How was Arnold a Sue?
>>85681060
Always morally right, everyone likes him (even his tsundere, Helga), always saves the day, etc. He literally has no flaws.

because OP woke up this morning with a throbbing desperation to ignorantly shitpost
I've noticed Batman's top villains seem to symbolize core aspects of his character and stories as well as eras in which they embody.
R's Al Ghul is the counter to the globetrotter, the Hairy Chested Love God, the Bondian man of action and adventure. He is the Oriental menace to serve as the perfect counter for batman at his most Pulp and is a villainous symbol of the Bronze Age.
Joker is the classic supervillian, the art criminal, who fights and commits not for ulterior motive but for the love of the game itself. Colorful, chemical and mad he is the enemy of batman as a superhero and despite his Golden Age origins, has become a staunch icon of the Silver Age.
Strange I would argue them has emerged as an icon of Batman's psychological nature. He is a psychologist, and is about madness and introspection. Joker threatens his skills as a crimefighter, Ghul as a genius warrior but Strange the nature of the mind itself. His use as ana spect of Batman's earlier days has grown strong, as seen in The Batman and Gotham and he has grown to be seen as an arche rival more and more.
What are your thoughts?
Killer Croc throwed a big rock at the Batman.
>>85681100
Killer Croc is his brutality.
I think you're seeing exactly what you're looking for, even though it isn't there.
Is Yugo the perfect shota husbando? He did nothing wrong, after all.

>>85680596
>He did nothing wrong
Also, he comes with issues about being shota
>>85680596
>never personally beat any of his major villains
Hopefully he sucks less in Season 3
Is this the worst event of all time? Will Bendis be fired for this?
>>85680244
Why would he be fired?
>>85680244
You are dumb.
>>85680244
Nah, it's nowhere near as bad as Ultimatum or Identity Crisis.
In fact, it isn't even the worst Bendis event. Age of Ultron still takes the cake for that one.
ITT: Underappreciated designs.
>>85680174
Worst Joker design of all time
>>85680228
Harsh, anon
Joker, by his very nature, can be of any design

Do you guys like Bambi? Let's have a Bambi thread.
I'm reading the original novel currently. Disney actually adapted it closer than I assumed. They changed or left out many details but it's still more accurate than their fairy tale adaptations. Fun fact, in the book Faline and Bambi are cousins.
>>85680336
It's not remotely kid exclusive. It's a definite family geared film.
I think it's an incredibly boring film. I think it, more than any other cartoon, cemented the idea in the minds of adults and parents that cartoons were only for children, and not for adults.

All of them. This artist needs a bit more work on their anatomy. Esp. taints.

Amazing
Info:
The series revolves around the life and adventures of Luc and Theo, two 12-year-old best friends who get stuck in a time loop where every day is Monday, and as the Monday is always the same, they know everything that will happen before it happens. They use it as an opportunity to do whatever they want to, most primarily at school, what usually gets them in trouble.

What's your opinion on this and why show is perfect?
>13 episodes
This sounds like the plot for one, how could they stretch it out a whole season?
>>85679963
Daybreak did a long time ago.how did that show end?
>>85679963
I mean Phineas and Ferb made THEIR concept stretch out.
Also nice to see the Grojband guys are still getting work.
Lets take a moment to appreciate the cuties of the comic book world. I'll start.
Nicola Scott
Just cutie comic makers?
Remember when Patton Oswald played Dan Slott in Fairly Odd Parents?
>>85679592
I'm sick of seeing Patton Oswald in everything.
>>85679592
Remember when Patton Oswalt's wife was in Ghost Busters since dead?
>>85679695
Holy shit what a fucking asshole
>>85679592
Forgot that was Patton
Everybody says Maximum Carnage sucks, but I love love LOVE it. I just don't know what went wrong with Maximum Carnage for everybody to act like it is THE WORST POSSIBLE THING, I mean really darling it isn't that bad, perhaps my enjoyment of it is fueled by the fact that it was the first full arc I ever read when I was young, but I think people who outright call it awful are loco in the coco.
it's too long and too dense for casuals, it requires absolute knowledge of late 80's early 90's Spider-Man comics to enjoy.
>>85679601
Oh I'm sure it doesn't require ABSOLUTE knowledge to enjoy.
>>85679614
It does if you're on the spectrum.
Did they ruin animation?
Yes, but nowhere near as much as Filmation.
Yes because we all know how animation disappeared in the 60s and then again in the 80s, never to be used again as an entertainment medium.

Reminder.
So I recently realised there's a bunch of big name characters I've never read a single issue of. Rather than beg for spoonfeeding I figure others are probably in the same boat, so lets help each other out.
ITT: post characters/books you want to try, your favourites, and recommend entry points based on this (or, you know, just based on stuff being really good).
Want to try:
>Thor
>Nightwing
>Spider-Man
>Captain America
>Supergirl
Favourites:
>Swamp Thing (Moore)
>Animal Man (Morrison)
>Fables
>Etrigan (in basically everything he's in)
>Gotham Academy
Pic related, seeing this page is what made me want to try Thor.

That's the best response to tumblr outrage I've ever seen.
>What's that? Someone's been calling me a Nazi on the internet? Sorry I couldn't respond, I was busy having a life.
My LCS didn't pick this up so I couldn't check it out. Any good?
>>85678986
kinda, the first issue was exposition and we got to know the characters (dog and girl) and is nothing that we havent seen before
I got into comics 9 months ago. I've been reading several currently running series and honestly I just can't shake the feeling that this is all the same shit.
Every comic feels like it follows the exact same formula and the only things that change are the costumes.
wat do
Same
Except I've been reading for 11 years
Do you any discussion that you want to create
Do you read anything other than capeshit?
>>85678825
Read non-capes. Read some Ditko. Or just read the great stories of characters you enjoy
