What would Joel Schumacher do with Superman?
Gay sex?
>>81611667
I honestly feel like Schumacher would do his typical edgy style for Superman especially given the reception to his Batman
>>81611667
>Matthew Mcconaughey as Superman
So I've been reading pretty much exclusively Valiant for the last 6 months, and I am so behind on the state of Marvel. I'm pretty aware of the different books that were launched for ANAD, but are any of them being well received? Are there any standouts?
Vision is really good. Totally-Awesome Hulk is ok (art carries it). Standoff as an event has been pretty fun imo.
>>81611624
>Are there any standouts?
Only The Vision.
>>81611650
Man, I thought Standoff seemed a little neat, seeing as there's a shit ton of Avengers books now, but I was only reading ANAD Avengers and am still not sure about continuing buying it, and now they're wanting me to hop into an event already!?
I got a hypothetical question for you /co/.
Let's say that Warner Brothers allow Adult Swim to do a parody of Superfriends in the same vain as Sealab 2021.
Would you watch it?
It could certainly work. The only problem is if DC would allow it.
If the writing's good, yeah. If it's weird stoner shit instead of more mainstream comedy then no.

You guys realize DC and Cartoon Network are both owned by Time Warner, right?
That was a perfectly good bag of chips... Never opened...Never enjoyed...

SURVIVAL OF THE FITTTTEST, LEONAAAAAAAARD!
Crime is so convenient, though!
>>81610149
Having needed once to get a new ID and security card I can honestly say I prefer a crime.
Though it doesn't take months, just a day of running around, about 40 $ and two weeks for the new security card to come by mail. Of course I live in a relatively small city so that probably helps.

Y'know. DOA and me are on the same page for once since like what feels like a year.
Yeah, it's starting to feel like Willis wrote himself into a corner when it comes to this plot, which ultimately doesn't need to happen considering that all Becky and Joyce need to do is go up to whatever cops are at the house and explain the situation. Hell, the police already should have called Becky or Joyce or whoever to allow Becky to get her junk from home.
In any case, what I mean is that Willis is writing Joyce as a comic-relief bystander to the antics of Josh and Becky. Given how passionate Joyce has been about defending Becky, you'd be led to believe that she is as passionate about all other aspects of life, but here she's being written as a straight man character who is made to clean up after Becky's messes. Her view of the world is broken as well, so theoretically she should be willing to question anything and everything.
As I said before, Joyce has basically become the love interest of a three-person gaming comic, who ends up falling for the wacky protagonist and miscarries his baby later. I feel like if Willis HAS to write this story, he shouldn't be making Josh so willing to give Becky an easy-out; he could be helpful, but not entirely willing to break the law. He could be offering the same advice I offered earlier, by talking with the police at the house.
Willis needs to learn to write teams of three as id/ego/superego groups. It worked for "Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy" after all.
Does /co/ like Ninjago?
I do. Though I wasn't thrilled with how they resolved the latest session.
I haven't watched in a while, Did Mia get with Zane or Cole?
>>81609630
I'll admit I haven't watched it since Season 2 ended, so I have no idea what's happened since then, also this is a series that would be so much better if it wasn't in the Lego style
What's /co/'s opinion on Larry Hama's Wolverine comics?
Been picking up these issues and have been enjoying them a lot.
I started at #66 and have been meaning to pick up as much as I can.
Have # 62, 63, 66-68 and am lookin to pick up other issues written by him, like #31-43, 45-53, 55-57, 61, & 64.
Any other issues I should look into?
It is surprisingly good. I mean if you think '90s Wolverine series' it had just about everything to go wrong but it's one of the best Marvel runs of the entire decade (granted, competition is a bit low). It's like if Maximum Carnage somehow managed to not be a hilarious 90s macho shitfest
>>81609524
Sorry for that shit OP image, here's that cover art at a higher resolution

Check out the Sabretooth mini he did with Mark Texeira
What's the comfiest episode of Hey Arnold?
Anything winter related.
Any of the episodes focusing on the boarding house and its residents, since that was the comfiest location in the show.
>>81609459
That one where Helga gets raped.
What does /co/ think of this movie?
Fun little adventure or a boring piece of shit?
>>81609434
I enjoyed the movie, comfortable and has that spirit of adventure not many have nowadays.
>>81609434
Flawed as all Hell, has some... questionable sexualization of little girls, really well animated, really good soundtrack.
>>81609567
If nothing else, I'll remember it for all the catchy tunes and endless panty shots.
What are your hopes for the Cloak & Dagger tv show?
>>81609413
First time I heard about them. Maybe I'll start reading them.
Lots of interracial sexualness, silly goy.
That ABC gives the rights to Netflix instead
Does this episode still hold up well?
>>81609383
its the best episode. it only goes down from there.
>>81609383
no.
Rick and Morty is a funny show, but it doesn't have any lasting effects with the jokes
guess that comes with having a pseudo improbed humor
it's funny the first and maybe second or third time, but after a couple reruns it just isn't that funny
Sort of but at the same time not really?
It's still a funny and great episode all around but part of what made it so good as it was is the fact you never expect it to go so south so quick. You don't see the rape scene coming let alone a complete tonal shift to reflect how fucked up it was.
But now that you have seen it you do see it coming so it won't give you that same punch as it did the first time.
Show in other shows thread
Also is there a name for them?
>>81609355
Parodies?
>Season 3 of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers opens with an appearance by Masked Rider, leading into his Spinoff
>Later on in Time Force, One of the Villains watches an episode of Masked Rider on TV
How?
>>81609355
>Tonight, on an all new "Ducktective: Special Victims Unit"...
I find it funny how Spongebob is complete shit now, yet still finds ways to remain relevant (through memes and shit). Will Spongebob go away anytime soon?
>>81609189
>Another film supposed to come out in 2019.
No, it's staying for a while.
The new wave of constant SpongeBob memes almost makes me think someone is behind all of them
Are there any good post-movie SpongeBob memes other than "Who Put You On the Planet"?
Now see, the way to nurture children is to have a safe, stable, loving environment from which they will be able to grow and flourish under a gentle, guiding hand that tries to stem them down the correct path, all the while developing their own, unique world view and skill set. That's not to say you don't punish them when they are wrong, but instead correct any underlying problems that may have caused the choice they made in the first place and reinforce the positive consequences of their actions.
What are your thoughts... ummmm.... I'm sorry, I seem to have forgotten your name. That's not like me. I do apologize.
PROFESSOR MEMBRANE! THINK NOTHING OF IT, AS I ENJOY THIS DELICIOUS SANDWICH THAT I MADE
WITH "SCIENCE"!
My viewpoint is that children live in a very harsh reality, one that does not become better the older you become. I provide them the necessary means of survival; food, clothing, entertainment, a shelter, doled affection, education, the basics needs of humanity. From there, I allow them to make their own choices and find their own lot in life. Happiness comes from those who seize it with their own two hands.
What are your thoughts, Professor?
Rick. It's just Rick. Don't let the *burrapppp* stylish lab coat fool you, though I am a man of science, my credentials don't stem from some hoitey-totey stick-up-their-ass money-grubbing babysitting "institution". My "philosophy" on kids is that their underdeveloped, annoying, growing testicular cancer levels of almost useless brain matter that serve no further purpose than to regurgitate other equally ridiculously idiotic creatures in a seemingly never ending cycle. I, I, I mean, you can't even EXPERIMENT on them without people getting up in arms about the "ethics" and "morality" of doing so! Sorry, sorry, a bit touchy and off subject, not something everyone is comfortable talking about. Look, at the end of the day, you teach them some shit, let them make dumb ass mistakes that their genetics won't allow them to make otherwise, and try not to get them killed, if you can help it. Uhhh... you, "Professor". Your thoughts, even though I don't really give a shit.
Was he right?

A few million people to prevent the complete and utter extinction of humanity?
Yeah, Id say so.
>>INB4 bleeding hearts decrying him.
>>81609279
It won't prevent a thing, Anon. Either the truth will get out and the world will comes for Ozzy's balls OR people will slowly forget New York City and go right back at eachother's throats.
Nothing Ozy did will amount to anything aside from a mountain of corpses.
>>81609279
That rests on the assumption that he did save humanity, when it's far from certain and strongly implied that it won't last.
