Ok, what the hell, people? I just read Watchman comic and realized that Hack's adaptation were perfect. It cut off all boring or stupid shit and made best capeshit movie of all time (except DK ofc). Modern flicks looks like absolute quip or edgy grimdark shit with retarded dialogs and empty characters. Watchman compared with all Marvel or DC staff looks like a fucking masterpiece. I can understand why casuals and cuckritics hate this, but you? Why? Zack ruined MoS and BvS really hard, but Watchman were almost perfect. Why so much hate for this awesome movie?

Yeah, I thought it was a pretty great adaptation too. Comic book fans are autistic and contrarian by nature, so they'll find SOMETHING to blow out of proportion to make it sound like utter shit. Like, Synder's silly slow mo action scenes were out of place, but it wasn't a film-ruining flaw by any means.

Having Ozy frame Manhattan instead of the whole faked-interdimensional-squid thing was a good change.

The Accused - Marc Guggenhim (W), Ramon Bachs & Garry Brown (A), out on August 10
The Fallen - Greg Pak (W), Mark Bagley (A), out on August 17

Revealed today by ComicBook.com

THE ACCUSED
>>What can you say about the superhero community’s reaction to Bruce Banner’s death? How does it differ from the population at large? Is the reaction from Bruce’s Avengers family different from that of his friends in the Defenders, or the other Hulks (Thunderbolt and Betty Ross, Rick Jones, Amadeus Cho, etc.)?

>Marc Guggenheim: Well, what’s interesting about the story that Brian Bendis has crafted for Civil War II is the superhero community’s reaction to Bruce’s death really runs the gamut -- and it should. Hawkeye kills Bruce under very questionable -- and debatable -- circumstances: Did Bruce pose a clear and present danger? Was Bruce going to “Hulk out”? Was Ulysses’ vision of the future about to come to pass? Reasonable minds can -- and do -- disagree about all of these questions.

>The primary reason -- in my mind -- as to why there is so much debate within the superhero community is that many -- if not all -- of these questions come down to what Hawkeye thought was going to happen. He claims to have been in the best position -- literally in the form of his unique vantage point and figuratively in the form of his specific skill set -- to have known whether or not Bruce was about to turn into the Hulk. Hawkeye asserts that he saw a fleck of green in Bruce’s eye seconds before he put an arrow through it. But no one else saw that fleck but him...

>>Where is Hawkeye’s mind at in all of this? Is he angry with himself, or with Carol or Tony or Ulysses? Does he feel like this is being put on his shoulders justly, or is he feeling like a scapegoat?

>MG: In The Accused, I’m playing Clint as not being sure. He made a split-second decision under extremely high stress with equally high stakes. He believed in the moment that it was the right decision, but being a sensible person, he knows that it’s possible that his judgment call was wrong. He’s now ready to face judgment, in part, to get an answer to the question that keeps him up at night: Was I right or wrong? Essentially, he’s looking to the jury to answer that question for him. However, juries don’t determine what really happened. All they do is weigh evidence and make a determination as to whether the prosecution has met its burden of proof. So, I see Clint as something of a tragic figure in all this: He’s placed his faith in himself in the hands of a system that can provide neither the condemnation nor the exoneration -- the clarity -- he desperately craves in his soul. Whether Clint wins or loses the trial... he’s lost.

>>Given his ties to the superhero community, is Matt Murdock eager to take this case, or would he have liked this one to pass him by?

>MG: All things being equal, he’d probably be happier not to have been selected to prosecute Hawkeye. But he’s a loyal officer of the court and takes his job as an Assistant District Attorney seriously, so he’s ready, willing and able to do the job before him.

>>What can you say about the mysterious conspiracy that Matt Murdock stumbles upon?

>MG: Well, if I tell you too much it won’t be mysterious...

>I’ll say that it has something to do with the Superhuman Registration Act -- the piece of legislation that was the flashpoint (am I allowed to say “flashpoint”?) of Civil War 1. I like the idea that there’s a little connection back to the original Civil War.

>And I’ll also say that if you read Civil War II #3 -- which depicts pieces of Hawkeye’s trial -- you still don’t know the whole story. And while you’ll find out the verdict in the body of Civil War II, the way that verdict was reached and the reason it was reached are plot details you can only get from The Accused.

>>Is there any chance that Hawkeye is in danger from those closest to Bruce? His friends are known for having a bit of a temper.

>MG: Mr. Bendis is probably better suited to answer that one. The Accused focuses on the legal proceedings against Hawkeye. That pesky federal government takes a dim view of murder -- and that’s what they consider Hawkeye’s actions to be, murder -- and they’ve got the death penalty as an, ahem, arrow in their quiver. Bottom line, they’re not fooling around.

Post costumes you think should inspire the next outfit a character wears. Fan art and redesigns welcome, but describe why you want it.

IMO X-Force was Laura's last (only?) really good outfit, so something like this in different colors or with wolverine-inspired flair would be p. cool.

Her current look which is a straight rip of Wolverine's '92 outfit seems lame, since the only person ridiculous enough to look good in that design is Logan himself, and Laura herself wouldn't wear something like that even if she felt obligated to honor Logan's legacy or somesuch.

It's really just the gaudy colours.
Laura's costumes should stick with black.

Not the OP, but I think OP's prob isn't the colors specifically but the mask and boots in particular.

Sure, they're "iconic" in a way but having the whole cowl thing looks stupid on X23, especially since it's "bald" at the top and lets her hair out at the back anyway. It serves no purpose. I also have to say I think the Wolverine outfit looks a lot better on her when she has the hood down. The boots are still bad though.

she looked OK in her All-New X-men outfit too, though the design was too generic overall. Even her New Mutants outfit with the weird gauntlets at least hinted at her powerset.
>>
>>84467715
I think It's just the mask. The boots really aren't an issue. The problem with the mask is that it creates a skullet look. It works when it encompasses the entire head and hair because then you get that sleek streamlined look or a condom head.

SUICIDE SQUAD opens with an extended sequence detailing each character's incarcerations and transfer to Belle Reve Penitentiary. The sequence is set to pop music and each time a new character appears, his name and rapsheet appear on screen in bright neon colors.

Deadshot is an ex-military turned contract killer who once tried to kill the Batman, only for his daughter to place herself between him and Batman, defending Batman, and leading to Deadshot being arrested and harboring an intense hatred of Batman.

Killer Croc is a cannibal who lives in the sewers and works as a mucle-for-hire for other criminals. He was arrested by Batman.

El Diablo is a former gangster from a Los Angeles cholo gang who repented after he accidentally set his wife and children on fire, and is now a pacifist who refuses to use his powers.

Captain Boomerang is a mercenary who got busted by the Flash during a botched assassination.

Slipknot is also a mercenary and got caught by Batman.

Katana is not a criminal, but her late husband was a killer for hire, and she volunteers to work for the government to atone for his crimes.

Enchantress is an archaeologist working for the government, who is searching for evidence of ancient aliens when she touches a voodoo doll and gets possessed by a spirit witch.

Culminates with Harley Quinn, a psychologist who became infatuated with the Joker after he tortured her and ultimately became his girlfriend. The Joker actually likes Harley even though he treats her like shit. Batman busts a deal between the Joker and a weapons dealer, Monster T, and the Joker ditches Harley in order to escape. Batman brings both Harley and Monster T in.

The Joker is a gangster and owns a nightclub where Harley is an exotic dancer. Early on the movie, right before Batman busts them, the Joker has Monster T and his men in his private room, and notices one of Monster T's guys eyeing Harley. He goads the guy into accepting a lap dance, then kills him for disrespecting his girl.

Amanda Waller gets everyone under the same roof at Belle Reve and requests that the government let her use them as disposable assets in high-risk missions, but the government says "no".

Enchantress escapes and attacks Midway City, opening a portal to Hell, turning Monster T into her brother, the Incubus, and turning Waller's men sent after her into monsters. With no other option, the government lets Waller use the Squad, and Enchantress' ex-boyfriend Rick Flagg gets assigned to the team.

The Joker finds out that's where Harley ended up and shoots down the Squad's chopper above Midway City, but his crashes as well, and he's presumed dead.

Slipknot tries to ditch the team, and gets his head blown up because Waller has put bombs in everyone's necks.

They basically make their way through the city to reach the Enchantress' nest, fighting a bunch of monsters along the way.

The Enchantress kidnaps Waller to get her heart back and go max power. This gives the Squad the chance to escape, but they decide to see the mission through.

Harley destroys the heart, "curing" the Enchantress' host, and Diablo sacrifices himself to kill the Incubus and close the portal.

The mission is succesful enough that the government decides to keep using the Squad. Everyone is locked back up for further use, under Flagg's command.

Batman helps Deadshot see his daughter again and Deadshot becomes cool with him.

In the end, the Joker turns up disguised as a guard in Belle Reve and rescues Harley and they drive off into the sunset.
