What are your thoughts on "mean-spirited" episodes? Are they inherently bad?
>>84886934
They can get to that point, if the protagonist doesn't get an apology of some kind.
>>84887452
>if karma isn't arbitrarily applied then the episode is automatically bad
What the fuck does mean-spirited even mean in the context of a cartoon?

i miss this korra.
the one in season 3 and 4 didn't have a personality.
*sniff*isniff*
Oh my beautiful confident korra, will you ever come back to us? All my /co/mrads did really mean to hate, they just didnt know how to express their feelings towards you.
I'm sure that the animated version of TKJ has been talked about here already. Not gonna bother searching for them though since I just wanted to give my own 2 cents worth here.
I got a chance to watch my copy last night and I have to say that despite all the comic con hype, this OVA has to be one of the worst Batman OVAs ever. The first half of the video involves a bunch of shit dealing with Barbara Gordon/Batgirl that has FUCK NOTHING to do with the Joker part of the story. And the biggest letdown is the flat, almost monotone delivery of the Joker's lines by Mark Hamill. I've heard Mark deliver readings of the "Madness" monologue and the KJ at convention panels that had far more emotion and impact. But in the actual animation itself, his performance was luke warm (pun intended).
In short, what could have been one of the best Batman OVAs based off of one of the best Batman graphic novels turned out to be instead a slapped-together cash grab by Hollywood suits who knew they'd make a shitload of money off of this thing no matter what anyway. No wonder Alan Moore (who's name I didn't see listed int he credits) feels the way he does about media adaptions of his scripts intended for graphic novels only.

Are you such a special snowflake that you honestly think your opinion is too good to post in one of the other dozen KJ threads?

>OVA
Hey ma! I spotted the weeb!

To be fair, I wonder how much they lost in refunded ticket sales between the leaks and last night alone.
I'll start
Nobody hates Diane. She's just your average woman.
>>84886151
>Nobody hates Diane
>>84886206
There's nothing to hate, she is a pathetic little woman, everything she does crumbles and she isnt blind to that
So, will Baron Mordo become a villain or will he remain Doctor Strange's bro throughout? The trailers imply he's firmly on the good guys' side.
>>84885993
It's a fakeout, I assume he earns Wongs respect and he becomes the bro
>>84885993
>Marvel having a good villain
nice one
>>84885993
>another black sidekick
Has she hulk ever looked better
Needs a metal arm and an eyepatch or glowing eye.
MAN HANDS
The hands of a man.

I'd let her jack my dick straight off my body.
The theatrical cut is like being handed a shitty burnt steak with a huge piece obviously missing from it. The Ultimate Edition is your waiter bringing you that missing piece. Sure you have the whole steak now but now you can see how bad they fucked it up and you still are forced to eat it.
The Ultimate Edition makes a boring movie even longer and adds more useless plot to a story that already had too much going on.

Nice blog post
>>84885590
Ok dont watch it again

Should have asked the server to bring out the manager, perhaps at least you would have gotten a replacement; or at least gotten it taken off your bill.
>the protagonist never does anything wrong and tries to do good
>he always gets framed
>he's never respected
>the villain always gets away with everything
This show is impossible to watch
I HATED this show.
try Mr. Pickles.
The evil pet still gets away with everything, it at least there it's evil deeds are mostly delivering brutal punishment to other evil-doers.

It's Invader Zim but without any of the appeal
