>it's not a comic book, it's GRAPHIC NOVEL
>i really like high fantsy settings
>>83959803
There is a difference ya know.
>>83959830
>There is a difference ya know.
Not really. It's a pretentious term for people who think comic book sounds too childish and are embarrassed by it
People who call comics graphic novels are the same people who say film instead of movie
>>83959803
What is the problem of liking high fantasy settings? I prefer low, but the other is cool too.
>you get to remove one character
>the show is better as a result
Who'd it be?
>>83959456
But Todd is great once you get past the first half of season one
Show is a million times better now
>>83959519
Fuck you cuz. Korra wasnt the real problem. Remove Asami and the two brothers and we have a start.
How come he was playing the Joker?
>>83959224
Because in the DCEU, Lex Luthor has a son named Lex Luthor Jr who eventually takes the name Edward Nigma when Luthor Sr returns and publically disowns his son.
>>83959224
Because in this universe, he is the Joker's wife's son.
>>83959224
I don't get why everyone said that he was imitating Ledger's Joker.
Luthor was one megalomaniac, schizophrenic fuck who hates Superman because he's more powerful than him and he feels threatened by his presence, while Ledger's Joker is an anarchist nutjob who loves the Bat.
How's that the same?
It's the weekend.
Wanna talk about LoliRock?
>>83862001
Is this show actually good?
English or French?
>>83862001
you know fpr a bunch of loli's they sure are... developed.
>>83862001
loli rock. The title lies twice.
Ben 10 returns in 2017 apparently.
I'm kind of surprised, I figure they would have it for a late 2016 release
Gross
It really makes you think...

another 11 min. comedy short.
http://www.ew.com/article/2016/06/16/marvel-spider-man-clone-conspiracy
>>“I think more than any character in the Marvel Universe, Spider-Man is about heart,” Slott says. “And ever since Amazing Fantasy #15, for him it’s also been about loss. ‘With great power comes great responsibility.’ He learns that lesson at the life of Uncle Ben. And then, years later, Captain Stacy dies in front of him, and it’s almost the exact opposite. He did everything he possibly could! He did try to live up to his responsibility and use his power, and still he lost someone very dear to him. So loss surrounds Spider-Man. We live in a day and age of comics where you’re always seeing another important death. ‘Here’s someone who dies!’ We’re subverting all of that. Here’s people coming back.”
>We live in a day and age of comics where you’re always seeing another important death. ‘Here’s someone who dies!’ We’re subverting all of that. Here’s people coming back.”
Wow....is /co/ ready for the most original comic book story?!!!

>People coming back to life

WOW, TRULY DAN SLOTT IS A MASTERFUL WRITER WITH FRESH AND ORIGINAL IDEAS
>>83958970
the only person who should be coming back to life is Otto.
>>83958970
>when the mini event is over
>all the characters that have stayed dead for a long time will be dead again
>some of the characters that recently died will stay alive

>>83958950
the only good part about the show.
>>83959017
>not Christopher Daniel Barnes' voice acting
>not the best Venom portrayal of all time
>not the story arcs that lasted multiple episodes
>Slott's shitty OC has the powers of a ton of heroes right now, including Hyperion, Vision, and Miles Morales
>Gets taken out by a woman in a robot suit
I WANT TO GET OFF SLOTT'S WILD RIDE
>>83958802
He can only access them one at a time from what we were shown. Basically a bootleg Super-Adaptoid.
>>83958802
I don't hate Regent. But I hate Slott. So I guess I hate Regent by association.
>>83958802
Man, I don't know if I hate Slott or Bendis more.
I don't mean one to one accuracy so much as looking as good as you could make that costume look on an actual person.
>>83958667
Which comics has this origin story?
After reading some of classic deadpool I still haven't found it
>>83958752
It's a great portrayal of the character but the plot and origin story is the most generic action movie plot of all time.
>>83958752
I don't think any specifically do. His origins always been kinda sprinkled here and there and I dont recall it ever being laid out like this. Least not in. The Kelly rub.
Archer Renewed for 3 more seasons
http://www.thewrap.com/archer-renewed-for-3-more-seasons-on-fx/
>>83958493
Damn it, stop it FX the team want to move on and do new things.
>>83958493
Why bother? It's been shitty echo-chambering jokes since S5.
>>83958493
I don't mind one more season to resolve the cliffhanger but 3 is going to get them into zombie tier. Can we trade two of the seasons for FX picking up Cassius and Clay?
You now remember Heatwave played Dracula in Blade 3
>>83958397
Yeah because none of those characters are comic related.
>>83958380
He was Iffy as Dracula but his vampire form was fucking badass.
>"But why would he have the reaper mandibles?"
Repressed gene that started with him.
Just what the hell is it going to take to make Marvel admit that breaking up Peter and Mary Jane was a terrible idea, and all of their attempts to replace her have been colossal failures?

Significant decrease in sales.

They're still married in the newspaper comics, they know full well clearing the whole board of it is just bad buisness, they'll keep it around in small ways 'till they see big bucks in large ways, like theu did during Secret Wars. Presumbly they'll do something next year because it's their 30th anniversary.
How come DC doesn't have letters columns anymore? Some of DC's best books were the best due in part to a great letter's column where readers would talk politics (Grell green arrow) or the writers would offer lessons/reading recommendations (o'neil's question). Hell they were even unafraid to publish letters of criticism.
so what's the problem these days? even marvel and image have letters/email columns
>>83958098
>How come DC doesn't have letters columns anymore?
Because we have the internet and social media now. There are other ways to hear back from fans and contact creators than just through mail.
>>83958125
Letters pages have been run through email for years
Getting the good ones published and actually acknowledged by the writers is a cool practice that is way better than quick answers on twitter
>>83958098
>Screw you! When I grow up, I'm going to the top of DC and I'm going to make Superboy a clone of Superman and Luthor! - Geoffrey Johns
So Banner is going to die, and Hawkeye seems to be the one that killed him, so this times Bendis doesn't kill the dude, but makes everyone hate on him.
Totally Awesome Hulk Solicit
• With the BLACK PANTHER watching his every step, the HULK takes on a mysterious new arch-enemy. But who is AMADEUS really after?
>>83957898
>ops autism continues
>>83957898
People were predicting this months ago. Is that the gimmick of the event? That readers would be able to be like Homer and predict stuff before it happened? Because if so that's fucking genius.
>>83957923
Shut the fuck up, Bendis. Kill yourself.
