Is this shit? Like, NO ONE ever fuckin talks about it and it's obvious there is always discussion about other Pixar films.
For the time though it got good reception.
>>80565019
Wall-E was great. I don't think there's much to be said about it, for that reason. It's hard to have a regular thread where we all sit around and agree that this movie was awesome.
>>80565354
This. /co/ can't discuss something unless 40% of /co/ thinks it's shit. Wall-E is generally considered one of Pixar's best movies, if not it's BEST movie.
>>80565977
I wouldn't say it's best, but certainly its most widely appealing. Without dialogue, Wall-E's adorable nature is a lot more open to appeal and interpretation than, say, Mr. Incredible or Carl Fredrickssen. Those *are* good characters, to be clear- they're Pixar protagonists, ffs- but Wall-E is essentially only one or two rungs over a sci-fi version of cute cat videos online.
And everyone fucking loves cat videos. Ubiquitous, across cultures.
Let's be honest, they're both Mary-Sues. The difference is for some reason or another people are okay with Batman being a Mary-Sue. I'm guessing because of the whole relatable factor due to being human.
Let's be honest.
Shut up
>>80564533
Such anger. Does the truth bother you.
>>80564533
It's true, though.
>sold his family's engineering company through 3 generations to make comics
Is he the epitome of manchildness?
>>80563955
He's actually successful, so no.
>>80563955
I think Kim Thompson did something similar wit his inheritance to start up Fantagraphics and keep it afloat.
>>80563955
You made the exact same thread with the exact same words and image several time over years.
I'm on to you, nigga.
Recent episodes have been gold, what's going on?
>>80563733
>Family Guy has been so unwatchably shit for years that when they put out one boring/forgettable episode it's considered "gold"
What a shame.
OP here. Just hanging out with my bros! A-rooty ,toot, toot!
>>80563837
Simpsons did it.
http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/millar-immonens-empress-film-casts-mystery-actress
Looks like the movie is greenlit already and even has it's star actress casted! Who do you think it is?
For some reason I'm getting an Anne Hathaway vibe from her.
Liz Gillies?
THE COMIC ISN'T EVEN FUCKING OUT
GODDAMMIT MILLAR
>>80563451
That's absolutely Anne Hathaway, they're not even trying to hide it. This is "incognito from the paparazzi" levels of bad hiding.
Can we talk about how awesome 1980's industrialist defense contractor Hank Pym is?
>dat Porche
>dat gold watch
>dat 1980's shoulder pad three piece power suit
>dat aggressive unstable paranoid old man personality
Old man Hank is fucking awesome
I still want a prequel titled "Antman and Wasp: Tales to Astonish" with Hank and Jan during their blacktop shield days, but yeah Pym Douglas was sooooo much better than I could have hoped for.
>>80563311
I'm probably considered to be a Pymfag and was worried that they basically shafted my favorite Ant, but he turned out to be really great, even if he wasn't the one under the suit for most of the movie.
Pretty good casting too, I'd say.
Loved him. Working on an old man Pym costume for a convention. Can't fucking wait to just be belligerent to everyone and pretend to punch them.
Just finished watching Jessica Jones. It was nice but the end was a bit disappointing
Your thoughts /co/?
>>80562244
God tier villain though
>>80562244
Garbage. Acting was shit, forced lesbian drama (Carrie Anne Moss' character was a straight white man in the comic) JJ was horribly, HORRIBLY miscast, and Tenant just acted circles around everyone the entire time. It felt more like a platform for political grandstanding than something like Daredevil, which was just a darker street level superhero show.
Oh and of course, let's not forget.
>We need to kill him!
>No we can't kill him!
>Kilgrave escapes, random person or forced gay couple dies.
>Omg we have to stop him!
Infuriating.
>>80562388
Get some fucking standards, if that piece of shit is your definition of a "God tier villain"
http://www.cnbc.com/2016/03/08/lurid-suit-over-hate-mail-embroils-isaac-perlmutter-marvel-chief.html
>Scandals in Palm Beach, Fla., are as much a part of the landscape as Lilly Pulitzer and plastic surgery. In recent years, the wealthy enclave has been rocked by the Bernard L. Madoff Ponzi scheme and the Jeffrey Epstein underage-sex lawsuit, to name just two.
>Now you can add a bizarre litigation involving Isaac Perlmutter, the enigmatic billionaire chief executive of the Marvel Entertainment unit of the Walt Disney Company.
>Befitting a Palm Beach imbroglio, the dispute began over a local tennis pro. Now, at least three lawsuits later, a neighbor of Mr. Perlmutter has accused him and his wife of sending slanderous letters, unsigned, that say the neighbor "sexually assaulted" an 11-year-old "at knife-point" and murdered a local couple.
>The hate-mail campaign, which included more than a thousand letters sent to the neighbor's friends and business associates, is said to be part of an effort by Mr. Perlmutter to pressure the neighbor, Harold Peerenboom, to leave the gated community where they both own homes. One of the letters started, "Today I write you to warn you about Harold Peerenboom of 8 Sloans Curve Road who is a sexual predator."
Well, this likely won't bode well for Marvel. On the bright side, if this goes to court then we might finally have pictures of Perlmutter that aren't from 1985.
Marvel Method, everybody!
Whatever, he'll resign with a golden parachute. Won't effect a god damn thing.
Rich people.
>you will never be a billionaire who chooses to bully a pedo
why even live?
The side who has the waifu will win.
>>80562066
>wanting waifu involved in event shit
You're a terrible husbando and your waifu a shit
>>80562179
Kitty is shit waifu and writers who are waifuing her are also shit.
>>80562179
He means kitty pryde aka Bendis's waifu. Who she sides with will win
Who the hell is she playing?
Barbara Gordon
>B- But Snyder said she's not Batgirl!
Yeah, and Lois Lane isn't Superwoman. Amy Adams is still playing her.
Plus, NOTHING they say can be taken at face value. You people should know this by now
>>80560811
OC robin/catwoman, like Nolan did with Robin in Rises
>>80560811
apparently a very violent and foul-mouthed person since she's only in the r-rated edition
The Russos said both Baron Zemo and Everett Ross have minor roles to set up "a future film". Ross is pretty much confirmed for BLACK PANTHER, and with the heavy focus on the character in CIVIL WAR, how do you feel about the possibility of Zemo being the main villain of BLACK PANTHER?
Avengers: Masters of Evil
Should have fucking kept Strucker alive. His actor was much more intimidating then this faggot.
But Noooo Joss had to turn him into a coward joke.
>>80560594
We're getting a Thunderbolts movie, mark my words.
That's why Marvel is pushing them in the comics right now.
Anyone remember The Three Friends & Jerry?
>>80560429
Love the show, use to watch it on ABC Family.
>>80560429
i only remembered that mom of one of them was reading kafka once and is appeared to me as so edgy, because as a kid i thought kafka's shit was really dark shit (it's just a bit dark desu)
>>80560429
So was this little shit a reference to that show or something?
Dunno if we had a thread about this before, I haven't been here for a loooonnng time but it's pretty important...Alvin Buenaventura, publisher of Buenaventura Press and latterly Pigeon Press, was found dead a couple of weeks back. He put out some milestones in modern "art" comics, not least the big Kramers Ergot 7 he's pictured with and of course Kramers 4. He published Lisa Hanawalt's first pro books, took over the great Comic Art magazine and edited The Believer comics page. And Boys Club too featuring our favourite Pepe...Pigeon Press put out some great stuff too; all in all a sad loss.
Then last week I see that Sparkplug Comics
have stopped publishing and are unloading their catalogue to Wow! Cool...what the fuck, /co/? Do any of you give a fuck about this shit? Tim Hensley posted pics of the galleys of his Alfred Hitchcock book that was to be put out by Pigeon, it looks amazing and if that fails to see the light of day I for one will be gutted...
literally who
and literally who cares
not enough people here care about good comics to discuss this. case in point >>80559554
but boy howdy if you were discussing how the sjws are ruining cape comics you'd have yourself a heck of a thread, OP.
Isn't the whole point of independently-produced comics is to have loose ties with interchangeable publishers?
So is James gay or does his SJW respect not extend to men?
>>80559064
>>80559064
op can i ask you a question?
>>80559073
wait...wait what the fuck has happened in this comic?
Hayley returned in red dress in the last episode.
Also, post girls in red dress.
>>80558024
AAAAAWWWW YYYYEEEEAAAAHHHH
>>80558024
I want one of those fake Stan chins.
