the market in a weaker month for graphic novels. The first quarter closed out up 10% overall.
>April orders set another Diamond Exclusive Era record, assisted by strong graphic novel sales and DC's Convergence launch. May saw strong sales from Marvel's Secret Wars event launch — and more distortion in the sales charts from Loot Crate, with Bravest Warriors taking second place with half a million copies shipped. The second quarter closed out strongly in June; at $154.32 million in comics and graphic novel orders, it was the strongest quarter to date in the Diamond Exclusive Era.
>In part because of lower new release volume, sales in July slipped for the first month year-over-year since May of 2014. August saw sales increases, mostly on the graphic novel side. New comics sales slumped considerably in September, but graphic novels remained positive.
>The Marvel relaunch drove sales in October, but many fewer products were released than had been issued in the previous October. DC scored a major win with the third Dark Knight series launch in November. December finished the year off very strong, with a month that was up 22% overall.
>The end result was a year that was up 7.17% overall, with comics outperforming graphic novels, although both categories were up. Diamond sold 98 million comic books in the year, up from 92 million.

Can someone please explain to me Batman and Joker's relationship?
I've only played Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.Yes, i know i should read some comics, but i still have to get my hands on them
I just can't make sense of how they were able to make Batman and Joker identify with themselves, I mean they're both different in so many ways how can they even 'understand' each other?
Yes, they're in love.
>>78920877
>Can someone please explain to me Batman and Joker's relationship?
In the comics they're in love but divorced.
They recognize in each other the exact opposite of themselves. Order and Chaos, Yin and Yang. They coexist as forces of nature, rather than men, they are immortal ideas.
Who are co's favorite characters who enjoy the best of both worlds? Rik? Psylocke? Constantine? Wonder Woman? Hercules? Every woman written by Claremont?
Harley and Ivy!
Maggie is pretty prominent comics bisexual, I mean I'm pretty sure Fantagraphics has used her and Hopey as mascots from time to time.
>>78920820
Hopey is my forever dykefu
How the fuck does someone burn a shake? That was a real oversite on the writer's part.

The guy who can see everything in the future? He's an Inhuman named Homer. I shit you not. No code name, no Inhuman moniker, just Homer.
Homer helps the heroes beat some big bad and Captain Marvel takes the opportunity to start using Homer to solve future crimes.
OFF PANEL, both War Machine and She Hulk die fighting Thanos as Carol learned he was landing on Earth to try to get the Cosmic Cube again thanks to Homer.
Tony swears revenge on Carol for getting Rhodey killed, while Jennifer lies dying on a table, her last words urging Danvers to keep using Homer to look into the future, even though she's, you know, dying.

Aaron Douglas has joined the cast of The CW's THE FLASH as The Turtle, "a meta-human who can slow down time itself". According to executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, Cisco and Caitlin have been searching for the Turtle umbeknowst to Barry since the particle accelerator explosion. The character will be featured in the midseason premiere, "Potential Energy", which airs on January 19.

Here's the full synopsis and the stills for the episode.
>JOE AND IRIS GET TO KNOW WALLY — Now that they’ve grown closer, Barry (Grant Gustin) considers telling Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) that he is The Flash. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton) try to get to know Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale), and the team hunts down a meta-human known as "The Turtle" (Aaron Douglas), who can slow time itself.

But the turtle's whole thing is that he's a slow thinking mastermind.

The comic displaying abilities that the show zords never used or what?
>>78917812
Just the fact that the Power Rangers comic will be better than the show could ever be.
>>78917800
Looks significantly less ridiculous as a comic.
FUCK YOU AND DIE MARVEL!
They tuned a obscured but well liked character into a prostitute just so they can flat out say sexualized dark toned female characters from the 90s are gone and never coming back and that they were the equivalent of prostitutes and those that still like them are basically men that use prostitutes.
BURN IT THE FUCK DOWN!
THEY HAVE CROSSED THE FUCKING LINE!
