Alright /co/, It's time to decide who you think this dermatologically-challenged individual really is.

speaking of Satannish, think we'll ever get MCU Satana?
This is the template, I'll upload my edit later.
Cool thread, OP.
This is something that I've noted many times in Lion Guard thread's, but why don't more cartoons actually use different perspectives? Gumball, which I've cited before, always has the characters standing at a slight turn. You pretty much always see their body and face from the same perspective and it's incredibly rare for them to turn around or for the camera to show them from behind.
The Lion Guard, for all of its faults, shows the characters from every angle possible. They'll routinely switch the angle during some scenes to show what's going on from a different point of view. In this episode, Fuli runs out of energy and gets attacked by vultures. They could have easily kept showing her from the same angle, trying to fend them off, but they also showed her from behind as the vultures began to swarm her. It helped emphasize how defenseless she actually was.
Perspective matters.
I'm just going to go through the angled shots from this one scene alone.
Her POV back up at them.
Because if you showed them head on they would look like this
So this hits this week. Is there even the smallest chance we could have ONE thread out of the hundred that will be posted for actual discussion? Can we have just a single thread with competent moderation and a temporary ban on these words:
>cuck

>SJW
>blacked

Morrison's work usually deserves at least one real discussion.

>>81474548
pretty much yeah
when they booked that date they were probably banking on BvS being much bigger than it turned out
>>81474548
TF4 did a bit less on domestic grounds.
China helped bring the numbers up.
Speaking of Bayformers, they finally hired different writers.
That's not saying much with Bay still directing "for the last time #3", so there's hope for Diana's movie to sell as there's been stagnation and more aware criticism against the long running robot series.
>>81474601
>when they booked that date they were probably banking on BvS being much bigger than it turned out
When they FILMED this movie they were banking on BvS being a success. That's why they've started all these major reshoots.
You have to choose between haveing Superman's Heat Vision or X-ray Vision, which do you choose?
>>81474454
xray. free lotto wins.
>>81474454
Heat
X-ray is probably more useful, but there's something attractive about being able to emit glowing beams of hellfire when pissed off.
Is there any good website for rating comics like IMDB is for movies, Myanimelist/Anidb/Makaupdate is for anime/manga, BGG is for boardgames and Metacritic is for movies?

Of course it is, you sheep.
>"Dad, you're bleeding! I'll get help!"
>"No, Bruce! This city... It needs an example... A tragedy that can alert them to the corruption that is threatening to take over. And you... You need a goal... Something to compel you to fight for Gotham and its people. That's me. I'm more valuable dead than alive. So don't save me, Bruce. Avenge me."
>"If Men's World is in danger, shouldn't we help them?"
>"I've been to Men's World before, Diana. Their savagery, their lust, their ambition, their very nature prevents them from sustaining their existence. Man is an abomination. The gods' greatest mistake. It's a wounded horse that, rather than being allowed to die its natural death, it's being kept alive... Agonizing, withering, craving for rest. It was once our mission to perpretate this. But we've had enough. Enough oftheir depravity, violence and cruelty. We chose to euthanise the human race. We will let them burn themselves to the ground. Maybe the gods can create something worthier off of their ashes."
>"Dad, I promise you, I'll find the man who killed mom and I will prove your innocence."
>"No, Barry. If 20 years in Iron Heights have taught me anything, it is that the true prison, the one you can't escape from, is the one inside your mind. And I've been in prison every day I spent with your mother. I've hated her in secret since before you were born, Barry. Every day I left home, I thought about running and never looking back. I only didn't do it because I couldn't do that to you. But now you're an adult. Now you can walk on your own. Barry, the truth is I've never felt more free. I didn't kill your mother, but I sure am glad she is dead. And that's why I belong here. So my advice to you is... Let it go. Run away. And never look back."
>"When I grow up, I'll be as brave as you, dad!"
>"Brave? I'm not brave, Hal. I'm weak. When I was in Afghanistan, me and my wingman were sent on our F-16s to scout the enemy lines. The insurgents had anti-aircraft weapons, caught us by surprise. His plane was shot down, mine was damaged, but still had enough fight in it. As I circled around, I saw my wingman, my friend. He was signaling me for help. And I could've, Hal. I could've flown down there and grabbed him. But then I thought... "What if?" What if I took another shell and got stranded too? What if I leaked out all my fuel and we couldn't haul ass? What if I got myself shot trying to fly low? Fight or flight, kid. And I didn't fight. I left him there, flew back to the base, tried to gather some men. By the time a specialized team got there, they had already killed him, torn him apart limb by limb, left his head behind as a warning. I couldn't handle it. Couldn't fly anymore, got sent back home. Got to kiss my wife and play with my kids, and he didn't. Every day I spend with you, I feel like I'm on borrowed time. I felt hollow. Then I got an offer to fly a plane, a plane no one had ever flown before. And it clicked. That was it. That could be my way out. That's what I think every time I step on a cockpit. "Maybe this is the day I die. Maybe this is the day I make things right with him". That's why I need to fly, Hal. It's the only time I'm ever free from the guilt. I ain't afraid of dying. I'm afraid of living."
More importantly, why does Steve Dillon still get to do it?

Who do we blame for cartoons getting less and less violent?
Overprotective parents who are afraid their kids are going to start throwing lit sticks of dynamite everywhere.
putting them on TV was a mistake, they should have stopped making cartoons decades ago
Television.
Most of these shorts played in theaters to packed houses of adults.
Then they were relegated to tv as "kids fare".
And here we are.
Is Ed, Edd & Eddy the best Canadian cartoon?
>>81473298
Yes. Anyone who says otherwise is a fucking idiot.

This and Beast Wars.
Everything else great here is Ocean's anime dubs.
>>81473298
Pretty much. It's a real diamond amongst the sea of shit that is Canada's animated television. Even then, Time-Warner were footing the bill for it, so it's not even purely Canadian.
Cannucks just don't understand how to make good cartoons for whatever reason.

How would you rank the 9 live action Batman movies? I say live action because everybody knows Mask of the Phantasm is the best and that wouldn't be fair to include it.
Personally, I'd go this way, from best to worst:
Batman
The Dark Knight
Batman Begins
Batman Returns
The Dark Knight Rises
Batman: The Movie
Batman Forever
Batman v. Superman
Batman and Robin
> The Dark Knight (one of the greatest movies ever made)
> Man of Steel (amazing)
> Batman MOTP = Batman Begins (great)
> TDKReturns Part 1 & 2 (great)
> BVS (great-ish)
> TDKRises (great-ish)
> Batman - Under the Red Hood (very good)
> Batman 89 (good)
> Batman & Mr. Freeze - Sub Zero (good)
> Superman Returns (good-ish)
> Superman 2 (meh)
> Batman Returns = Batman Forever (meh)
> Superman The Movie (very meh)
> Batman & Robin (one of the worst movies ever made)
>>81473125
The Dark Knight
Batman Begins
Batman
Batman & Robin
Batman Returns
Batman Forever
For You
BvS
Haven't watched Batman the Movie. Dead serious on B&R, it's a dumb, fun movie.
The Dark Knight
Batman Begins
BvS (Fuck you, I liked it)
CIA
Batman 89
Batman Returns
The rest are shit.
