>only good run was his early Spider-Man
>constantly tries to take credit for the work of other writers

>tries to reinvent characters in hopes of being remembered as important

I can kinda tell what OP meant. People often consider early Ultimate Spider-Man to be Bendis's definitive work, outside of Alias. Same for Lee, outside of Fantastic Four.
The only Superman story I've read is Death of Supermanand I really liked it
I have read Year One, Long Halloween, Daek Victory, No Man's Land, and New 52 Court of Owls and Death of the Family and the only one out of these comics that I enjoyed was No Man's Land. Was very dissapointed in Year One after it was hyped up so much, the only enjoyable moment is when Batman went after the cop who shot at the cat.

>liked Death of Superman
Kill yourself.
I still didn't finish Sandman.
First eight issues were pretty good, then the comic gets less and less interesting to me.
I think Mike Carey's Lucifer andMilligan's Hellblazerare superior Vertigo books..
So what comics (specific or from a certain era) would you give a little kid to introduce them to your favorite character?

Marvel adventures Spidey
Spider-man loves Mary-Jane
Then I'd ask him who's best for Spidey
Tiny Titans. It's innocent, features a lot of DC material and it's actually fun to read.
Lots of surprises incoming.

The latest Civil War II teaser depicts Spider-Man (Peter Parker), who will not die in that event because Slott is protective of that character.

Why would we assume he'd die regardless?

Has there been a comic where Deathstroke have been shown to be knocked out easily? Because holy shit, a lot of the fights involving him require his enemies to reduce their intelligence.
It's cause DC wanted him to be The Anti-Batman so they wanked him just as hard.
>>80772680
Back when Deathstroke was trying to be a good guy, he easily got caught by Superman, even with his ninja-commando-like sneaking skills which are supposed to be on par with Batman.
Later, when he's back to being a bad guy, he's taking out the entire Justice League.
>>80772796
He aslo was outclassed by a blind aquaman.
Do you miss it, /co/?
No, it butchered the lore and only left a few memorable characters.

Not really.
I like the world of Avatar, but LoK was just mediocre. The original series or really any good Adventure Shonen is better than LoK

So is this dude like your God?
No, he is a lich
>>80772435
No he's more a vampire lord.
No, hes like some sort of entity that feeds off the lifeforce of those around him
Would it benefit if each book was isolated to its own world. for example Superman's book be its own earth and batman can still appear in his book but he would be the batman from the Supermans earth not connected to the Batman from his book. They could do this across the board that way each book is its own story and does not become convoluted with story's of the whole world. Even to the point of Justice League would be self contained and that is were your big events could happen. You could even kill a character and it would not effect his own title.
What purpose could this possibly serve?
>>80772398
Do you not understand how goddamn confusing that actually was when they tried to do it...
AND THEN PROCEEDED TO HAVE ONE OF THE BIGGEST EVENTS IN THEIR HISTORY TO UNDO ALL THAT MULTIPLE EARTH SHIT
AND THEN TWENTY YEARS LATER UNDO IT IN THE MOST ASS WAY POSSIBLE
God dammit I'm so tired.
Idea that they all need to appear together is absurd to begin with. You toss in all the shit, magic, aliens, pulp science fiction, social science fiction of X-Men and it's just bullshit mix of themes and nonsense.
>people actually despise her

Grant Morrison's Batman is shit
Some things are cool, others are crap. Morrison has strengthened a lot the concept of the "Bat God" capable of everything, also of creating backup personalities which is funny, but frankly over the top.
Still, I'll always be grateful for Dick Batman and Best Robin Damian.
The "Batman never killing" rule is retarded because it implies that killing the Joker would be too edgy, even though we regularly see him murder people, eat their remains, boil their children, rape crippled women, and much worse.
Grant Morrison's Batman is the definitive run.
What went wrong?

TOM CRUISE MAKES AN EXPLOSIVE APPEARANCE IN THE "PREACHER" PILOT

Are you hyped yet, /co/?
>In the premiere, an unknown force from outer space possess preachers around the world, and eventually makes them blow up, inside out. One of those preachers is Tom Cruise, who appears on a TV screen speaking on behalf of the Church of Scientology in front of a crowd.
