Serious question here, /co/. Not trying to be mean or anything.
But why is everyone excited about Geoff Johns taking over the DCEU? Why are they treating Johns like the next Christ figure?
I mean, his Justice League run was the worst run of the team ever (full of unsolved plotlines and boring stories). His big events like Trinity of Sin and Darkseid War were terrible (and full of terrible DONUT OCs like Pandora and Grail). He turned Billy Batson into a tryhard jerk that bullies people. He had Superman destroy an entire world!!! (and entire world!!!) that's almost as bad as neck-snapping. Not to mention that Geoff Johns hates Batman and his villains. He made him in incompetent idiot in Earth One that needed Gordon to teach him "how to detective" and got almost got killed by the penguin (and had to have Alfred murder him). He also hates Batman's villains and is jealous that they are more popular than his favorite D-list badguys (he hates Mr Freeze for being more popular than Captain Cold). He even made the Riddler edgy and boring in Earth One. Even his older works are bad. Green Lantern ruined the series and made space cops into boring raimbow warriors that worship dull rainbow gods (also bug parallax was dumb). Sinestro Wars was a michael bay movie. His Wally Flash was full of him jerking off to Barry because MUH NOSTALGHIA. And even ignoring all that, Johns was still put in charge of helping Green Lantern movie and BvS:DoJ and this movies still turned out like shit.
So why is everyone freaking out and calling Geoff Johns the next "Capekino?"?

But even the Flash show isn't that perfect. Heck, Season 2 isn't as good as Season 1. I mean yeah it's better than MoS, but even that's not saying much.
In 1 week, Disney's Alice 2 and Fox's Xmen Apocalypse hit theatres.
Which do you want to see and which do you think will do better?

Alright /co/, here's a question for you.
Since these movies have a very large audience, how do we make some of these viewers read comics too? The comic industry is on its death bed and yet the movies keep making millions of dollars.

Wasn't it because PPG wasn't allowed to be shown in Japan so they made their own.
Sort of like America making their own Sailor Moon series (which looked so fucking ugly), in the end both countries got the originals anyway.

The original series was very popular. Japan wanted more, so they made it happen. It's pretty terrible, but still better than the new series.

Why didn't they just make Kaijudo a YU-GI-OH clone like the franchise it spawned from? Duel Masters has 14 seasons, 3 movies and 58 volumes of manga, this got 2 seasons.

Nobody gives a shit about them, so it's easy to retcon and/or ignore the stuff that isn't working.
The only thing that would really be required to make them more marketable is to make people care about the characters which, granted, is a bit tough considering none of the characters are that interesting to start with.

It's baffling to me how bad Simpsons has gotten.
Like, I check in on the new seasons from time to time just to see where it's going, and it just keeps getting worse. The animation is lazy, the stories are half-assed, and there isn't a single person in this world who understands the characters less than the writers. I only watch like one episode a season, and usually the one that looks the least terrible, but it just keeps getting worse. It's like dipping your toe into a pool waiting for it to at least get lukewarm, but it gets colder and colder every time.
Even just looking at screenshots like in OPs image makes me sad. I don't know how, but they've even managed to take the personality out of zombies.
Nobody on this show should ever be proud of what it's become.
