/co/, are you pondering what I'm pondering?

"We should but /sug/ back on /co/? Narf!"
But Brain, if /ck/ cracked corn and no one cares, why's she still doin' it?
>>81868875
Yes Brain, but I'm not sure how mixing our jizz into artists' ink will help improve comics.
As the upcoming Batman: The Killing Joke film approaches I find myself lost. Normally I'd be tremendously
excited, but there hasn't been a decent movie in quite some time has there?
I wanna see where you stand, /co/. So rank them and tell me what you like about 'em.

Finally, the sequel to the original Nut Job nobody asked for.
http://deadline.com/2016/04/nut-job-2-release-date-sequel-open-road-1201735738/
gangnam aside for a generic kids film this movie was not bad
Brendan Fraser would make a great Batman
>>81868139
I actually heard the movie was pretty good, so, I wouldn't be surprised if someone asked for a sequel, or at least, welcomed one.
Hey /co/
I'm headed to an event tomorrow with the show runners and writes for the DCTVU and Jessica Jones. Hit me with any questions you want me to ask, I'll pick the best, then post the responses either late tomorrow or Sunday.

More info on plans for Legends of Tomorrow season 2?
Is Constantine going to make more appearances in the CW universe?
How much money will you take to drop Felicity off on Lian Yu.
>>81867901
How much do we need to set the Kickstarter to bribe the writers to get rid of Felicity and never mention her again?
>you will NEVER grow up in a neighborhood with such an awesomely organized society of kids
>you will NEVER have to participate in some massive competition to earn a reward for King Bob
>You will NEVER earn the title of Prankster Prince
>You will NEVER be involved in school-wide sticker-trading economies or dodgeball wars
why live?
You'll also never play that weird ass game they discovered with all the tiles with pictures of animals on them. This is a really creative, underrated show, I wish /co/ would discuss it more.
My school actually had dodge ball war

I don't habeeb it
Why are so many comics from the late 90s to late 00s just a bunch of joyless grimdark shit?
>>81867638
The Sonic Comic is goodAfter Ian took over in 2005Also, because anime boom.
Because you just got that assumption from Linkara and TV Tropes.
>>81867638
All comics are joyless shit.
These are objectively the best crafted superhero movies. Sorry Nolanfags.
>>81867401
I agree, but you also can't rowan the Nolan.

Thanks, Captain Obvious!

A lot of people hail the bore fast that is The Dark Knight as the best. I just want to remind those people.
I haven't been following the Vertigo relaunch stuff, is any of it good?
>>81867114
>vertigo Relauch
no such thing; it's just a new imprint called Young Animal being headed by Gerad Way. Vertigo will continue to exist with it's current books along side it
>>81867286
I meant the stuff released in October
>>81867372
Sheriff of Babylon and Unfollow.
Why is 616 so obsess with the Super Soldier Serum when they could be mass producing Spider-men and Hulks instead? They are superior to the SSS in every way possible.
>>81866646
Spider-Man's origin is mostly a total secret, and a complete accident.
Most people just assume Spider-Man is a mutant or something.
>>81866646
I would assume because it's been proven to work
>>81866679
Everyone knows that Spider-man was bitten by a radioactive spider. Even that cloning fetishist Jackal knew and decided to replicate it with bedbugs instead.
>yfw the gestures Doctor Strange is doing while washing his hands in the trailer are reminiscent of the gestures he'll do when casting spells, indicating the ritual acts a doctor must engage in to succeed at his craft are not that different from the ritual acts of a sorcerer

Just got back from seeing it. Anyone else see it yet? If you haven't seen it yet, be sure you stay for the credits.
I went there, completely ready and willing to hate. I didn't hate it. It was actually pretty great quite a bit of the time. Sure, everyone knows how the big conflict ends already, and they didn't pretend it was going to be a surprise, but it was still reasonably satisfying to see. It was clearly more serious and grim than the cartoon to a point, but they didn't completely forget the songs, but you have to wait for the end credits for some of them and for full versions.
>>81866296
did they have bear necessities?
>>81867042
And then some.
I've seen it too, and they didn't have those Vultures near the end of the animated version. The marching elephants were there, but they didn't spoke a single word.

What would say were the top five creepiest/disturbing episodes of the series? Not necessarily the best episode, but the ones most likely to give kids nightmares.
technically not an episode but that one short about the guy who always faced one way fucked me up
>>81865892
The short about the giant tooth monster in the lake.
none of them. because it's comedy.

I'm refraining final judgement until the epilogue.
As it stands right now, it was bad and I can't believe Hussie thinks a TV show would come out of it
