How does /co/ feel about the way Hank and Dean have developed as characters over the course of the whole series? Do you think we'll finally reach the point where they finally take over the Venture family operations with Dean being the scientific visionary and Hank being the daredevil adventurer that tests Deans inventions? The show won't truly be the Venture Bros until it's about Hank and Dean fighting a new generation of villains, probably with Triana and Sirena as villains
>>81546266
I don't think Dean's a scientific visionary. He just has more common sense due to how his plights in the last few seasons have caused him to emotionally mature.
It also helps that his guardians, however bad they were at keeping him alive, weren't as needlessly cruel to him as Rusty's were when he was at an impressionable young age.
>>81546411
Dean is totally developing to become an intellectual type.
>>81546439
Wearing a tie doesn't make him intelligent.
Hello, Muddah

Here I am at, Camp Granada...
I remember king of queens making fun of that album as well.

Maaaaarge, I think Bart was caught shoplifting!
Oh god this joke is so dated, but I love it.
Is there an origin story more retarded than a species of super scientists dying out because they lack sufficient functioning rockets?
>>81545874
They were xenophobic
>>81545874
It was against the law
>>81545874
They didn't even die out completely. There are plenty of Kryptonians running around in the comics. In the silver age there were tons of "oh shit hey look new survivors!" stories.
Whats your comic reader of choice /co/?

Seriously tho do you still plan to watch this?
I dropped this like 2 episodes ago when they decided its a Felicity episode and read Felicity saved the day with his lamp-fu
Decided to watch it again to see who died was hoping it was Lance.
Then out of nowhere Felicity still managed to force her way into the story being Laurels dying words.
Thats it for me lads im out.
>>81545494
I stopped watching a while ago, you should too, you'll be better for it.
I read that WB had to prevent the CW from using certain characters in the show because of upcoming movies or projects. Like, certain story lines were cut or re-written due to WB interfering. Ollys kid, Slade, deadshot, suicide squad stuff, Wasnt Blue Beetle hinted early in the series?
>>81545603
That just seems like an opportunity to expand upon Green Arrows own world and his own characters.
I recently rewatched the Phase 2 solo films but one thing I was wondering was how they'll deal with this Mandarin clusterfuck they've created. The one-shot, though fun thanks to Ben Kingsley, also didn't help and makes matters worse
>Here's the Mandarin
>No he's not, this guy is
>No he's not, there's actually a real REAL Mandarin
Seriously who okayed this? Who thought this was a great idea? Will Feige actually introduce some real REAL Mandarin in another IM film (and that's pushing aside how RDJ's contract will be done after Infinity War) or was this just some retarded attempt to soothe the pain for those who hated the twist?
>>81545086
Who cares?
Mandarin's a shitty villain. That's why they dropped him after IM3 and why he's never going to be brought up again.
>>81545086
There isn't really a clusterfuck.
you have two options.
1: it isn't canon to the mcu and was just a fun little short
2: it is canon and theres a real mandarin out there comitting crimes....and probably a bunch of other secretive guys comitting crimes the super heroes are never gonna find out about so it doesnt matter.
>>81545109
I don't really care for him myself. It's just the repeated bait and switch for this one character is so retarded that I ought to wonder how Marvel even thought this was a good idea.
>>81545178
>you have two options.
Fuck, I guess I can just view the short as Ben Kingsley having some fun.
Heathcliff and a raccoon see fish bones.

This is truly the epitome of comedy and storytelling
>>81544469
Thank you Wesley.
No problem
>>81544292
Wesley was the best. The only character I felt bad for.
Reminder that Wesley had it coming.
Is it alright to make movie threads on comic book sources? pic related
I wasn't paying attention to the reaction online around release but I'd like to hear why people don't like it now before Cap 3
>>81544193
Because it was goofy, boring and shit
The writing made me vomit, sequel bait everywhere, boring as fuck. Only think I kinda liked was how big Ultron was
>>81544193
It was just very mediocre in many regards.
Ultron's motives aren't really fleshed out and what is there is cliche. Vision is quite literally a deus ex machina and isn't really important within the context of the movie but has the last exchange with Ultron.
Unlike many others here, I actually liked the way Ultron was portrayed but there were plenty of times, like many other MCU films, where a moment of comedy ruined what was otherwise a solemn or dramatic moment. QS's death wasn't very emotional because they barely built him up at all. The CGI and action sequences were pretty forgettable except for the moments that were milked for the trailers. The several subplots like Hawkeye having a family, BW's past and her relationship with Hulk, and the infamous Thor ragnarok ad in the middle of the movie all detract from the main storyline.
You just don't really feel like anything is at risk. It's played out as generic as it can be. It's still a fun watch, but there is no substance to go back for a second viewing.
>implyingshe's dead
>implyingshe didn't fake her deathwhen the camera zoomed out
>implying the writers aren't filthy liars
>implying all these"leaks"haven't been deliberate as fuck
I mean Jesus Christ, this is the lowest quality of bait. You've all been so triggered byOlicitythat you actually bought such an obvious fake out. If anyonediesit'snot-Zannasinceshe never reached Laurel.
>>81544138
I'll honestly be okay with being wrong if she is alive. But a the same time, despite it pissing me the fuck off, I was glad I now have a valid reason to abandon this shit show.
We'll see.
>>81545061
It's just... at every turn over the past few years they've said things about where the show was going to go, and how things would turn out, and they've been flat out liars.
Remember when S3 was promised to be "fun" and we'd see "Happy Ollie"?
>>81544138
It don't matter. This show has been shit since episode 1 season 1 and people are just now coming around to realizing that shit.

What did /co/ think of him as Sinestro? Yeah the movie was shit, but I thought he was one of the few good things in the movie. I'm actually pretty mad we'll never see him play Sinestro on the big screen again.
