/r9k/ here...
Aside from mixed martial arts, what would it take to be a vigilante? I have nothing to really live for. Might as well give this a shot. The city I live in is fucking garbage. Every time I turn on the TV, it seems like there's another shooting or drug bust. The police is incompetent. They won't even dare to go into the most dangerous neighborhoods. Nothing but crime and everyone just lets it go on like it doesn't even matter. Someone should at least try to do something. I was driving by the other night and I saw a guy get jumped and beaten. The police wouldn't do shit. It's a bad neighborhood...
Don't worry, guys. I totally have part of this figured out. I have a base of operations(nearby abandoned factory). That's a start. I don't really know why I made this thread. The idea itself is insane and dumb but who really cares. Since you anons read comics, I figured you would know a little about vigilantism even if it's mostly fantasy. I know that there has to be poor, regular guys fighting crime in comics, right? Wasn't Green Arrow homeless one time? I don't know. Help me before I get myself killed.
"You're gonna die anyways faggot"
At least help me die looking professionally. I don't want to die looking like a crazy madman.
Or we could have a nice discussion about vigilantism/real life superhero in real life. There's that Phoenix Jones guy...

Get a camera and record crimes from a distance, preferably indoors. Then put the video online on youtube. This is literally the ONLY effective form of vigilantism.

In a future time.
how did you guys feel about this show?
It had some women that were hot, but in a way where I wasn't 100% sure they were women, so I didn't want to say much about ti.

like the not-canadian otter people voiced by bob and doug mckenzie?
>Constantly Reused character models
>Stiff Animations
>Got Canceled so never got a true ending.
>Didn't realize the main villain was a chick until almost the very end
All in all I enjoyed the story, but most of the time wished I was blind while I watched it.
I will admit I only have seen a bit of the show but I would love nothing more than to pelt this guy with a bowl of baked beans for selling out his buddy just so people he doesn't even like would give him a high five and let him hang out.

This show was the only candian thing worth watching and its fucking gone
>>83890800
He actually matures a lot later on in the show, as it progresses. At least compared to the older episodes.
>>83890897
It's surprisingly well done. No filler, ever episode is contributes to the main plot in some way, great voice acting, character development, actual continuity, and some of the characters are really lovable and/or entertaining. Very underrated show. I hope they continue with a 4th season.
Killing of mass murdering supervillains, do you agree with it? Would you kill a supervillain if you were a superhero?
>>83890500
Yes. Absolutely. Fuck Peter for ever convincing anyone otherwise.
>>83890500
In some superhero settings, whenever a villain goes too far they'll get a kill order placed on them, allowing heroes and vigilantes to attack them on sight with lethal force in exchange for a bounty. I would kill somebody who had a kill order placed on them. Although if kill orders didn't exist I would kill them anyway if they were evil enough or if people were in immediate danger. Wouldn't that be justifiable homicide?
>>83890500
Someone people just don't want to kill, blame the state's incompetence not the hero.
FINAL EPISODE TOMORROW HOLY SHIT
Oh yeah. Can't wait for the next one, I think it will start off kinda cute then get progressively dark. But that's just my theory :)

If there were a Zelda cartoon, would you prefer a serialized adventure similar to Avatar with classic Link designs or a comedic episodic cartoon with cel-shaded Link?
Honestly you could just reskin samurai jack and have a great LoZ show
>>83888981
Holy shit now I want a Gennedy-directed LoZ cartoon.
>>83888935
Episodic, everybody already knows the fucking Zelda story and the minor variations thereof.
What's your favorite bit of lost media? I think Dexter's Rude Removal is a cool one.

Jesus, and I thought the /v/ musicals were a good effort.
What the fuck happened?
i don't know, are you gonna storytime it?

The last comic of Hellboy for 2 years.
Mignola will take it back after he is done painting.
I knew that saving this explanation from the first storytime would be useful.
