They got stale, they declined, like a lot of shows that get a few seasons in.

Season 7 looks like it might be getting back to being decent, but I'll hold judgement for now.

Well, Maurice was all for them getting together early on in the movie if I'm remembering right so it isn't hard to imagine him being happy to ask Belle to give Gaston a shot.

It would probably be pretty much the same, just with less him having to deal with his temper and more him having to learn that being smart is sexy (At least for Belle)

Not hard to imagine her being curious though once she realizes he's not a complete plank of wood.

Also works totally fine, both characters take themselves seriously to start with until Belle cracks the shell.

It pretty much boils down to opportunity, Beast had her imprisoned in his rape dungeon, Gaston didn't (Not for lack of trying)

This is actually the only thing on that list that truly pisses me off
The rest are completely her prerogative to do with as she wishes. She is the CEO of the company and its her job to maximize profits

But not informing a show's creators about their unemployment is not just a dick move its bad business
You can bet your ass no one involved with that show is ever going to work with Cartoon Network again and there are talented people on that team who worked on Flapjack, early Fairy Odd Parents, early Adventure Time and other good cartoons. You don't fucking burn bridges like that for no reason and you shouldn't be a dick to your employees

CN makes really dumb decisions all the time forever since the past decade, but canceling the absurd nonsensical show before some of their other trash doesn't really help them much.
