This stuff's always good for a laugh, but surreal humor and absurdity wears out its welcome fast. There are a few that get me every time, though
>>80489553
The series was near perfect until this episode. Still pretty damn great overall, but this episode and afterwards felt stretched out a tad.
What say you, /co/?
/co/ doesn't like it because of BBC
>>80489297
>near perfect
>pretty damn great
Why does this board have such unbelievably low standards and no taste whatsoever?
>>80489297
They overextended the "Jessica is incompetent and everyone knows she's incompetent" thing way too far, till the point it reached absurdity in the middle of the season when she had Killgrave trapped.
By that point, the call for Jessica to get her shit together eventually got drowned out with hoping that she would just step aside and let anyone else handle it, and when your main character is so dumb you wish someone with half a brain was handling the show, you've officially crossed the "Flawed character" threshold into full on "Terrible character".
Understandably, it's a thin line between "Isn't super competent" and "Isn't useless", but when you have such terrible writing and such a contrived and plothole ridden escape in the middle, something your entire show hinges upon just to continue, it would be a stretch to let it pass, just to be gifted with yet another 'Jessica catches him then he escapes" a scant few episodes later.
The fact she never got any better, never advanced her character, never got around the first impulse of 'Kill the guy' was a travesty. A whole show spent trying her very best to bring him to real justice, and in the end, she fails, and yet everyone in the show treats it like it was a success.
This could have been so much more.
Where we wait for patreanon to deliver us the next shitty DOA strip

i like turtles
>>80486924
I hate the art-style.
It is too AMERICAN anime.
>>80486964
do you hate anime in general? because i get excited when american artists add some anime flare to their workexcept for ugly shit like Ben 10
>>80486924
IDW may be best turtles.
>>80486964
I liked Santolouco when he was taking a bit from the Nick Turtles, a light touch that added to them. But now that he's drawing so much from Campbell they're looking too cutesy for the serious tone of the book.
If I recall, Secret History of the Foot was the perfect combo.
Fuck you you people and your shittaste, i love these new general mills commercials.

>>80486752
I think the animation was too...fluid?, it kinda made me sick.
>>80489200
because there was no sense of weight and it was all just squirming instead of animation that adheres to some kind of physics
>>80486752
Jesus Christ, why does every cartoon nowdays have rainbows and pixels shoved into for no reason?
IRON SPIDER SUIT CONFIRMED FOR CIVIL WAR
>https://www.yahoo.com/news/e8609075-6495-3c20-97e2-4e8d1f77453f/ss_captain-america%3A-civil-war.html?nhp=1
>>80486707
It was confirmed that Spider-Man's suit will be mainly special effects/cgi. What else could it be. They wouldnt do some stupid shit like eyes. FINALLY ditching the red and blue. Im fucking hyped
>>80486707
Lies, nowhere in the videos do the Russos reveal that.
They just say Tom Holland is good and the suit has CGI.
>>80486800
>They wouldnt do some stupid shit like eyes.
Looked great with Deadpool.
Holy shit. It took me to the end of the 4th season but I just realized Hank fucked his best friend's mom who masqueraded as his sister his entire life while his grandma pretended to be his real mom.
Thanks Anon, really needed that refresher.
>>80486320
Yes, it took you till the end of the fourth season to figure out what was explicitly spelled out towards the end of the fourth season.
>>80486320
rusty should have stayed with her. goddamn hatchetfaced waitress trailertrash bitch not letting her daughter marry some rich guy
Goddamnit ECCC.
>>80486303
The comic wasn't very good. It was alright. I liked that the girl was kinda skinny rather than a bombshell, but it left much to be desired.
>>80486303
Huh, I was about to make a thread about this comic. I agree with >>80486947, it's somewhat interesting and it has Leandro Fernandez but... meh.
So yeah, some girl in a loveless marriage gets drawn into an affair, and has a fantasy where a big hairy beast ravishes her, and then transforms into a monster thing while fucking they guy who has also transformed, and he's like a wizard or something.
The cover was the best part.
>Men
What did she mean by this?
>>80486148
Adult males.
I think it means she's entirely in approval of what the given men are doing and would gladly service them in sexual techniques known only to her people if only they would rudely order her to.
>>80486160
Favorite story?
Favorite ring/corps?
Who's You're favorite character?
What would be the first you'd do if you had a lantern ring?
How effay would you dress if you got your ring?
Also was there ever a green lantern that found/got a ring even though he was very lazy or not really willing to do anything?
>>80486129
>How effay would you dress if you got your ring?
I'm a big fan of Alan Scott's principle of "I'll wear a costume so ridiculous that everyone will remember it and not what I actually look like with a domino mask on."
I'm just a big fan of Alan Scott in general. I like how Abnett's gotten his New 52 character back down with the "CEO trying to manage the weight of the world" that Robinson set up originally, but god damn I miss old fart Alan too.
>>80486129
Also what finger would wear your ring on?
>>80486129
Hey /co/, tell me. You hated GL the movie but why?
>>80485178
they aren't.
Yumi is mine.
>>80485249
Good, Ami is mine
Which origin would you use to turn someone around who thinks superman is boring and shit?
>>80484185
Neal Adams current comic
American Alien
>>80484185
If they cannot appreciate the character, it is not worth trying.
People will believe what they want to. It all come down to their ideals.
