Reading through Morrisson's Doom Patrol for the first time and it's great. Next thing I should pick up is his Flex Mentallo, right? What other DP related books should I read? To be honest, I'm actually getting into DP because of Gerard Way is doing the upcoming run and I'm a big fan of him.

You all know what high place /co/ holds DnA's GotG in. You all know that the general opinion about Bendis' GotG is "it's shit". But how much of it have you really read?
Of course it's shit, but WHY is it shit? It's not just not following DnA's characterization. There is so much more shit to it.

Pretty much this.
You couldn't get away with showing someone getting shot with a gun in material aimed at children- but you still wanted to be able to show big action scenes and what have you. Enter the laser gun sweep. You can show someone getting shot, and we, the audience, know they've been shot, but without a wound or blood to show for it, thus skirting the censor.
Samurai Jack did the same thing to work around the censor- rather than cutting people up and being covered in blood, everyone was robots so it didn't count.

Not paying attention to Netflix. Or at least not paying enough attention.
I used to have it. But I used it less and less until I couldn't really justify the price even with it being as cheap as it is. It's the same with Hulu.
