Are you guys hyped for the Orlando ongoing?
It's my most hyped book of Rebirth aside from Batman. Midnighter was probably the best thing to come out of the new 52.

That kid is walking.
Is he batgirl?
The concept as described doesn't do anything for me and it feels like he was given this sort of heavy synergistic book in return for getting one he actually cares about (probably JSA) that hasn't been announced yet.
But maybe it will surprise me.
Just a few of them have found their way online:

The additional scenes look great.
Good stuff.

Bump for people who want to see some of the scenes before WB takes them down.
Why is MJ such a bitch now?

So folks won't miss her all that much after Bendis kills her off.
To soften the blow when he accidentally kills her instead of Gwen.
Pretty much trying to get rid of her fanbase via character assassination, yeah.
No matter how old I get this will sequence will always give me the creeps.Am I the only one?
Not the creeps for me, but I loved this part of Fantasia. I went to see the HD redux in IMAX and was very pissed off that it wasn't in the movie. Stupid fucks censored it so Wal-Mart Christians wouldn't get offended.
They are making a live action movie based on this

I have nightmares of this guy for a different reason. Getting my ass kicked by him in Kingdom Hearts. Over, and over, and over....I never beat him...
I've been reading New X-Men the past few days and just finished #146.
You know. THAT part.
I never understood why it was seen as such a big deal before but having now experienced it first hand... yeah, it's fucking stupid at face value.
What was the story behind the decision again? Was it always the plan or did Grant have to do a rapid rewrite for some reason? It feels so rushed, not to mention nonsensical. We'd seen this dude's internal monologues before FFS.
I recall that Bendis added to the convolution later on but forget the details.

It was always the plan. And yes, it turned out to be so retarded that Claremont himself retconned it right away.

Just finished reading this. I don't understand. Is it supposed to be yet ANOTHER portrayal of Trump, this time focusing on his inexperience as a politician?
This is getting boring.
>>83795966
>I don't understand.
You just aren't smart enough to get it, normie.
>>83795996
uhm, what?
>>83795966
I might vote for loki. Trump just said he was meeting with the NRA to prevent people on the no fly list from buying guns. Which hurts him in my mind. Clinton is a piece of shit gun grabber, sanders is a piece of shit gun grabbing commie, green party is shitty gun grabbing commies, and libertarian party ticket is dude weed, lmao, also weak immigration laws and gun grabbing
The Evil Archangel Saga continues...
I don't know how they do it, but their non-humor joke and joke-falling-flat humor and their non-sequiture is pure gold. I don't how to express that correctctly but this is the kind of humor that is the most difficult to master and they nail it perfectly.
it's all ponctuated by a bunch of actual solid jokes. This season final was perfect.
have they confirmed renewal for season 3?
The secret is they just let Norm and Mike talk and then they just transcribe that and work it into a plot.
>>83795893
No, but they fucking better.
>>83795893
The trick is you think at the beginning of the show that just Pigeon is the bad one. BUT THEY ALL IN THEIR OWN SPECIAL WAYS ARE ALL HORRIBLE PEOPLE. It's kind of awesome really and when you put such people all together. They can do some truly monstrous things, it's great and awful at the same time. Also most of the people they interact with are shit piles too. But then it's really people just being people.
So we can all agree that this is Ennis's best work, right?
IDK it is fantastic but plenty of his mini series have been.
>>83795179
Hitman and Punisher were better. Fury MAX - My War Gone By probably was as well.

I'm out!
Why wasn't this series good?
It's by the same people who made Batman: TAS, one of the best cartoons of all time, yet Superman: TAS feels typical of kids shows at that time. The dialogue even feels dumbed down.
And it isn't because they can't write Superman, he was great in Justice League.
>>83794879
The comic adaptation that we got out of it made the whole thing worthwhile. Legit the best Superman ongoing ever.
>>83794879
>Why wasn't this series good?
It was great, OP. The hell are you talking about?
STAS was great, what are you on about?

So let me get this straight: Poison Ivy gets stuck in a bind and has to get RESCUED by a man (who comes out of NOWHERE with next-to-NO character intro) in her own comic?
What the fuck?

And?

You going to fucking Storytime it?
Does Swamp thing really need a character intro?
