Hi, /co/, i'm not a crossboarder, i have been seeing this trend about make "Western Anime", i mean original idea, writing from west with storyboard and art from Japan.
I open discussion here since /a/utists won't allow to discuss it.
Do you think is going to be a thing?
Also Indigo Ignited looks so generic flat anime as fuck
Needs more uguu~
So more or less, G1 transformers, thundercats, Silverhawks, afro samurai
It's cancer. Weebs need to keep their autism away from cartoons
Was Heroes Reborn better or worse than current Marvel?I only see people shitting on it but honestly compared to shit like Whor and America Chavez it looks good in retrospect.
first three issues of Fantastic Four was the last time they were good
>>94580683
I bailed on it when Lee stopped drawing it but I really liked those first few FF issues. That Liefeld Thor is actually pretty good, too.
America Chavez is not comparable at all to that so doesn't belong in that comparison.
Ironheart is about the same level of cringe as Teen Tony so that's a wash.
Thor reborn was fucking horrible and Whor is average at worst except for the small handful of cringe moments which were still not as bad as Thor reborn.
Captain America reborn was gutter trash and you're in fucking denial if you think it's better than FalCap.
There's a reason Reborn barely lasted one year.
JUST CALL ME ANGEL
I sincerely hate this faggotry because then the song gets millions of retards on YouTube posting
>deadpool brought me here
Or
>deadpool anyone?
Fucking cancer
Okay.

For me it's Deadpool; intelligent, nihilistic and a wicked sense of humor
Is Bertstrips/Sesame Street/The Muppets considered /co/?
No, it's considered Reddit.
>>94579938
Yes
What happened to the Rat Queens aniamted series that was announced like three years ago? Is it still being done, was it cancelled, was it even mentioned ever again? I demand to be given what I've been promised.
it's been 3 years?
>>94579911
At least
>>94579896
At this point I'd bet they have completely forgot about it. Guess there must be at least a pilot episode, but no news means there isn't going to be an actual series.
How sad is it that after 33 years, this is the best TMNT has to offer in terms of animation? The only other options are a lazy unfunny comedy and poorly plotted CGI mess that has aged poorly after only five years.
>>94579884
Why is it sad? The 2003 version largely follows the comics, you can't do much better than that.
>>94579953
Because all three TMNT cartoons share one problem, they're way too heavy on toy marketing. granted the 2003 show is the best you can do when you're forced to put in heavily armored vans, combat helicopters, exploration submarines, skateboards, motorcycles, jetpacks, ziplines, scuba gear and jet skis regardless of wheter or not it's necessary for the plot, at least they wrote in reasons and most of the characters did appear in multiple episodes and if they weren't then they weren't focused on too much.
But it's still, you know, there...
I like the 80's Krang/Shredder dynamic, but otherwise I just can't get into it.
Utrom Shredder in 03 was a cute compromise.
Bags and boards for your comics, sir?
>>94579297
Silver age sized, please.
For sure man. Might as well pick up a new long box while I'm in here, do you have any that don't come pre-assembled? I like to put them together myself, feels like I put a little effort into housing my collection properly, y'know?
>>94579297
My dad has like six milk crates worth of comics he has been collecting since 1975 or so, all lovingly bagged and boarded. I was thinking of doing a random grab and storytiming what I pull out.Got like a 45% chance of it being an old Teen Titans
Name a better cartoon. I'll wait.
>>94579214
That was easy.
Steven Kinoverse
>>94579214
Jackie Cha- fuck,no wait, yes
Jackie Chan Adventures
Are there any co/ material that takes place in japan?
Pic related
Kappa Mikey
>>94579159
Samurai Jack
>>94579159
What's up with elephant ears over there?
You know, compare to /v/and if you wanna count them /a/, we're pretty blessed that we have gotten a good amount of kino /co/ adaptations.
>>94579083
Bump
The state of video game movies is pretty depressing, though...
>>94579083
>Stop right there, evil do-er!
>You're about to get leg'd!
How would /co/ get out of this awkward situation?
>>94579052
Beg one to crush my head with their thighs and the other my dick
>>94579052
*unzips dick*
/co/ is so fucking lazy. Every other thread is just an excuse to get your dicks out over drawings, and it's fucking pathetic. Promote some actual discussion for once, Jesus Christ
Cartoon Network schedule for next week. Reruns of Teen Titans are continuing as well as more OK KO premieres.
Welp the ratings for TT can't be that bad or else they'd switch up at the last second like in the past with some shows iirc
Better than last week at least.
>>94578882
The reruns are on way too early but at least they are airing Trouble in Tokyo in the afternoon.
Kamala Khan vs. Helen Parr: who would win in a fight?
>>94578760
Elastigirl has more shapeshift fighting experience
But Kamala's got a healing factor and can actually grow to giant size with corresponding strength augmentation.
>>94578760
>who would win
My dick
>>94578760
idgaf, just post the porn
OH NO! And it's class picture day! And the big math test is after lunch! And I got an 'F' on my report card! And the school bully wants to fight at 3 o' clock! AND the prom is tonight!

Why is Pac-Man officially depicted with a nose? Nothing in the graphics of the original game indicates he has a nose. Honestly he looks better as just a ball with a mouth.
>>94578654
Wow! Just like from the games!
On this day 44 years ago, August 11, 1973, a young DJ going by the name of Kool Herc hosted a party for his sister's birthday in the recreation room of the apartment complex on 1520 Sedgwick Avenue in the Bronx. While DJing, he discovered that if he took two copies of the same record, played the two drum breaks within the song in succession and shifted between the two using a mixer, he could keep the drum break going indefinitely. This is credited as being one of the most pivotal moments in the birth of the genre that would later be known as hip hop music, arguably the most popular genre of music in the US and one of the most influential in the world.
This graphic novel by Ed Piskor chronicles the scene's early years, and the events that would shape its rise.
