Well the New 52 era is officially over (DCYou was such an abortion that not even DC act like it counts). What did you enjoy from it /co/? I mean it wasn't all bad, right?
I liked Dial H and OMAC, nothing else really
DCYou was just an ad campaign for part of the New 52 you idiot, it wasn't a reboot.

That's it.

sports bra?
>>83132806
It's a kind of sportsbra, not a real one but a loss less straps and moving parts than a regular bra. They're comfy but not really for wearing out or anything. Popular among lesbians. for reasons unknown.
I know everyone's excited for the Rebirth issue, but can we all admit that he's a really, really mediocre writer? Green Lantern, Flash, Justice League are all boring as fuck.
Sure. I think he's a better influence on comics than a writer, so I'm happy to see him move up to a creative control role. I get all the sensibilities and respect without the dialogue.
>>83132156
Some "People" on this board actually likes Forever Evil so...
I don't get why his Flash is so beloved? He wrote Wally without any personality and basically focused on the rogues the entire time. And all of the dialogue between the rogues is samey. I did like his Zoom arc though.
I'm looking for examples of other heroes' stance on the mutant issue? Out side of Uncanny Avengers I can't really think of or remember a book about a non mutant hero having an opinion or more accurately a public opinion on mutants in general. It would seem like some support from the hero community would go along way to improving their image. It seems perhaps unintentionally that other heroes choose not to get caught up in the argument and play it kind of neutral.
Second question, If there were mutants or mutant equivalents int the DC universe, do you think that some of the larger hero figures would make an effort to create or support peace and understanding between two different species? Or would they stay on the sidelines as well?
>>83131870
Just always pick the right side.
>>83131870
The Avengers were pro mutant, I mean look at how many mutants joined there team
Thor especially is angry with humans who hate mutants, especially the X-Men
>>83131870
DC has "metahumans". At least that's what they called them in that one Superman comic I read that did the whole mutant question thing.
Heathcliff catches a tagger.

A mouse finally got bad news. Is that strip Gallagher's reaction to pic related?
>>83131800
Is it weird that I have a sort of cautious curiosity leaning towards a hint of optimism about the upcoming Smurfs movie? I admit the movie still sounds like a gamble and most of my optimism is coming from who the director is (that Dreamworks horse movie Spirit and Shrek 2 guy) and that going by the official production tumblr (I know, I know. Deep breaths now) the people working out seem genuinely eager to create something they can be proud of.
on the other hand, I've never watched The Goldbergs (A writer from that show seems to be the person helming the screenplay. Anyway, the show doesn't seem like something I'd be into going by the commercials) and yeah, it is more than a little bit concerning that none of the writing staff has any credentials that give me reason to be even more hyped. So good (sometimes just okay) director but, possibly questionable writing team.. this is quite a mixed bag but, I can actually see an at least decent movie coming out of this. I wouldn't mind getting "blown away" though and getting
a surprisingly great movie. Maybe if Kelly Asbury leans more towards his mindset of when he directed 'Spirit' and not so much the 'Shrek 2'/'Gnomeo and Juilet' type mindset..
Anyone else at least holding interest to see how this new Smurfs movie turns out or do you most of you feel it's a pretty hopeless endeavour?

>Anyone else at least holding interest to see how this new Smurfs movie turns out or do you most of you feel it's a pretty hopeless endeavour?
First I have ever heard about this.
>>83131717
I didn't a new Smurf movie was being prepared after the two abominations, and the pic you posted looks genuinely great. So, yeah, thanks to you, I'll look forward to it.
Just based on the promotional artwork, it already looks like it's heading in a better direction than the abysmal live-action movies went in. Hopefully they won't try to force the characters to come into a modern day setting. That was a pretty huge fundamental mistake with the live-action movies.
Why didn't Hope and Hank bust Scott out of The Raft ?
>>83131684
They were too busy talking about how much of an idiot he is for getting put there in the first place. They would have gotten him out eventually.
I feel bad for Scott, now he's a wanted man and he can't see his daughter again
>>83131684
Is the Raft public knowledge? They might not have found out where he is yet.
Ultimate Peter was too pure for his universe.

Ok /co/, which Ant Man suit is superior? Old or New?
>>83131269
New, obviously. The old one has it's charm as a retro-futuristic relic dusted off for modern action, but the new one is an overall improvement in every way.
I like the new one. Looks like a natural evolution of the suit for modern day.
>>83131269
They're both rad as fuck.
>there are people who unironically defend this crime against good taste
Cartoons as a medium are dead, as far as I'm concerned. After Korra, I'll never be exited for another one, for as long as I live.

Well, i guess you dont need to browse /co/ every fucking day anymore, then. Bye.
Your loss.
Hey /co/, remember Blue Ear?
>>83131106
This thread is to discuss Blue Ear & the surprising untapped potential he has.
>>83131106
dont remember the details, but he's that one superhero that some mom asked marvel to make so that her hearing impaired son could feel like a superhero at the time?
He still seems like more of a DC character to me. Let Morrison write him, I want to see what kind of pseudo-philosophical shit he churns out in contrast to guy created for deaf kids to look up to.

Ultimate Marvel Storytime
>What's being storytimed?
Ultimate Marvel, later known as Ultimate Comics, was an imprint of comic books published by Marvel Comics, featuring re-imagined and updated versions of the company's superhero characters from the Ultimate Universe. The imprint was launched in 2000 with the publication of the series Ultimate Spider-Man and Ultimate X-Men, providing new original stories for the characters. The Marvel Multiverse, which comprises an infinite number of galaxies and alternate universes, calls this universe Earth-1610.
>Why are you doing this?
Because there's a lot of good stuff that people ignored that deserves recognition and even the bad stuff can be fun.
>Why this order?
I originally planned on doing USM to Death of Spider-Man, but I want to do the rest now. I've separated things into groups for convenience.

The main Rebirth story is 80 issues and most people are probably still in line waiting to get their copy.
It'll be awhile before any scans go up.
>>83130542
Yeah the comixology version will probably be available by the time or before all the pages get scanned
>tfw when Comixology has billed me but not sent the 'your comics are available' email yet
