So are we gonna be seeing more of Dadth Maul in S3? I'd love to see him and Ezra play off each other and each bring the other closer to their way of thinking.
>>81310559
He got stoned. He'll be fine.
I am enjoying the fact that they like their goofy helmets as much as the Knights of Ren.
>>81310559
second for kotor is canon
>You've got to smell them, feel them, oh, crack them opennn
Ooh god
>>81235515
>You've got to force them, post them, oh, meme them opennn
It flew real low.
Thoughts on Class of 3000?
I thought it was alright alright alright alright alright, but it wasn't a must-watch for me.

That's a fucking tune and a half, right there.
Is grimdark really that popular nowadays? I mean, look at this shit:
http://www.horrortalk.com/news/6306-so-this-is-hanna-barbera-now.html
I mean, I get wanting to make a property appeal to an older, more mature audience, but this is stuff only a thirteen-year old would find appealing. Hell, I play 40K, one of (if not the most) edgy tryhard settings in existence, and even this is a bit much.
It's just a bad-end elseworlds, there's classic Scooby Doo books still going on if you want them too. Don't be a baby.
Don't be retarded. If the story and plot are interesting, with good pacing, and intriguing character development, who gives a fuck about the tone.
Neither Flintstones or Future Quest are grimdark at all.
Scooby Apocalypse is by the exact same team as Justice League 3000 (with the edition of Lee for designs). It's a humor book. JL3000 got these exact same criticisms.
Wacky Race Lands is trying to cash in on Fury Road.
Is Zod really this fucking pissed in the comics?
He was literally screaming at the top of his lungs every single line with spit coming out of his mouth.
>>81233499
Michael Shannon is just over the top. Why does this matter?
>>81233499
>>81233881
He's the Chris Chan of Krypton.
There have been multiple versions of Zod in the comics.
http://www.cinemablend.com/new/What-Expect-From-Spawn-Movie-According-Todd-McFarlane-112567.html
So the new Spawn movie had its first draft of the script finished awhile ago, and they're apparently trying for the start of shooting sometime this year.
Anyone else think this is gonna be bad?
>>81233465
There's like zero demand for a Spawn movie. Spawn hasn't been popular since the late '90s... McFarlane always talks and talks but rarely delivers; I'm sure even the most hardcore Spawn fans had fallen out of love with the character years ago. Really, as dumb and silly as the 1997 movie is, it's probably the best live action iteration of Spawn that'll be remembered... it was made at the time that Spawn's popularity was fading and tried to congeal and give closure to a half-assed story that never really progressed much up until that point. I'm not saying the film was perfect or even good by any standards, but it'll likely be much more memorable and entertaining than any reboot or other live action incarnation will ever be.
Basically, Spawn had his day in the sun and squandered most of it. His fans have since grown up and likely moved onto other things or have left Spawn in their childhood and teenaged years.
On a personal note, I think the dark and gritty/depressing atmosphere would really only hinder it. We've got plenty of superhero films that are desaturated and have an overly serious and violent tone and theme. What could realistically be done to make Spawn any different from those films?
>>81233465
It's gonna bomb hard
I'm actually excited could be awesome if done right
>>81233849
You're stupid, something doesn't need to already be popular to be succsessful and it definitely doesn't need to be popular to be good.
Dredd wasn't at the hight of the character's popularity when it came out but it's a good movie and it did pretty well financially.
>incursions happening
>multiverse dying
>616 and 1610 destroyed at the same time
>everything reversed to pre-incursions state
>all universes restored
>ultimate universe still dead
Explain this to me.
Most important person from UU survived.

About to read the entirety of Knightfall, from Prelude, to Troika.
What am I in for, /co/?
>>81232580
Kino
>>81232580
Knightfall prelude: decent enough
Knightfall: doesn't hold up well
Knightquest: utter shit
Knightsend: pretty fucking good
Prodigal: boring
Troika: even more boring, but the new costume is sweet

A slog with a few cool moments
>normie friends hyped for Spider-Man in Civil War
>start to do research
>they find 616 Pete's convoluted history
>they want me to explain shit like Spiderverse, OMD and Superior
How do I start?
"Spider-Man is shit and you shouldn't bother with him"
>normie
I'll never understand the desire to insult yourself for taking an interest in something.

>Slott a tard.
Fun episode so how will Supergirl find away to CW Earth?
If Supergirl gets cancelled, she could somehow end up stuck there and take the name Powergirl.
Or just have an Earth 2 dopplegänger that Flash meets; maybe Martian Manhunter exists on Earth 2 as well
>fireman saving the day
>most hilariously bad costume ever
>they never have a proper race
>that one guy at the DEO who's always sitting in front of a PC with a shitty steering wheel controller
Great episode, but that promo is beyond misleading.
His more socialistic (or at the very least, pro-abor) tendencies seem to be more in-line with the youth of today, he has a gruffer personality where he sees an acceptable threshold after which human life can be sacrificed, and his powers are more "realistic" with no flying or special vision.
Would you like to see such a blockbuster? would the world like to see this blockbuster?

Sup /co/ I'm starting to read DC comic books again, but I want opinions. What have been your favorite runs since the big reboot a few years back? what would you consider "must-read"?
If it helps any, I'd consider myself to be a fan of characters in The Flash, Jonah Hex, and a lot of what people might call "B teamers" like Green Arrow etc. Though I will probably read early reboot superman stuff, simply because him finding his way and whatnot sounds interesting enough
Picture tragically unrelated
bampadoo
Prez was a good mini, second half isn't out for a while though
All-Star Western was good, anons say.
Can anyone recommend any comics similar to Arkham Asylum by Mckean and Grant Morrison?
I found it extremely captivating and think the artwork is some of the most interesting work i've seen. Holy shit look at pic related, god damn. I'm not really that much into comics, the only ones i've enjoyed are The Killing Joke and this one, but i want to get more in to it if there's more like this.
If you're after trippy painted comics, Dr. Strange: Into Shamballa is a good one
Batman: Night Cries
>>81230282
Artwork looks cool, but the subject matter doesnt interest me that much. Thanks anyway dude.
