I'm ready for another GI Joe movie, and maybe Visionaries too
Great thing about shared universes is that they get movies made about characters that would otherwise never be considered film franchise material
Although at this point I'm sure more cinematic universes have been threatened than realized at this point
>>83957630
Rom huh, that sounds cool
>>83957630
Any chance we'll get a transformers crossover with all this
Is /co/ ready for Jason and Artemis?
Because I am ready.
>>83957198
>bullying Jason like she's his big sister
Artemis is cute. CUTE!
>>83957198
I'm ready for Lobdell to leave.
>>83957198
>Artemis will never bully you
Rules to thread: You can only post once and then read others, you can't argue with other people about their choice, I'm just trying to keep it clean
OK so this guy
>The most famous and recognizable superhero of all time
>casual superhero fans love him because he's so powerful
This is how I think of superman: Did you and your friends when you were like 3 ever play pretend? Me and my friends would and we would make up our own superheroes and pretend fight. But then you would get that fucking asshole kid who when you hit him he'll always be like "oh I'm immune" "oh, it didn't hit me I dodged it" "I'm too powerful to be hurt" that is literally superman. He's too goddamn powerful. I can understand him being popular in like the 50s because that was their current culture. Today we want to see heroes struggle, we want to see heroes fall from time to time, we want to see heroes we can relate to. Superman gives none of that, he's literally invincible with no kryptonite which is so fucking lame and he has like a billion super powers. Having a physical weakness to something is fucking lame too. There's no point to the justice League with superman there. I was excited for rebirth hoping they would lessen his powers to the point where he's not Jesus but of course they didnt. Basically, superman is a lame ass superhero.

Your first mistake is making a thread and then asking for people to not discuss, essentially defeating the purpose of a thread. You want a blog, go write a blog.
And then this is a perfectly legitimate criticism to Superman if he were a character in Mortal Kombat. But he's not, he's a character people use to tell stories about lots of different things. Is the only conflict you've ever heard of Man v Man? Even if there weren't plenty of villains that can take on Superman (Mxyzptlk, Brainiac, Parasite, Metallo, Doomsday, etc.), often his stories are about how to work around the villain's scheme to save as many lives as possible. Just because he himself can't die (again, not the case, but if it were), there's still a danger because he takes responsibility for all the lives in Metropolis or on Earth. And that's just for those Superman stories. Otherwise it's a space opera about aliens flying all around and the importance of preserving all life or the joy of discovery and diplomacy.
Essentially, your assertion that Superman is lame because he can't be shot is retarded, your desire to not be called out on it is retarded, and you're retarded.
Also, Iron Man.
>>83957132
Fuck you I'll argue with whoever I want! Also you're wrong!
>>83957376
Fuck you your points are moronic and your opinions are shiiit!
>>83957132
>you can't argue with other people about their choice
Pussy
Discuss. Obviously this is hideously imperfect. What do you change?
>>83957024
>gail simone
>frank miller
>alan moore
>positive
all of this is dumb
>>83957024
Is Ellis listed as a negative? Fuck outta here.
What was his fucking problem?
>>83956977
his mom was as ferschnickert as a frenchman while pregnant
also it was like, the goddamn 15th century
>>83956977
He was autistic, ugly, retarded, a shut-in, and had no friends. But unlike us, he didn't have an anonymous image board to vent in.
>>83956977
Did you even watch the fucking movie?
would youlove her?
>>83956954
'no'
Does she enjoy pokemon and Sentai? Then yes
>>83956954
>Ukelele
No.
This is the first image of the upcoming animated series. You excited, /co/?
>The 26 x 22-minute series, which will focus on the teenage years of Mavis, Dracula’s daughter, and her friends.
They're also making a third movie and Genndy is back to direct.
>Tartakovsky expressed his excitement in returning to the director's chair for a third go-around, saying, "I thought I was done exploring the world of Hotel Transylvania after the first two films, but while I was away from the franchise finishing my TV show Samurai Jack, an idea sparked that I got really excited about and made it irresistible to return and helm myself this third adventure."
>>83956890
Not nearly as cute as movie version, but for teenage shenanigans I'll give it a pass on that.
Disney bought the rights and plans to air in worldwide next year.
One day, a dog was wandering alone in the woods when it came upon a wolf. The dog had not seen a wolf, before, and was unfamiliar with their habits, and so the dog asked, "what are you doing, there?"
"I am looking for food," the wolf replied, for it was hungry.
The dog pondered this, as dogs are sometimes known to do, before declaring, "you should come with me, there is lots of food where I live. You will be fed every day."
The wolf was incredulous at the dog's offer, as wolves are accustomed to eating only what food they could hunt for themselves. Suspicious, the wolf looked the dog over and found that it was tall and strong and healthy, clearly wanting for nothing, but also that it bore a length of leather strap about its neck, to which the wolf asked, "what is that you are wearing?"
"This is my collar," the dog answered proudly, "the master puts it on me."
"Ah," the wolf nodded, "I see. You are fed because you do what your master tells you." At this, the dog nodded.
"Thank you, but no. I would prefer to go hungry and remain free."
>>83956789
that's basically why wolves still exist, you know, disregarding the endangered stuff
back in the way back when, the wolves that saw humans are were willing to live with them became dogs and the wolves that saw humans and ran away stayed wolves
>>83956789
Great comic and/or cartoon you got there, OP.
>>83956866
eh.. we also had a hand in that, going out and killing all the ones who didn't join us but were easy enough to find and kill. this widened the gap.
>>83956789
i was expecting the wolf to go back, the owner to shoot him or chase him off, and for he and the dog to be confused as to why it didnt work
Storytiming my all time favorite Spider-Man story. This is Spider-Man: Blue
>winamp starts playing It's The Same Old Song
It's like my computer knows.
>Troubled teen Evelyn Sharp (Madison McLaughlin) will return to “Arrow” in Season 5, Variety has learned, and after her brief stint behind Black Canary’s mask last season, she’s definitely been bitten by the vigilante bug. Evelyn was last seen in episode 419, “Canary Cry,” when she impersonated the fallen Black Canary to seek revenge on Damien and Ruvé Darhk for the murder of her parents.
>McLaughlin will be reprising her role as Evelyn for multiple episodes beginning in episode 502, and will be taking on a new DC Comics persona: Having tried to assume the mantle of Black Canary last season, Evelyn now aims to forge her own identity as the masked archer known as Artemis.
>let's add more archers to the team
Great
>>83956659
I'd be excited for this if I was actually going to watch next season
>>83956659
>literally roy and thea
>>83956731
Yeah this show has too many fucker archers already and their arent any fun tricks.
I lost count of how many times they shoot each others arrow.
What did /co/ think of this show? Good or bad? Or did anyone really ever watch it?
>>83956646
I tried to watch it, but I just keep being distracted by more exciting things like leaves falling outside the window or paint drying. The only praise I can muster up for it is that it isn't Johnny Test.
Some people on /co/ ship the boys, but there isn't much beyond that.
Let's just ask that guy to draw Kevin porn, since that's the real purpose of the thread.
>>83957552
It's at least a sign Scott Fellows is getting better. Not by much, but it's still an improvement on Johnny Test.
Sad that it seems like it won't be getting another season.
When exactly did it turn to shit?
skinner/armin tamzarian
hands down
>>83956515
It never did, but I will say by season 19 that things slowed down.
I'm still pissed the way Homer got away with it like if it was no shit.
Who would win in a fight, Deadpool, Freakazoid, or Space Ghost?
I think I'd rather watch them all go out for coffee or something
>>83956406
I'd say the viewers, cause that would be pretty fun to watch
>>83956406
>Space Ghost is le quirky meme character xDDD
Coast to Coast was a mistake.
Y'all ready for the best Batman run since Morrison? That doesn't mean much, but Batman #1 was really, really good.
>best Batman run since Morrison
urg.No.
Batman #1 was underwhelming m8. Obviously I'm sticking around for at least the first arc and probably more (as long as the first arc isn't AWFUL) but it felt like a pretty standard Bat comic.
I may have expected too much looking for King's Vision in a Batman comic but I was hoping it would be a bit more cerebral. But like I said, only the first issue. Omega Men's first issue isn't stellar either.
Was it good?
It was alright. There was some humor, but minimum 50% is just straight "lol the 70s happened, remember?". It's like being inside someone else's fond memories.
>>83955979
Forgettable.
>>83955979
Decent. If you listen to Bill Burr's podcast, you'll have already heard a good amount of the jokes.
