How should the reboot be handled? The 2011 failed for many reasons and it seems like they are trying to hold back GL for as long as possible like not including him in JL right away. What can be done to make a movie work?

So, anyone know anything about this? This show aired way back about 9 years ago on Teletoon in Canada, in between other shows and such. Eventually they stopped showing it and it just faded from memory. I recently saw this DVD in a Salvation Army, which I will divulge was somewhere in Ontario where the show was produced. The box feels kinda cheep, the cover looks printed and the disc label is definitely printed and glued, as it covers the inner translucent ring of the disc. Looks like it was made to pitch the idea of a release? It looks like a really nice bootleg to me, but the DVD itself is properly mastered - legit menus, no channel logos. Bit of a mystery. It was shrink wrapped too, I would have left it closed if there was a market for it, but it doesn't look like another one exists. Any help /co/? I'll post pics in a sec.

Anyways of the 3 minutes of research I've done on this, it doesn't look like the thing had a dvd release. Yeah, it could be some sort of bootleg, or some sort of prototype build that was meant for a full release. I'm no expert on this sort of stuff, but yeah, you should send pics to show how legit it is.
If it does turn out to be some sort of prototype, you have a neat little thing in your hands.

I found this entire series sitting in a bargain bin at the comic shop, I can get it for pennies an issue. But would it be worth bothering?
(Note: I did the same thing for another Eclipse book, Airboy, and actually liked it quite a bit.)

Why do people like the X-Men? To preface, I'm saying this as a very big fan of the X-Men. I was thinking about it the other day, and I can't immediately think of any really, really good runs of Uncanny X-Men outside of Claremont's first. I can think of several exceptionally bad, but no others that are exceptionally good. With that in mind, why are people still fans?

The "Dark Age" of Disney is generally thought to be their movies made in the 80's up to the Renaissance (though some aDlso combine this age with the movies made in the 70's as well, starting as early as 1970's Aristocats, the first movie made after Walt's death
Do you agree with this appellation? Even today, are these still the worst movies Disney's made overall? Is there another period that's more deserving as being called the "Dark Age of Disney" now? Is there any good in them? Do you enjoy any of these films?

I'd say the real "Dark Age" is the Mid-2000's, when we got shit like Home on the Range, Cars, and Chicken Little.

Fox and the Hound is one of my favorite Disney movies, and Great Mouse Detective and Oliver and Company are great too. I've never seen Black Cauldron, so I don't know
These movies didn't make a lot of money, and Disney was under piss poor management then, but that doesn't mean that they produced shit back then
