How in the flyin' fuck am I supposed to believe that no member of the Avengers, old or new, actually knows that Coulson is still alive?
>>84949879
No one cares.
>>84949879
Why would they know? Why would they care?
>>84950215
>No one cares.
Given the events of the first Avengers movie, I wouldn't say no one cares.
>>84950280
>Why would they know?
Like because Coulson doesn't do shit to hide himself, travel around the world, attend events... and usually Tony Stark knows what you ate for breakfast, but can't find out Coulson is alive?

I mean, we already knew it was the worst thing Marvel was putting out. Is this really any worse than the rest if the series?

Should we be able to hear/experience his inner monologue as he's Franking?
Inner monologue is usually lazy writing.
>>84949336
Frank's inner monologue is usually pretty God-tier, though.
>>84949336
Would talking to himself, out loud, be preferable?
So who are going to join Barton's Team?
We know so far that they're non powered heroes (so either they're depowered or relly on special gimmicks), and we know that certain heroes are going to be somewhere else. Clint is going to be a 'problematic' person for half the well known superhero community after the Banner incident (unless they somehow undo the whole mess magically in the last issue of CWII). There is, too, the thing that I kind of remember reading somewhere that they're going to go to other cities and places, so not settled in NY only. And I don't see random heroes with no relation joining Clint for street level adventures: they have to, at least, known him from before.
I can think of Scott Lang and, maybe? Echo, but that's all. And I don't see the group being more than 5 or 6 members.
Your thoughts?

Because is not about mutans, and Marvel doesn't care, or so says internet. I'm reading New and Uncanny Avengers and there're mutans there, plenty.

What are the best runs in the series what are the worst runs? Who are the best writers and artists?
Discuss anything Amazing Spider-Man #1-#700
It's all downhill after #38 desu. Romita, Conway, Dematteis and particularly Roger Stern's stuff is great but Ditko's is some of the best cape comics in history and no one really comes close.
Also be warned that there were tons of Spidey comics like Spectacular, Web of, team-ups, annuals etc. etc. so you're not gonna get a lot of the full runs just sticking to ASM
>>84948828
Luckily I found a torrent with all of the annuals and mini series included. I'm on issue 2 and so far the writing is laughable to say the least but I understand why. The art i'm in love with. There are some actually really great moments so far.
>>84948828
Just checked my folder. I have all 39 annuals. And in the mini series section I have Swing Shift, One More Day, Kraven's First Hunt, The Short Halloween, and Brand New Day. Does that seem good enough on top of the 700 issues?

>The subject then turned to a pair of upcoming titles based on animated smashes: Frozen and Zootopia. “To make a comic based on such a successful movie is really daunting,” Santillo said. “But artists get to be a part of the Frozen world, of the Zootopia world, and get to expand those worlds. It can go much more in-depth in the characters’ daily life.”
>Art was shown from the forthcoming Zootopia comic book series, and it really looks like they’re pushing things stylistically, with super-creative page layouts and panel configurations. “Because it’s a city, and a unique universe, you can go up and down, and move in any direction,” Santillo said. “We are exploring a brand new world. It’s a real universe. Layouts could be very fascinating and the color treatment could be really interesting and a new interpretation of the original style.” It shows–these pages looked beautiful.
Are you ready to overdose on Zootopia hype again? Potentially on a recurring basis?
>>84948651
I'd be genuinely interested if I knew it wasn't just going to be a retread of the film in comic form.
>>84948771
They did say "it can go much more in-depth in the characters' daily life," which implies this isn't just a retread of the movie.
We know that a graphic novelization of the movie is coming (it might just be an english language version of the one that's already out there) and a prequel / midquel comic of some kind, but the implication here seems to be that they've got bigger plans than just a retelling of the movie, potentially a full-on continuation.
I would love to have some kind of series that bridges the gap between Zootopia and its sequel. Either a comic, or a TV show. I have a feeling that a comic will have a much easier path towards pleasing the fans though, just because it doesn't have to be compared directly with the movie's animation and voice acting. Comics are a totally different medium than movies and TV, after all.
I just want some brotastic buddy cop adventures.

There are dozens of these on Netflix.
They're all foreign (usually Chinese) and feature some has-been C-lister. Rob Schneider and Tom Arnold are recurring ones.
Used to watch them all the time with my sister. Favorite (as in most astoundingly bad) is this one.
