Well aside from the obvious.

Venom Blast should be hit with a nuke and made weaker. It's basically Marvel's Speed Force.
At the very least give it a drawback or something.
Second would be to have some other conflicts and add in Peter teaching him a little more.
The last issue gives us a set-up. Miles didn't leave a note for the police.
Peter should scold him for being so forgetful.

The main problem with Miles is that pretty much every other spider-hero is better. Even Silk.

I feel like a Peter Parker without all the baggage of being the flagship Spider-Man who's under constant scrutiny from the fanbase, etc. and has all these relationships with every character in the fucking universe from decades of publication(which Marvel can be pretty cavalier with anyway) is an obvious blessing that's being squandered.

Anyways it was a good movie, BTAS is easily one of if not the finest incarnation of Batman so anything in that setting tends to be good.

The unfortunate thing is that Burton's films aren't better.

The only similar but not quite scenario I can think of is tat African tribe or something that drew the Phantom on their shields for good luck.
