You know something? This movie really isn't that bad, in fact I'm finding it rather good.
If you're a stickler for sticking to original material would I recommend this? No not really.
But if you're okay with an interpretation that's very different but retains the basic heart of the original and is an enjoyable watch as long as you remember you're not getting a 'proper' adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy manga? Hell yeah give it a chance.
The problem with things like Dragonball Evolution is if you take them on their own merit and ignore on how well it does at adapting the source material it's still a shit movie. the 2009 CGI Astro Boy movie as a stand alone thing is pretty darn good.
I'm shit at defending this movie, I think. Maybe someone else here can do better?

I didn't really mind Nathan Fillion but he didn't do anything either. Granted there were also a lot of characters. I actually didn't like the Aubrey episode that much since it felt stiff and awkward but she tried and it was still funny.
Spencer and Jeff are my favorites, but Matt and Kumail(gay kobold) are also great. I think he was on their podcast playing DnD before this.

I've been reviewing all of Rick and Morty season 1 frame by frame and this particular shot of Rick's room in the postcredit scene of Episode 10 "Close Rick-counters of the Rick Kind" is particularly interesting.
Let me break it down and draw some conclusions.
In the red circle is Doctor Xenon Bloom, who previously died in the third episode "Anatomy Park." The fact that Rick still has a picture of him indicates a post-mortem homosexual relationship of some kind. Probably will be explored in season 3.
In the brown cricle is Prince Nebulon who also previously died in episode four "M. Night Shaym-Aliens!" Indicating that Rick also has a post-mortem sexual attraction of some kind to him, however I believe for the sake of brevity they will save that story for season 16.
In the blue circle we can see an allusion to Aberdolf Lincler, who at the time had not been introduced yet and appears in the next episode "Ricksy Business" It possibly indicates that Rick was still experimenting, or searching for Aberdolf to possibly have a homosexual relationship with him.
The Pink circle is an ever infamous Mr Meeseeks, referencing episode five "Meeseeks and Destroy" possibly alluding to the return of the character. It is safe to assume that the next occurance of Mr Meeseeks will involve some sort of homosexual relationship or fantasy involving Rick.
Finally in the purple circle is a dirty Jerry. Fuck Jerry, I bet he's gay.
