How much better would it be if series was about bear cubs?
It would be worse. All the segments that shows them as cubs honestly feels like a Nick Jr. show. It's like watching Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat.
>>84229233
what's wrong with that, sagwa is my best friend
>>84229090
Awful. The cubs are dicks. Adult bears aren't that bad anymore.
Still need to watch those two leaked episodes
You just started working for Daily Bugle and you meet with a guy named Peter Parker, who also works for Daily Bugle. Guy goes to college and has just lost his girlfriend because of a super villain.
What do you do to cheer him up so you canfuck him
I don't know. Isn't it weird that that guy alwaysknows where Spider-Man's gonna be? And whenever some crazy villains tells Parker that they want Spider-Man, Spider-Man will be there within the hour. I wouldn't want to dat someone who is friends with that creepy wallcrawler.
He killed her, why would I have to cheer him up?
>>84229081
What? How did he kill him man? He isn't Green Goblin nor Spider-Man.
Is Sue Richards a better villain than hero, /co/?
No, but John Byrne is a better artist than writer.
>>84228929
there's nothing villainous about dumping Reed
>>84228929
That is a really weird costume.
Classpect thread?
>>84228920
What about them? Do you want to speculate on what certain classpect combinations might do?
Or, what if we list characters from other comics and shows and speculate on what classpects they might have? That's always fun.
>>84230448
Either or
>>84230448
I really just enjoy classpect analysis and all that
Ninja Turtles thread.
Now that some time has passed since the Out of the Shadows movie came out. What did you think about it? I think it's somewhat of a shame that the movie did as badly as it did since I think they were starting to go in a better direction.
But let's not only discuss the movie. Bebop and Rocksteady destroys everything recently ended so feel free to talk about that and the rest of the IDW comic. Do you have a favorite character? A favorite artist? Share here and tell us what characters you are hoping to see down the line.
I really like the art of Santoulouco and Bates. But the new Wachter guy is pretty okey so far.
Is there a rundown anywhere of all the different mutants that popued up in that R&B mini? I know Wyrm, and Wingnut and Screwloose. By the way I liked Platinum's design of Wingnut more. The IDW comic is still the best iteration out of everything that's out. I just wish the new G.I. Joe book had caught on like TMNT and Transformers has.
I haven't seen the movie yet. I'll probably wait until it hits the web.
I'm still digging the cartoon and am eagerly anticipating what they do with Usagi.
>>84229772
Is it official that Usagi will show up?
>>84229914
I looked into it myself and I couldn't find anything about it so I'm assuming that Anon was hoping for it to happen.
>its a meg episode

Is it just me, or are Luke's super powers a little unclear, and am I the only one who notices and cares that they seem to scale to whomever he is fighting?
In his origin and early days, as we have seen from storytimes, he gained impenetrable skin. But bullets still rightly bruised him, as there is more to a body than skin. Plus, punching through stone walls should still break bone and be beyond 'such and such pounds of muscle'. So, he seemingly always has a little super strength, but only when convenient.
In recent years, he has fought some pretty heavy hitters in Avengers titles and Civil War. People that really should be far above the paygrade of someone whose claim to fame is not getting stuck when you stab him. They certainly seem to have left impacts still doing deeper damage far behind, or else he would be long dead.
I liked that in Jessica Jones a shotgun blast didn't break the skin, but the force still fucked him up.

Power creep in comics is always ridiculous, especially when street level heroes get pushed onto teams and start getting forced to fight country/wold ending threads and cosmic shit.
Blame it on Bendis as usual.
Even in his own book, he slowly started developing Power Creep. In his early issues, he had to be careful with how he got hit by a random sedan, and later on he was able to ram down a moving truck. I even recall him early on pulling one of Hulk's "slap hands to knock an enemy down". That's not even counting the time he fought Spider-Man, and was seemingly able to match him blow for blow (and we all know how stupidly strong HE is).
But they firmly knew what tier he is in terms of power, as shown when he basically shit himself when he has to fight the Hulk, and when the Thing was able to freaking destroy him, and even nowadays he seemed to know full well that She-Hulk was out of his weight class.
On the other hand, that last example was Ewing writing, and when Bendis writes him, we get shit like pic related.I actually try to actively point out when Luke and Danny do things outside their previously established power levels, so we can sort of chart the power creep.
>>84228198
Hell, I forgot about that, and I read that recently catching up on everything Jessica Jones. Whelp, guess he has the wife outclassed in every respect except being able to fly. I always figured she might actually be a little bit physically stronger, as mid-tier strength and 'sort of flying' were her thing.
I'll have to track down those fights, as since his show is coming up, I'm checking out his stuff. I was surprised to find I actually really like Luke.
Oddly, I just can't bring myself to like Danny though. It might be first impressions, my introduction to him was his being at absolute cockend to Jessica in Pulse. Even reading the storytimes here, other stuff I've tracked down, and the new series hasn't helped. Hopefully seeing him on screen will change this; but at least his eventual show will have cameos from the other characters, and likely a lot of Luke.
Defenders is odd in that it's actually the only team I care about more than one or two characters on it.
Was beast a better Avenger than an Xmen
Avenger
Beast was the moody smart one of the original 5. Steve Englehart not only gave him the fur but decided to give him a party animal persona. His idea was that Hank was the kid who studied too hard, but then mellowed out in college

A MUCH better Avenger.
Much better as an Avenger, as an X-Men he's branded as a race traitor.
ITT: We Attempt To Find Missing Photos/Video Of The Cut (Good) Version of Spider-Man 3
>The symbiote feeds off its host's life force, but it quickly kills the host because of it. It was drawn to Peter precisely because Peter is superhuman and a constant source of energy.
>In the original ending, Venom would never pull back his face, and when Peter finally disrupts it with sound and pulls Eddie out, Eddie has already been reduced to a charred skeleton that was essentially being used as a meat puppet by the symbiote. The "never wound what you can't kill" is the symbiote talking to Peter.
>The symbiote would then try to bond with Peter again, but Peter manages to set off the bomb and crawl to safety.
>Test-audiences thought it was too dark, so they reworked it as Eddie still being alive and dying by his own hand trying to catch the bomb.
>They also changed Sandman's original ending where he ambushes Spider-Man again at the construction site and then Captain Stacy shows up with Sandman's ex-wife and daughter, and they tell Sandman the little girl's condition has become terminal and there's no way to cure her anymore. Sandman realizes there's no point in fighting anymore, Spider-Man forgives him, and Captain Stacy lets Sandman leave to spend his daughter's last days by her side.

What's /co/'s thoughts on Kingdom Hearts? Are you excited for the third game and the possibility of marvel in addition to disney? Big Hero 6 has already been confirmed. The BH6 world takes place after the movie ends and alternate universe Baymax is founded by the main villain and turned into a heartless.

Everything after the first game is shit. The story becomes as shitty as Bleach full of terrible OCs and terrible plots. And the gameplay becomes worse (press X to win).

Objectively false. Everything else is true, but there's a certain charm to KH's autism.

I'm a lazy fat fuck and I want to have comics delivered to my door. I heard nightmare stories about Marvel's direct sub service and want DC and Marvel anyway. Which website has a service that's the best bang for my buck?

Doesn't Midtown Comics have a pull list feature on their website?

You're at the Annual Gotham Charity Banquet, and this guy spaps your trophy wife's ass. What do you do?

why would he do that? miller's batman is gay.

He fuggs Selina in Last Crusade, and makes out with her in DKR
Did he do more harm than good for Joker in the long run?
Depends on how you like your Joker
>>84224176
He did good. I don't think his performance really affected the comics, since the character was already a supreme edgelord when TDK came out and modern Joker was just just the end result of an arms race
