How is current Daredevil? Would it be worth jumping into the current 2015 series? Just finished most of Miller's take and I really enjoyed it.
It's pretty good. Waid's is one of the best though it's very different from Miller's. Bendis' is also really good.
It's worth just jumping into Kevin Smith's run and working your way up through Brubaker's. You can skip the last bit by Diggle (Shadowland), and just knowing that it was a dark time where DD got too edgy, jump into Waid's run for lighthearted fun.
You really should read Bendis though, because it was the last time he was great at comics. Basically a spiritual successor to Miller.

The definitive Daredevil Runs are
Miller
Bendis
Brubaker
Stuff to read if you just really like the character
Kevin Smith's run and Waid's run.
Soules run so fare has been solid and I love the atmosphere Ron Garney has built for the series so far with his art which the other fill in artists imitated to a degree with the help of the colorists.
>wants to be a Catholic priest
>doesn't because he looks like a demon
Why doesn't Nightcrawler amputate his tail and round the helix of his ears? He'd look like just a guy with 6 fingers and blue skin then instead of a demon. Solves his conundrum of wanting to be priest but looking like a demon
>>86584682
He just has to get over his own personal demons to become a good Catholic. Or even a priest. Fearing his own looks and not valuing his own eternal soul the same as anyone else is fault.
>>86584682
Looking like a demon didn't stop him from becoming a priest. Even though it was a really weird change in direction for the character, but apparently being quietly, but sincerely religious wasn't good enough anymore. Thankfully, that nonsense is over and done with.
>>86584718
Well the thing is less he's self-conscious and more "he doesn't want to terrify parishoners who think Screwtape is standing at the alter." He's pretty fine with his looks in most regards.
What do you guys think about Lady Mechanika
>>86584611
Sorry but I just read Marvel and DC.
>>86584611
I am of the opinion that whatever meager value the steampunk aesthetic had was immediately negated by the cavalcade of cosplay-bait garbage that flooded any and all media even remotely associated with the word.
I believe that this work is like all the others.

>LITERALLY judging a book by its cover
Why people liked Zemo again? His motivation was the same as Magneto's but against superheroes. Also, his plan is convoluted as fuck (nowhere like the Heath Joker's tho).
I didn't like zemo. I feel like he had very little character of his own, and only exists as an excuse so the writers could have more freedom with the plot
>>86584608
>Lure Cap and Iron Man to a place and show them something that would make them fight or at least trust each other less
That's not complicated. It may seem that way because of the Winter Soldiers red herring.
Your other complaints hold water though.
>Ledgers Joker had a complicated plan
Blow up two boats?
>>86584608
Who said they liked Zemo? I've never seen a thread defending him or applauding either.
ITT: obvious stuff that took you a long time to notice
>this entire episode parodies on how the US went about going into Iraq
You know, his reasoning was flawless. Absence of evidence is not necessarily evidence of absence.
I need more deforestation porn drawn in Boondocks art style
>>86584610
Yes, but it's also not, you know...evidence. "We can't conclusively say there aren't WMDs" is not the same as "they have WMDs" which is kind of a big deal when your reason for promoting a war is that they have WMDs.
I understand he uses his laser vision to trim his facial hair, but how does he cut his hair?
He goes to SuperCuts
>>86584602
Noice.
Why can't he do the same thing?
Superman is not a god. There is nothing godlike about him. He is not omnipotent or omniscient. Asserting that he's a god just misses the entire point of the character. Stop ruining Superman with your bullshit.
>>86584447
This thread is most certainly guaranteed relies as always.
Gonna grab some popcorn, let's see how long this one lasts compared to other one earlier this week.

How can I ruin Superman when I am an atheist and never viewed him as God? Piss off.
>Blackmails a criminal into becoming an accomplice in exchange for destroying evidence of his crime
>Conducts numerous illegal searches without a warrant
>Causes widespread property damage and public endangerment in pursuit of a low level shoplifter
>Destroys a train car full of evidence, which would have been inadmissible due to her unsanctioned taking of it anyway, instead of reporting it for proper investigation
>Becomes deeply affiliated with one of the city's most notorious crime rings, going so far as to become godmother to the Don's grandchild
>Stands by and watches as said Don threatens to murder by dropping them into ice water
>Starts a goddamn race war
>All within her 1st Month on the force
Has any /co/ character been this horrible at their job?
She's a loose cannon, but goddamn it, she gets results!

>>Blackmails a criminal into becoming an accomplice in exchange for destroying evidence of his crime
Every officer-informant relationship ever.
>>Destroys a train car full of evidence, which would have been inadmissible due to her unsanctioned taking of it anyway, instead of reporting it for proper investigation
Train car was public property, on public property. Seizure is justified if criminal activity is witnessed.
>>Becomes deeply affiliated with one of the city's most notorious crime rings, going so far as to become godmother to the Don's grandchild
Association is not a crime.
>Judy could actually have been arrested and charged for the following crimes: firstly, she did not report Mr. Big to the police even when it was safe for her to do so, thus making her guilty of selective enforcement; secondly, she was guilty of criminal negligence by forcing Nick into dangerous situations without weapons of self-defense several times, even when his presence was unnecessary; thirdly, she attempted murder by interrogating Duke Weaselton (along with Nick and Mr Big); and finally, she caused disturbance to public order (which is interpreted as terrorism) by hijacking a train and almost hitting an incoming train. The maximum penalty for these four crimes (not including the "Noble Cause Corruption" crime as an added penalty) is 5+14+20+20=59 years. She was also guilty of blackmailing Nick and withholding the evidence of his confidence scams.
Did the ends justify the means?
How would Franklin turn out if he was raised by doom instead of the ff?
>>86584371
Probably better off. Do you know what id give to have doom as a mentor?

Isn't he going to hook up with Rachel Grey in some alt future?

Why is he doing the black power fist?

I fucking loved Spencer's Avengers World & Secret Avengers so it's god dammed heart breaking.
What's a scene that made you genuinely happy? Something that just made your day a little bit better.
This show could just be it's backgrounds and I'd still watch the fuck out of it. Everything about this show is cozy. I want to marathon it on a snow day.
Clowns always make me happy.
Why cant they make good fantasy animated movies anymore?
>>86583924
The jews took over the animation industry (along with every other entertainment industry).
>inb4 /pol/
It's objectively true, though. There are a fuckton of jews in the entertainment industry.
I'd take any fantasy animation. I can't think of anything that's come out in 15 years.
>>86583984
If anything there were more in the 80s, and even then they made it good. Problem is the chinese market and foriegn investors caring more about "profit" then to make something with depth in it. Im just sick of seeing shit like pic related getting made. Its a litteraly rape of my childhood.
Hey guys
>>86583918
I dont like the pleather titties these costumes are getting.
>>86583981
Pleather is the speedforce's only weakness. If their costumes didn't have that padding, the speedforce would stop their hearts.
>>86583981
I'm not a fan of the weird gradient shit going on. Solid colors work much better.
