Why is he so grumpy?
The company has become more diverse and better
because he has a mirror at his house
>>84376050
>better
That's up for opinion.
>Bane
>Black Mask
>Hush
>Owlman
>Prometheus
>Red Hood
Christ exactly how many "Dark Mirror of Batman" villains do we need exactly? Some writers are even doing with the fucking Penguin
>>84375935
You left out Killer Moth.
>>84375935
Its a pretty old trope for a rogue's gallery.
And honestly, Bane, Owlman, Wraith and Prometheus are the only ones that really count. And even then, Owlman is literally from another universe.
When did this happened?
Sometime after this happened.
>>84375805
Cap is a gay nazi with jungle fever?
>>84375859
Hulk was a vampire?
So this drops tomorrow. Let's talk about it.
>>84375696
Didn't like China IL when I first watched it, but it grew on me just in time for me to be sad when it was canceled. This looks like more of the same so I'm fairly excited.
>>84375696
I want Neely to collaborate with someone. He is great in short bursts, and his music is phenomenal. But he needs someone to help fill in the gaps when he has a 30 minute time slot.
>>84375696
Go back to making Youtube vids, Brad, you suck at TV.
More Queeblo, more Professor Brothers, more Babycakes Diaries.
Hey guys, so I got all riled up and hyped by My Hero Academia and now I lust for more "Super Hero School" genre
I already rewatched Sky High (yes) and now I'm reading pic related but that's still now enough.
Is there more good /co/ material on that matter? I remember seeing something called Gotham Academy on here a while ago, is it good?
>inb4 X Men
Not really superheroes and they barely do any fun school shenanigans. Plus, I just don't really like X-Men's themes and ideas
Also I'll post some more from Freaks Squeele, it's kinda all over the place but it has it's moments
>>84375544
>Plus, I just don't really like X-Men's themes and ideas
But you like My Hero Academia? Gotham Academy is pretty good, but it's not as strictly "a school for superheroes" as the other things you've mentioned. There's a gag comic called Supermutant Magic Academy in a setting like that.
>>84375723
Ombre is best dog
Since this film was total garbage, what are some comic books story archs that provide a better alternative plot for this IP?
>>84375507
Pretty much anything.
But who are we kidding, we know its going to be Injustice.
>>84375507
>BvS
>Garbage
kill yourself pleb.
>>84376070
Injustice isn't even that good
It would probably have done even worse than BvS
I've read people saying someone should've died in the movie, but I think that'd defeat the purpose of it. The whole movie is framed as an ideological conflict between Captain America and Iron Man born out of their past experiences throughout the previous movies, and it never presents a "right" side, it leaves for the audience to choose. Killing a member of each group would just make everyone get back together to mourn, and would also invariably paint the opposite side of the fallen hero as the "wrong" one, so there'd be no debate. Crippling War Machine in a friendly fire incident was the best course of action to have someone be deeply affected by the conflict while keeping the ambiguity of which side could be considered right.
>>84375363
>and it never presents a "right" side,
Except that Tony was undeniably wrong. No matter what your opinion on the idea of there being more restrictions on heroes, the accords as they were failed and for exactly the reason that Steve stated
He predicted that there would be a time when they would need to go somewhere, and the accords could stop them from going. Tony warned Ross about the super soldiers in Siberia, but Ross blocked Tony from going, So Tony broke the accords and went anyway.
This movie is actually a very interesting turn of character development for Tony. In the first Ironman he blindly trusted Obediah with his company. After he found out his weapons were being sold on both sides, and that Obe betrayed him, Tony trusted no one but himself with his tech. Now, after Ultron, he no longer trusts himself with that power and Civil War becomes Tony desperately trying to shove this responsibility off on some one else.

>I've read people saying someone should've died in the movie, but I think that'd defeat the purpose of it.
rather it should feel like anyone is in danger, it sure didn't feel like it, the only one who tried to go for the kill was iron man but they nerfed him hard to make it seem like Cap and Bucky had a chance and in the big fight before, they were all quipping around, War Mashines sudden fall, being all serious, felt really out of place.
>>84375670
The whole point is that several of them weren't treating it as a proper conflict and it suddenly all went to hell faster than they imagine.
ITT: Most you've cringed during in any comic media
For me, it's Jennifer Lawrence "speaking" Vietnamese. I'm a native speaker and just cringed hard listening to her. It's a very tonal language and no one bothered to correct her.
who cares, vietcong?
>>84375330
Everything about you and our people fills me with disgust.
>>84375330
That sucks. I watched Narcos and liked Wagner Moura, but a lot of Spanish speakers hated his accent (he's Brazilian and learned Spanish for the role). Being bilingual would be cool, but I'm glad my ignorance lets me enjoy things like this without being taken out of the story.
At least with X-Men you could say it's just Mystique being shit at Vietnamese. There's no reason why Pablo Escobar would sound Brazilian.
Hey Frank fans, I have a question.
If the Punisher met someone who had committed a crime in the past, like murder or drug dealing, but had since then recognized what they did was wrong, and become a social worker, or homeless shelter builder or something, would the Punisher still kill them?
>>84375136
Depends on who's writing him.
I'd like to think he'd rather spend his time punishing those who are actively hurting people.
What does Punisher thinks about Black Lives Matter?
I have never seen a thread about this movie.
Early 90s eco propaganda movie.

DUDE! POLLUTION! REEE!
When I read Extremis in the context of Iron Man stories before and after I realized how it completely ignored the continuity. (I tried to read all Iron Man stories in existence. It was.... interesting.)
It completely ignored everything that happened right before - Tony had a Japapese girlfriend for many years (they wanted to marry, then they didn't, then they did again), and she died in a horrible way.
He was an actual Secretary of Defense (in a below-average story, written by the guy who runs comichron). He had arguments with Pepper and Happy about... stuff.
And there were some more stories of various terribleness in the previous run - some of them OK, some of them super shit (Sons of Yinsen, that was so cringeworthy that I wanted to storytime it).
That was all ignored for Extremis.
Also, the story that came right after that tried to use Extremis characters slightly more in-continuity, and it failed, since it was super shit. And right after that came Civil War and all the crossover craziness, and basically everyone started acting like retards then.
Now I agree that it is probably the best Iron Man comics, but still, why does nobody speaks how it ignores all that came before, in the very issues right before the run?
I always hated Extremis, but mostly because I prefer suits of armor as opposed to cyborg Tony.
Everyone ignores the previous stories because:
1. They weren't THAT great.
2. Extremis was a reboot, essentially. They even changed the war Tony was injured in.
3. Extremis was pretty good.
4. Iron Man was a definite B-Lister.
>>84374809
Michelinie/Layton Iron Man had the most fun with all the various armors
although it sometimes had ass-pull / utility belt aspect to it. "Hey, I need this for this very special villain? Oh, I had it in my armor all along."
But their two runs is probably Iron Man at his best. Even when they never, in my opinion, topped Demon in a Bottle, which is their first Iron Man story ironically.
What, exactly is making everyone complain that Marvel NOWer is dooming Marvel? We're getting the original Thor back, crazy shit like USAvengers and Great Lakes, Captain Marvel's book isn't dropping the direction of her current (good) run... It doesn't really seem like it's the herald of Ruined Forever that everyone's complaining about.
>inb4 Riri Williams
That's your own stupid fault for caring about Bendis Iron Man in the first place.
>inb4 grimdark Slapstick
...yeah, okay, I can't defend this one. But is it that big a deal? We don't even know if he's getting his own book.
>>84374604
I just like to shitpost about everything the big 2 does. I don't even read it lol.
>>84374604
because if we are to look at ANAD. There's a good possibility all these good shit gets cancelled by Issue 6 or before it even reaches double digits.
>>84374604
I'm not following this at all. Still waiting for Citizen V to show up like they showed in the last Marvel NOW teaser.
>"“I had never played a character that legitimately didn’t give a f—,” said Smith who plays the assassin Deadshot aka Floyd Lawton. “It’s very freeing not having to carry the moral spine of the movie.”
>Smith continued talking about collaborating with director David Ayer on the character saying, “I couldn’t find a model to understand what would make someone comfortable killing another person for money,” said Smith. “David walked me through that. He found a book for me (The Anatomy of Motive by John Douglas), and I worked through getting into the mind of serial killers. Once I accepted the [notion the author puts forth] that it feels good, that really exploded the idea in my mind of Deadshot.”
Something actually giving me hope. Anyone know that book? is it legit or "MOM'S GONNA" tier
http://lrmonline.com/news/will-smith-talks-playing-deadshot-in-david-ayers-suicide-squad
>>84374602
>MOM'S GONNA
Literally kill yourself.
Except we know for a fact that he's just playing typical silly snarky will smith action hero.
>>84374602
>legitimately didn’t give a f—
That's not Lawton, though. He may be amoral in general but he certainly gives a fuck about things he cares about.
I think we all know that an animated meme movie is inevitable. Who will they cast as Pepe and Wojak?
Literally me
>>84374387
Steve Buscemi and Jason Statham as old retired memes
>>84374387
Not you, you massive fucking autist
