About diversity:
>"Right from the start we wanted to diversify the cast, and it is hard when you are working with Vikings. You want to be more inclusive and provide a broader representation. And at that point, you have to look at the source material as a very loose inspiration. And then take it from there and go with your gut. Say, ‘You know what? None of that stuff matters. Just because the character was blonde and white in the comic book. That doesn’t matter. That’s not what Valkyrie is about.’ People forget that."
About adhering to the source material:
>“Die-hard fans will say, ‘That’s not really authentic to the comics,’ but as soon as they watch the movie, and they’re involved in the story, and actually what’s happening, everybody forgets. The fact that we even have to keep having this conversation is ridiculous, because we keep forgetting. Unless it’s the topic of the film, it just shouldn’t even be — what do we even care?”
About Marvel Studios:
>“I think that the reputation of Marvel is very high. The things that they do is very high quality and they tell good stories. That’s the main thing. That’s why I got involved with them as well. At the heart of it they want to tell good stories, and that’s what I’m about as well. I’m not about explosions and the like. I like that stuff. I think it’s fun to do, but it’s not why I became a filmmaker. The thing I love is character and story.”
About production:
>"It’s hard to say what the movie is because it’s changing. The plot has changed and the script has changed. There are buddy elements to it between Thor and the Hulk, but who knows what the final movie will look like.”
>“I think this is the most different Marvel movie to date and one of the biggest.”
holy shit
Easiest drop I ever dropped.

Okay.
>>84560358
Did Waititi actually read Thor comics (especially the older ones)?
>"If you kill him, you'll be just like him!"
I'll become not as successful or beloved as James Rolfe?
Huh
There is logic in what he says.
>>84553719
When was the last time this ever happened?
Does anyone else think they would make a cute couple?
>>84553320
Hell no, what makes you think Iceboy would be hot for big dumb beefcake?
I see Bobby as more the falling for a hotblooded latin type.
Plus, what lone mortal could be enough to sate the lusts of the mighty Hercules?
Please don't touch my Herc with the trainwreck that is Gay Bob, it's bad enough what they're doing to him now.
>>84553320
Is there a name for that helmet Herc is wearing? I really love that design. Its like a boxing helmet but looks like its made of lighter padding. First time I saw it was in Seven Samurai.

I would be ok with her being transexual
Any fake tumblr genders and I'm out though
>>84552338
There's a market for bimonthly Deadman, starting at 6 freaking dollars???
Well?
>>84552295
Well what? When the /ss/ starts? I don't know.
Miles Morales. Still getting waifus well into old age.
>>84552295
is this bait or are you just interested to talk about the future of the comic.
Capekino thread?
say whatever you want about bendis, he gives his artists a lot of freedom and they come up with shit like this
So how does /co/ feel about this becoming a thing?
>>84551739
It's far more interesting than those dumb-ass military stories they keep trying to tell.
I still don't care though.
>>84551946
Basically this.
game comics isn't unusual. Only problem is that they are like never popular enough to be talked about here.
>>84555683
And when they are talked about here it's to have a really thinly veiled excuse to talk about vidya on /co/, like in our daily Overwatch generals.
Yup, it sure is healthy to keep having Ruth be the RA Willis.
>>84551634
>I forced my girlfriend to break up with me and also I blamed her for the break-up so I want to die
I agree. Death to Ruth!
Is Ruth flirting with Carla now?

Ten bucks says she takes the hatecrime cookies before she leaves Ruth to her doomspiral
“It was understanding how do we make her feel sexy by owning it as opposed to what a man thinks is sexy.”
What does she mean by this? I'm a man and I think this Harley's pretty sexy.
http://nerdist com/new-suicide-squad-concept-arts-different-takes-on-harley-quinn/
These people don't really know what they're talking about.
They literally don't understand that we're savages who will find anything sexy. You can't game us with that logic.
>>84551055
It's what women say so they don't feel or admit they're doing things for male approval.
>feel sexy
For whose pleasure if not men's? Unless you are a lesbian, you can only be trying to be sexy for men... S E X Y... The state of being SEXUALLY DESIRABLE (USUALLY BY THE OPPOSITE SEX)
Fucking idiots.
What the hell happened to this series? Another scam?
I think everyone over-estimated its lasting impact. The pilot became popular quickly, but those who were impressed by it at first didn't find it so later on.
Also, the art shift, long gaps between episodes, etc.
I was shit is what happened
>>84550808
the last episode still isn't out, is it?
and Frederator has been on record that Bravest Warrior won't be worked on until Bee and Puppycat is finished so it's got some heat for that
I love the interactions between these two.

I hate this comic.

You know that one really weird but surprisingly awesome game, Katamari Damacy? Apparently there was an official webcomic for it awhile back, and it's actually pretty great.
The site that hosted it has since been shut down, but the entire archive can be found here: http://s9.zetaboards.com/Katamari_Damacy/topic/7416355/1/
Looks lame.
>>84549157
I both appreciate and respect your honest opinion and optimism towards this.
>>84549096
Thanks, will check out
Inspired by the other thread; I want to get the opinion of /co/ on who they think do better in four areas.
>Street Level
>SUPERhero Level
>Cosmic Level
>Spirutual Level
>Street Level is figures like the Bat Family, Daredevil, Punisher, and Green Arrow.
>Superhero Level is obvious, figures from Spider-Man all the way up to Superman.
>Cosmic would be... actually, it's an area I'm to this day not particularly familiar with, as it doesn't interest me. Still, Silver Surfer, Guardians, and I assume the Green Lanterns and Lobo.
>Spiritual I decided to add, because it's something that interests me as a theology student. I love Constantine, Lucifer, Sandman and such, and in comparison Marvel always seemed really dull, trying to sidestep the whole area or ignore the elephant in the room, having figures such as Ghost Rider and Mephisto, and yet otherwise trying to make out it's all cosmic.

Name a Legend of Korra episode that is as good or better than The Firebending Masters.

I like that episode but I always thought it detracted from the lore of what TLA set out.
