>I had actually forgotten about this, but thought it would be a fun share.
>While working on my Bane issue of Batman '66 I had an idea for 66ing more of the Caped Crusader's Rogues, as well as revisiting some who appeared on the show. It all escalated quickly and I spent a day putting a package of material together to pitch Jeff Parker.
>By the time I got it to him the regular series had been cancelled though, so bringing the idea to fruition wasn't in the cards unfortunately. But here is a collection of character designs for the League of Shadows '66. I really wanted them to feel like Batman's equivalent to SPECTRE.
>My idea was to hint at the League with another Bane appearance, by re-introducing Nora Clavicle. She would meet with Bane and discuss with him her "father." The other members of the League would be peppered in smaller back-up stories, as some of the players were not major threats on the show. I really wanted to reintroduce many of the lesser used and regarded.
The real difference between Batman and Punisher

One is a white guilt ridden pussy while the other destroys black criminals
What's the verdict on this? Do people like it? This is the only X-men cartoon I watched as a kid, and as far as I remember it was pretty exciting.
>>83801598
I liked it. It was my first piece of X-Men media I was exposed to as a kid. Was pretty comfy watching this with Batman Beyond and Static Shock on Kids WB.
>>83801598
twas okay. it did a lot of shit right, had a good budget and art direction (mostly. clawless beast was a huge mistake and there was a lot of inappropriate sameface. plus pocky looked terribad), but it was also reallly dumbed down for kids, sanitized away from the usual healthy x-men level of drama, and occasionally delved into early-90s-tier teenage shinoligans.
It's funny how we've never had a perfect x-men movie, they all have some pretty clear flaw... but we've never had a BAD x-men tv show, even Pryde looked watchable.
Was it always this blurry?

I'm shocked. I thought all the comic book websites shilled for Marvel (especially Marvel events and Bendis books). Was it because they killed off a woman and a black?
>>83801251
newsrama didn't like Batman either
How old is Emiko supposed to be? In pic related she looked 9, could be 11, when she was introduced.
Then she was starting her first year of high school after DC You.
And now she looks about 16 with Rebirth.
>>83801081
She's 14-16 now, but she was definitely much younger when she was introduced. Or at least intended to be.
You can blame Convergence for the age change I guess.
I can live with Emiko instead of Artemis/Mia/Arrowette
I think there is more Asian female super-heroes in the DC comics Universe than Black or Latina heroes.
ITT, let's post comics that are educational and informative.

Are there any pieces of /co/ related media where fantasy and science fiction clash? Like a group of orcs and wizards fighting aliens or something?
You mean non comic related things? Because it's a pretty over used cliche on the comic side of /co/.
The Masters of the Universe! Barbarians, wizards and dragons against aliens, cyborgs and dinosaurs!

I wanted to make my dad something nice, so I'm looking for pages and panels that are pretty packed with Dad-liness.
I'll post the stuff I got and see if you fine folks can join in.

ITT: Breakout Characters
Knock Out from Transformers Prime.
I love Knockout, but how is he a breakout character? He appeared and will likely never be heard about again
Elsa from Frozen.
Seriously, it's been like three years and you can still sell anything if it has Elsa's face on it.
>>83800101
One of the only new original characters in a show that didn't have much originality.
Became an instant fan favourite, due to his personality. also his function as a Decepticon medic, his design, his voice and chemistry with Starscream made him a tour de force character.
He got referenced in RID in the second season, he may appear again, nothing has said he couldn't appear.so far Ratchet and Soundwave have made some appearances.
>>83800158
oh yes, definitely. Nobody really thought she'd be the true star of the movie.
How large is your comic folder?

I don't pirate
>>83799870
Not very big. I've been streaming my comics lately.
18.4 GB in total. Not huge, but then again, I'm kinda new (~1 year of seriously reading comics) and took a big reading break for about 2 months.
