Will /co/ ever be about comics instead of live action ever again?
I don't understand what they can even talk about for so many threads.
>>81441965
Its mostly just copy and paste jobs.
>>81441948
No, this was predictable the moment all the MCU and DCEU movies were announced till 2021
Let's discuss crossovers.
What were the best?
What were the worst?

Batman and tmnt is pretty great so far
Ben10/GenRex was pretty great.
>All those combos
>>81441799
Did the mask ever have an orange Cyclops in it?
I've tried looking it up but can find any answers. Shits driving me fucking nuts.
They established the idea behind what happened if the asteroid didn't hit earth and dinosaur still lives til now. I was expecting anthropomorphic dinosaur kind of story with some unique worldbuilding, but instead they went to safer route to tell a familiar tale about courage and fear.
do you think it'll be more interesting if they didn't go to Lion King/Ice Age route, but instead go to Zootopia route in terms of storytelling?something like Dinotopia perhaps
>dinosaur didn't adopted the whole human family and domesticated humans like we did with dogs
>>81441774
What should've happened was setting it in the space-age, where dinosaurs have technologically evolved to travel the stars through light speed ships and colonize other planets.
Carnivores have their own planets where they farm meat from non-dinosaur animals and herbivores to farm plants and whatnot. Space stations are established in various sectors to promote trade between the two, though relationships are shaky at best.
The hero can be a carnivore, T-Rex maybe, who's a fresh captain of a space ship, specializing in diplomatic relationships and combat with a blaster. He has a mission to establish a meeting with a newly colonized planet, but when he gets there, it's a frozen rock with no life on it. He searches around for any signs of why, but instead runs into the big bad of the movie. Haven't figured out what he'd be, but he has a huge grudge against all dinosaur kind and intends on killing them through one way: freezing them all to death, first small time through asteroid collisions, then moving on to killing stars. Of course, no bodies are shown, gotta keep it PG, but heavy implications that this guy is seriously fucking shit up.
Hero tries to fight him off, but loses spectacularly. Somehow escapes, even finds a survivor and both get away safely on the T-Rex's ship, then he figures he has to build a party to take down the big bad, all which would be various dinosaurs specializing in different fields (like medic, robotic engineer, combat pilot, etc.). Here it becomes somewhat like the 7 Samurai, where the captain goes to various sectors to hire dinosaurs that are the best in the field, sometimes cutting to the villain and his results in progression in finding more efficient ways of freezing planets. Near the end, he discovers how to freeze every single dinosaur planet and station with one decisive explosion, which he prepares to do once the captain's group is finally collected.
tl;dr: I want a space movie with actual dinosaurs in ships
It was so weird.
Them being dinosaurs did not serve the story at all.
And so what if the meteor never hit? Large land mammals (the bison) would never have evolved if dinosaurs were still around.
Is it the best live-action capeshit in the past ten years?
Yes. And I might like it more than anything animated, too.
>>81441498
No. I disagree.
>>81441498
maybe if you're a fan of the source material,
I find it boring at points and a slog with foggy's stuff.
Goodnight sweet prince.

Well, there is at lease one reason to actually want to read 'Dead No More': based Jim Cheung art.
http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/jim-cheung-joins-dan-slott-for-amazing-spider-mans-dead-no-more
That's the only good thing I've heard. Still no Reilly, fucking bull
>The story kicks off in "Amazing Spider-Man" #19 which, along with the return of several long-dead Spider-Man supporting characters, introduces a new villain who threatens to kill them if Peter doesn't do as commanded. Aiding Spider-Man in his adventure are Spidey working alongside Rhino, Lizard, Elektro -- and Doctor Octopus.
So the teaser image is a bunch of bull, apparently.

Satan trips wasted.
Already has a thread: >>81440656
>Dead No More will begin this fall in ASM #19
>Axel Alonso said in his weekly CBR column that there will be a few tie-ins in some Spiderbooks most likely including Spider-Man 2099
>mysterious man in red suit is a brand-new villain
>that arc will last until early 2017

This is going to be neutered as fuck.
There's no way Barbara will be stripped naked. And no way will they have the pictures disaplyed in the horror ride.
>>81440577
I take then that you didn't see the featurette.
Where they show EXACTLY THAT.
>>81440577
Naked, probably not. But that's only because with the violence and such they're already pushing that PG-13 rating. They'd loose money on it if it got upped to rated-R. I think it's the same reason why Jason's body wasn't all bloody and torn up in Under The Red Hood.
>>81440577
Uh-huh...
>>81394568
>This Scottish assholr wrote the best Superman, Batman and now Wonder Woman stories of all time.
Jesus christ why the hell do British writers do such good work on american comics?
Should we all just move to Japan and make god tier Astro Boy comics and Kamen Rider films or something?
>>81440503
ASS is overrated, Batman was uneven and highlighted a lot of Grant's writing flaws, and WW hasn't been released.
That aside, it's because most of those writers didn't grow up with the characters and form opinions on them until they were adults and cut their teeth in a completely different comic industry.
>>81441237
>ASS is overrated, Batman was uneven and highlighted a lot of Grant's writing flaws
Twenty (You).
>>81441266
ASS is a love letter to a specific period of Superman stories, it's like a Greatest Hits album coming from a fictional band. Morrison's own beliefs about Superman, and the stories he's emulating, strip it of tension and Morrison fails to produce any real character drama to compensate. He also fails to grasp the nuance of American tall tales.
Also note that I said overrated, not bad.
Is my big buff cheeto puff kill?
We've all seen the screenshots, are they fake? Would they actually kill a character on screen?
Don't bullshit there is no screen shots
Jasper is unbreakable
Yes, best gem killed her
Have you read this? I just read this.
It was pretty goodup until the end when Boomerang starts pulling out bullshit like Mirage clones, LMDs, and Chameleon face changing serums to get away with everything. It was a little too much inside baseball for me, I felt a little out of my depth as someone who doesn't read a lot of comics.
But for a story that follows a bunch of petty liars, cheats, and thieves, I had a fun time. Beetle a best girl and Shockerfinally got his time to shine.
gonna post covers

Go to bed Spencer.
Hey /co/, remember when villains actually beat the shit out of children.
