I always thought, out of all the cartoons I ever saw, that Ren and Stimpy was the only one that remained pretty good even after the creator left. I never really knew much about Kricfalusi until many years after, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that his absence was perhaps for the better. The only thing John added to the show was the initial concept, and the edgier and more adult jokes.
And while these aspects left the show after his production ended, the later seasons focused more on clever writing, something John K. really hasn't excelled at in ANY shape or form throughout his career. The animation in R&S stayed pretty amazing too, so it's clear that his style was pretty easy to replicate and improve on. Probably why he doesn't get any work these days.

Alright, gang. Few IPs in comics are as skubtastic as the X-Men with six and one half billion roster changes and here today, gone tomorrow characters.
So Let's say that Marvel reacquires the movie rights to the franchise and have put you in charge of casting and plotting a rebooted series of X-books.
You must include, at a MINIMUM:
*2 teams of five to ten members each for two monthly ongoing series. Adjectives required (Astonishing, Uncanny etc.)
*1 Junior team of 5-10 members.
*1 Spinoff series (X-Force, X-Factor etc.)
*You may mix and match different X-characters from different periods (Example Teen Rogue and Teen X-23 in the same book.)
Additionally, you must pick:
*An overall leader (Such as Storm, Xavier, Cyclops Etc. Could be anyone.)
*A setting (Utopia, Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, X-Force's old bunker or somewhere else)
*Support Staff (Forge, Moira MacTaggart, That one nurse Polaris had a killboner for etc.)
Show off your fantasy X-team!. Compare them with other fantasy X-Teams! Shitpost about how _________ ruined the franchise!

What are some steps I could take to improve as a comics writer? How can I improve descriptions of scenes or characters? How can I make dialogue more fluid and natural? How can I strengthen the structure of a story to make it stronger?

As a writer all you can hope to do is describe the scene so the artist gets what you want. It's not prose, you don't have to paint a picture, just mechanically let the artist know what you want to be in the shot. Don't be too caught up on details though, as the artist will have a better idea for how to visually fill a space than you will.
As for dialogue, watch good movies.

I don't know exactly how things will turn out, but I assume Spidey will switch sides at some point and become a fugitive and still will be after the movie ends (possibly without his identity being revealed somehow) so imagine a scene where Peter is arrested on the suspicion of being spider-man.
