So far there's been nothing about it that's made me incredibly upset, so I'll keep watching. Sure they changed Tulip's characterbut they made her a total QT
I want a good comic to read, that has some back issues to read. Good art, a must, maybe dark, maybe action, well written
That also has an attractive female lead.
Any suggestions? Can the two be combined?
The new52 batwoman run was good, had fantastic art. Not many back issues though so doesn't hit all your marks but I'd still give it a shot
>>84244328
Brubaker's Catwoman at least until you hit the War Games crossovers at the end if the run where Palmiotti did the pencils and it looks like garbage.
Lazarus.
Jennifer Blood.
Velvet.
Judge Anderson: Psi Division.
Brian K Vaughan's Mystique run.
It's a Zeke episode
>>84244252
Awwww yeah we're in for a good time naow! BOOM!
>>84244252
Unpopular opinions time /co/.I think Bob's Burgers isn't actually all that great, and is in fact mediocre on average and sort of good at best. I rarely watch it.
>>84244561
that's not an unpopular opinion

What are some of the best non-cloak comics? I really loved Transmetropolitan, Rat Queens, Global Frequency and Punisher MAX.

cloak?
>>84244239
yeah this is funny. more.
>>84244299
You've never heard the term cloak?
It means superhero comics
why hasn't Oswald appeared in any of the new Mickey shorts? he has s model sheet and everything (that I can't find at the moment but still)
also, general Mickey Mouse Shorts threadyou can come too, Golly
>you can come too Golly
who?
>>84245232
I thought we agreed to wait until a new short came out before doing this?
>>84245355
really? I thought it was just waiting a couple days instead of every day
Why is Kingdom Come so highly regarded?
>>84243801
the art
>>84243814
Really? I won't lie, there are a lot of beautiful shots. But occasionally I can't even tell what's going on.
>>84243801
The art is nice to look at (it seriously lacks motion though), but that's kinda it.
Marvels did it first and did it better imo.
this never was, and never will be canon
with my imagination i am free
>>84244147
only weeb spics get that one anon
What is the shelf life of these 3? Think DC will get trigger happy and bring back New52 Superman?
>>84243676
Depends on sales, obviously. With Supersons as a book it should mean that they want to keep it going for a while.
I had stopped buying comics when Nu52 deleted all the legacies and relationships and they just got me back so I fucking expect them to keep restoring Pre-Flashpoint stuff rather than messing up again.
>>84243676
New 52 Supes should come back but the Superman line is packed right now.
Sad he had to die for our sins.
>>84243676
If sales are good then he'll probably be gone until sales start dropping
Then they'll bring him back for a sales boost
Has everyone given up on Arrow yet, or are there still people here who plan to continue on with it?
Felicity ruined everything
It's finally oveur.

/tv/ is that way ----------->
Because it's been a little while since the last one.

Not Required:
>If possible, could you give us a link to your work?
Taking a break from writing this chapter, so what the hell, I'll start.
>Is your work a cartoon or a comic?
Comic
>Can you sum up your work in a couple sentences?
To save his life, a Greek warrior makes a pact with the God of War.
>Who are your main characters? Describe them, both mentally and physically.
The MC is essentially notAchilles with an even bigger ego. The secondary mc is a woman he is teaching the art of warfare, kind of a play on Athena and Ares with the two of them.
>Who/what's your main antagonist? Does your work have a rouge's gallery of sorts?
In the immediate sense, a powerful king hoping to conquer the other city-states to form a united empire. In a more cosmic sense, the pride of angry men and the god of war that feeds of them.
>Outside the MCs and antagonists, what are some other characters from your work?
notAchilles serves an ungrateful fat king (currently) and the king's honourable son, who is notAchilles' lover.
>What kind of audiences are you aiming for?
Adult, but I'll settle for any audience.
>What do you think the biggest problem with your work is? Be honest.
Finding a line between dialogue that sounds suitably archaic as opposed to stilted. It's a fine line.
>When do you expect to have it done?
First issue is almost finished, currently waiting on pages. The whole first story arc (four issues) who knows? We hope to find a publisher, but there's no bets.
>Do you spend more time writing plots or world building?
About equal, but I think a lot of writers get too caught up in world building.
Have some pencils of the first page. (you'd think /co/ would have a better image limit)
>>84243580
>>Is your work a cartoon or a comic?
I'm doing a cartoon movie plot.
>>Can you sum up your work in a couple sentences?
A biopic on Max Fleischer, in the style of a Fleischer cartoon. The cartoons featured will be presented in the way Roger Rabbit featured them, with Fleischer actually directing the characters on set, that way, I can establish his relationship with characters such as Popeye, Betty Boop and Superman. I also plan on evolving the animation as the plot progresses, from black and white to color and such.
>>Who are your main characters? Describe them, both mentally and physically.
Fleischer is sort of perfectionist, trying to figure out the possibilities of what animation can do. He's tall and mustachioed, a humble man who excels in his craft.
>>Who/what's your main antagonist? Does your work have a rouge's gallery of sorts?
The closest we get to a villain of sorts of Walt Disney and Chuck Jones, but the both of them are just heroes in their own stories.
>>Outside the MCs and antagonists, what are some other characters from your work?
There are none. I'd like to pitch this story to Warner, and take them back to their heyday. I will definitely not be able to do this project independently.
>>What kind of audiences are you aiming for?
Classic cartoon fans, drama fans, people who can appreciate the passion of others.
>>What do you think the biggest problem with your work is? Be honest.
Honestly, it's the subject matter and how it's presented, presenting it in the style of an old fashioned cartoon whilst staying primarily adult in plot would be a little jarring to some, I think.
>>When do you expect to have it done?
The plot will continue to be revised and revised. I'll need to wait until I'd be able to pitch this to anybody.
>>Do you spend more time writing plots or world building?
Plots.
>>Which of the other works posted in this thread is your favorite?
Well, the other guy's work definitely isn't too bad at all. Sounds pretty intriguing.
>>84244462
It sounds like the kind of film that would be more successful in Europe. It sounds very interesting though.
If the bombs were attached to their belts, why not just take off the belts?
I haven't seen this but I'm guessing that removing the belt will trigger the explosion.
I liked Superman's method the best
>>84243644
Zoom said as much
This was unironically good and the twist of Killian doing war on terror and having the some people of the Gov at his side was well done. However, the kid and Tony destroying the armors still bug me. What do you think?
>>84243513
> war on terror
I meant using fear, sorry.
It's personally my favorite out of the three. I enjoyed the Mandarin twist, Tony having a panic attack thinking about New York, and the fact that the final villain wasn't just another guy in a suit.
>>84243513
I liked it, although that's a bit of an unpopular opinion
