I loved this series as a kid, after watching it again and I still don't understand why so many people hated it...
What's your opinion?

the suit hurt my eyes

And since Zootopia and technically Spiderman are now property of Disney, wouldn't that just work great?
>>80840292
What?
Spider-man 99 hurt my eyes. But, People somehow like it.

one of em had a distorted voice and was a Kenny red herring IIRC
Any other Canadafags go to see the Little Prince in theaters? I just saw it today. Really liked it. Very emotional movie, got a good cry out of me.
Sorry to hear about amerifats not being able to the movie in theaters due to Paramount backing out. There's essentially two sides to the movie, each with its own distinct visual style. The portions dealing with the Prince's tale have the wonderful stop-motion style you see in the above image, while the framework story about the little girl and the Aviator was a much more generic style of 3D animation, but it was certainly serviceable.
I was surprised by the level of star power in the voice cast. You had Jeff Bridges as the Aviator and Dave Franco, Paul Rudd, Ricky Gervais, Paul Giamatti, etc. in other roles. They all did a great job with making the characters feel authentic (though I'd say the sound mixing guys should be getting a lot of credit for that too). If you're wary about the framework story of the little girl and her mom I'll say that it held up well for me. Though I'd also say there's legitimacy in the criticism that the action filled sequence near the end felt unneeded.
It sucks that it's out there with Zootopia, but I hope you consider seeing it next time you go to the cinema (or if it ever comes out in theaters for Americans). It's well worth the watch. I definitely felt a lot better coming out of it.
>>80839560
I just don't see the point. I've read the book and watched the original movie already. Why would I want to subject myself to shitty CGI when the only part of the movie I give a fuck about is a story I already know.
>>80839560
Any idea if it will be released at least on DVD here in the US?
>>80839625
Well that's up to you. I liked watching a nice new interpretation of the story in the beautiful papercraft art-style. It felt very lovingly made. If you don't think it's worth seeing I'm not going to try and convince you otherwise.
In the movies defence though I wouldn't call the CGI shitty. Generic yes, but it was well executed. Here's a pic of the style for reference.

They're magical creatures and can't be categorized that way.
Well there's only one female in the group, so that implies an egg laying species.

>Photo by Seth Kushner there. Brian Bendis, the writer of the Alias comic that Jessica Jones is adapted from, and who wrote a Daredevil run that has also been rather influential for that show.

>And who, in his Fortune And Glory book, looked like this…
>Basically, if you want it to be a Brian Bendis doll… then it is a Brian Bendis doll….
How would you handle the MCU from this point on if you were put in charge?
>>80837303
Tie it in with the comics and end it with an incursion.
>>80837303
Well, that depends. Do we have the rights to the Fantastic Four back? If so, definitely make Secret Invasion a phase at one point.
Either way...
>Stop killing villains so we can build up to Masters of Evil for an Avengers movie.
>Explore venues for a Marvel Horror imprint leading up to Midnight Sons, whether that means a Netflix set of shows or films. Werewolf by Night, Tomb of Dracula, All New Ghost Rider, Man-Thing, and Son of Satan are all potential series.
>Depending on the success of the above and the continued success of the Defenders, consider a Marvel Western "wave".
>Greenlight a Punisher Netflix series with Barracuda as the villain.
>Greenlight a Moon Knight netflix series.
>Explore options for a Howard the Duck movie or ABC Show. Keep the tone satirical, in line with Gerber's original vision for the character.
>Explore options for Kamala Khan.
>Integrate television and films better. The films SHOULD still be able to stand on their own, but include more open nods to the shows and characters appearing. Shows should, where appropriate, have tie-in episodes to films when something big enough happens.
>Film heroes should have about three movies to themselves before entering semi-retirement to make room for new franchises.
My biggest problem is, where do we go after Infinity War? The Infinity Gauntlet is kinda considered the endgame.
After infinity they should do Heros reborn with new actors and new arcs.

How was KGBeast?
How bad was this? I've been considering watching it out of curiosity.
Also, what would you want from a Fantastic Four movie?
>>80835646
Well, it's kind of okayish. You watch it, it's meh but you watch it and then suddenly there's 'Doom' and it's over. And don't think it's a fantastic four movie, because it's not. It's so fucking hard to find a proper words to describe this thing. It's like a demo version of a movie with no middle act in it, simply unfinished. Kind of feels like you are watching a first and a forth episode of a tv show. It's not that bad if you just want to watch a superhero movie that's not a comic book adaptation. I'd give it a 4/10, but considering it supposed to be a F4 movie, the score is about 2/10
>so bad people don't even want to talk shit about it
Wow. That's a new level.
>>80835646
It's not good, but I recommend watching to understand why it's not good or just form your own opinion. My opinion is that it was just unfinished and could have been really good if they put more effort and time into it.
Did anybody wish they did something more with this title? I was hoping they could of have done a show based of this as a replacement for Ultimate Spider-man. I really wished the team or at least the characters had some mainstream treatment but unfortunately the name Avengers Academy was wasted on that mobile game.
>>80835404
I do.
RIP Mettle.
And the entire rest of the cast except White Tiger is vanished from memory.
>>80836408
Arcade's an asshole.
Were they not being used anymore around the time Marvel NOW came out?
It was an interesting idea but it ended up being a bunch of angsty teenagers hanging around not doing anything. I wish they were given missions or something. I don't care about the Runaways visiting the Academy.

>Speaking to Forbes about "Civil War," co-director Joe Russo was asked about the details of the film's post-credit scene and whether or not Doctor Strange would appear. Russo was vague with his answer, but hinted that the film may have multiple tags after the credits roll: "We can’t say who is going to be in it but we can say that there certainly could be one, or two, maybe three. We can confirm that you should stay sat in your seats when the movie is done."
http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/director-says-captain-america-civil-war-could-have-3-post-credit-scenes
Sounds like one will be Dr. Strange, not surprising. Wonder what the rest will be.
>>80834852
>Three post-credit scenes
Oh boy, like when the Monty Python put the end credits in the middle of the program!
1. A little emotional stinger related to the film like a lighthearted message from Tony to Cap / Cap to Tony from when they were still friends being listened to by whichever one doesn't die
2. Dr. Strange set up
3. Thanos gets up and gets something out of the fridge and says something cryptic and menacing like FINALLY IT IS TIME
