Why is the tv series never as good or better than the theatrical movie?
The Disney cartoons and The Dreamworks cartoons
>>83665276
Pic unrelated?
Cause that show was tops.
As was Aladdin.
And Tarzan.
And definitely How to Train Your Dragon.
>>83665307
I'm going to strangle the shit taste out of you.
>>83665276
Shit taste aside...
Usually because it's due to lower budget and more time constraints. Not that hard to figure out.
What superheroes still listen to their mommas?
>>83664538
Dick listens to Alfred sometimes
>>83664538
Batman. He should really get help.
>>83664538
Superman.
Damian, occasionally.
Some of the Flashes.
So apprently captain boomerang isnt a batman villian. So does batman like, appropriate all the good villians from other characters, so he can keep the title of having he most interesting cillians?
Are you implying that Boomer isn't a good villain?
Sometimes a villain will cameo in another hero's book for various reasons.
I don't understand what you're trying to say.
Does /co/ remember shows like Yakkity Yak, and Teachers Pet?
Trick QuestionYou Do.
>>83664287
yup I remember them.
>>83664287
Whoops, forgot link
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9plqxayYbOM
They were alright until 2005-2008 when all the great 'new' 2000s shows came to an end and basically all the remnants of 90s tv were history and they stopped running reruns of anything good.
With that came the end of a wonderful era of cartoons.
ALL THESE POCKETS!!!
AND NONE OF THEM ARE USED!!!!
Atleast there not belts
>>83664195
What pockets? I see pouches.
>>83664195
He stores photos of Jean in them.
Garfield
do you still like him?
>>83664191
I liked him when he was still drawn like that
>>83664191
I laffed
Through a bizarre series of events, Sterling Archer has become the dad for the last cartoon family you watched. How does he get along with everyone?
>King of the Hill
Probably not, but there'd probably be a cool action scene at Strickland Propane.
>>83664134
Oh god
>>83664134
> Archer hanging out in beach city, with a magical child he barely knows or understands and the crystal gems who keep dealing with problems that they wont let him just shoot to death.
"Peridot, move. I'm driving the drill. I'm the most qualified. I've been to space, damnit!"
"We've all been to space. We're gems. We're from space."
"God damnit you little green bell pepper, just let me drive the- WHY IS THIS THING SO FREAKING SMALL? How did you think we were going to fit in here? Did you build this drill for ants?"
"N-"
"No, of course not. The ants could never move the levers. Forget I said that."
/co/ characters you are pissed off that they got turned into coal burners
>>83664069
>coal burners
What?
>>83664086
Like captain marvel, Batgirl, or power girl
Or, how important do you think webbing is to a "spider" character?
She doesn't have organic webbing. And I've never seen anything to suggest she's tech savvy enough to make her own. But she's at least kind of friendly with Peter and on good enough terms with him that asking or him just offering up a pair doesn't seem entirely unreasonable.
She glides everywhere. She doesn't really need web shooters.
>>83664020
Does her new costume have wings?
Before New 52:
-wore white makeup on her face
-wore jester costume
-has dyed blonde hair
-was crazy and in love with the Joker
-always comes back to the Joker despite his abuse because of her mental instability
-has two pet hyenas
After the New 52
-completely bleached white like the Joker
-dresses like a slut
-has dyed blue and red hair
-is over the Joker because she's an empowered feminist
-won't take Joker's abuse anymore and is an portrayed as a role model
-was forced to kill her pet hyenas when Snyder's facemask Joker gave them rabies
Harley has always been a mediocre character and isn't worth the effort of fixing since idiots will buy her as is anyway. Save talent for concepts that actually deserve it.
>>83663922
She sells well and is popular so there's nothing to fix, anon.
>>83664059
>She sells well and is popular because she's now a Deadpool knockoff
Fix'd.
GO SEXY RANDAL THE PHARAOH WIZARDclerks thread ?
>>83663695
Is it....safe?
Why are we walking like this?
>>83664198
it puts the lotion on it's skin and puts it in the basket
>Plucky teenage girl sidekick/comic relief
>Messes with the established lore - there was no indication Anakin ever had a padawan before and it's such a weird addition so late in the game
>Exclusively made to appeal to the kiddies and make the show kid-friendly
In spite of all that, Ahsoka is a wonderful character whom I absolutely love. How the hell did they manage that when everything about her spells disaster?
>>83663652
But let's be honest. If we had to pick a universe with/without Ahoska, most of us would pick the one with her. It made Anakin's turn to the darkside more believable. I'm surprised they managed to pull it off.
>>83663652
It works because the movies don't really address any past, are pretty episodic, and take place years apart. So you can add anything and everything.
Not to sound memey, but what are some of your favorite "comfy" tier comics?
After finding the escapades of Freddy Freeman/Captain Marvel Junior so enjoyable, I think I have a far better understanding of why people are so endeared to Superboy
>>83663639
Generally a bunch of the Fawcett Captain Marvel stuff
I really need to find somewhere to read all the old Fawcett stuff. Definitely comfy reads.
Golden age superman and Maggin and Bate's Superman were great and comfy to a level.
My fish had an earthquake, and I'm really sad about it, to me it was like a pet dog or a cat.
What are some happy cartoons that will cheer me up, but not anything that's too childish?
>>83663587
Is that furry cat lady grumpy cat?
The Loud House usually has rather feel-good endings to each episode.or maybe play Yoshi's Story
>>83663587
How did your fish erfcake?
Im trying to start an animated series but my main character is a direct reference to two extremely popular franchise characters to the point where I will have to claim it as a parody to get it copyrighted. Is this going to be seen as a copout that I couldn't create my own character or will it be a fun reference to get people into the world i'm creating (it's a video game world).
Yes and yes. If the world itself is interesting and original (or at the very least fun) you should be fine.
Dude look at Rick and Morty, you can do it
>>83663535
Go ahead and make your first project a parody, short thing to get in practice and show what you are capable of. Then do something original.
